'Stud for Hire' by Sabrina York is book one in the "Stripped Down" series. This is the story of Hanna and Logan.
Hanna is about to be married to a man who has told her if she marries him he will save her father from financial ruin. Hanna has agreed to do so but told not one of her reason for marring Zach. Her sister is throwing her a bachelorette party which she has bus them all (including a future sister-in law)into the Double S Ranch. It has been turned into a 'stud ranch' by the owner to save his ranch from going under. Logan helps out sometimes with the actually working of the ranch but he is being talked into being part of the 'stud' portion...which he is against until he sees Hanna. Logan has had a crush on her since back in school where she was the rich girl out of his reach. Logan thinks this might be his chance to finally get to know Hanna. Hanna doesn't remember Logan from school but she sure takes notice of him now. Will this be a ill fated weekend? Or will Hanna find out what a mistake she is making marring Zack?
This was a hot romance story so if you are looking for that then this is your book for sure!

Logan suppressed a shudder. This weekend was going to be a nightmare. The bunkhouse was going to smell like a fucking sorority. He'd probably end up taking his bedroll out onto the range. He'd rather sleep with the rattlesnakes.

This was a surprisingly sweet, funny and sometimes angsty cowboy romance. Hanna is soon to be wed so her sister Sidney has taken it upon herself to show her what she'll missing. Se takes her to a ranch filled with randy male strippers, in the beginning all we know is that Hanna is getting married to the perfect man but she doesn't seem too happy about it and neither are her friends. As the story progresses some light is shed and what I really liked about this story was that information was slowly fed to the reader, I mostly learned things right along with the heroine and found myself saying "Okay so that's why that happened."

Logan has held a torch for Hanna, ever since high school when he was only a skinny boy who she didn't even know existed. When Logan sees Hanna step out of the bus, all those memories resurface and the stripping job he got bamboozled into doesn't look so bad anymore. Hanna immediately feels drawn to the quiet and broody male stripper, and when he propositions her she finds herself seriously considering spending her last few moments as a single woman with him.

With a sudden epiphany that stunned her, she realized she wanted this man in a way she'd never wanted a man before. And she wanted him to want her. Fervently, completely. To whip her into a frenzy and take her the way she yearned for it. Hard. Hot. Hungry.

Now I had a lot of trouble with Hanna at first, I mean why marry a man you're not in love with? And her hazy memories at first did annoy me. But she dealt with the stuff that happened in her life the only way she could and while I didn't understand her at times I could kind of empathise. Logan and Hanna spend some seriously steamy moments together, there's some light bondage and spanking which I really enjoyed. This story had plenty smexy scenes and I never got tired of it. Logan is seriously one of the most caring, sweet yet alpha heroes I have ever read! i mean I love the strong, alpha male type and at times the heroes I love aren't even politically correct, but at the end of the day when you imagine the guy you'd spend your life with it would be Logan.

Inexorably drawn to her, he stepped closer. "Oh. It's a working ranch." A low rumble, infused with meaning. Yeah. He'd like to work her.
Work her over.

The supporting characters like Hanna's sister and her friends, and Logan's friend Cody and brothers were fantastic and I hope each one of them will have books in this series. Highly recommended!

Hanna Stevens is getting married in a few weeks to a man she doesn't even really like, never mind love. Her fiance, Zack, is CEO of the bank that holds the note on her family's ranch and marrying him will save the ranch from foreclosure, save her parents from moving when her mother's health is not good.

Logan Landry lost a bet and now finds himself "working" for the weekend at his buddy, Cody's ranch... Only, it's not a working ranch, it's more like a strip show with fake cowboys and lusty women. Logan plans to hide out all weekend until he spots her—the girl of his teenage dreams. Hanna.

Hanna's always been the good girl, always been the steady one who will sacrifice her needs for the good of her family, but maybe one weekend she's just going to be bad. Dip her toe into the naughty pond for a swim with a stripper—Logan. It's her bachelorette party after all, she should be able to have some fun, right?!

I loved Logan. He was hot and sexy, and just enough of a cowboy for my liking. He's adorably sweet and kind, and only wants to help Hanna. Oh, and he's jealous too—especially where his brothers are involved! I loved the interactions with his brothers, his parents and little sister. And while I liked Hanna, part of me wanted to shake her to just go talk to her father, to find out the real story about the family finances...to not settle.

I'm a huge cowboy romance fan. Love when they ride off into the sunset. Stud for Hire isn't your typical cowboy story which in most ways is a good thing, but there were pieces of the story that were just left hanging and unresolved, and unfortunately, those were the not so good things. ~ Missy, 3.5 stars

Duty over love…

Cowboy strippers! Who could resist that? The bride-to-be apparently… Hanna is engaged but, surprisingly, feelings and passion are lacking in the duty-filled nuptials. She is definitely not interested in celebrating at a bachelorette party on a working ranch, though perhaps she could get in some reading time. (One point in the plus column for Hanna right there!) Though… cowboys, lady, cowboys! And when Logan catches her eye, and vice versa, it seems desire is going to be part of the weekend after all…

I struggled with this story and I’m not sure why. All the elements were there with a heroine who seemed to be stuck between a rock and a hard place and a hero who wanted to rescue her. Again.

“I don’t want you to owe me.”
“Tough…. The way I figure it, I owe you about, oh, fifty years or so of utter devotion.”

They had some history with Logan admiring her from afar for years. When he realizes engaged is not married, that opens the door for what follows. There was desire and complications aplenty and, not to belabor the point, but COWBOYS! I cannot stress that enough because cowboys make everything in life that much better.

I wish I could put my finger on what exactly didn’t work for me. Maybe it was the mood I was in or the cowboys glistening with glitter rather than sun-soaked sweat… Hmm… I will ponder that for a while and definitely give this series another try because, well, you know… cowboys. ~ Diane, 3.5 stars

If you are looking for a feel good, happily ever after, second chance, with a good bit of titillating heat then STUD FOR HIRE by Sabrina York will definitely fit the bill.

Hanna Stevens is going to marry someone she has no love for but will do so to help her father keep the ranch. Her sister has other plans as she takes her and some other friends for a bachelorette weekend at the Double S. Ranch. This is a special ranch ... not a completely working ranch and not a dude ranch. Well, it is full of dude's but they are male cowboy strippers. Maybe just what Hanna really needs!

Logan Landry has been in love with Hanna since high school and having lost a bet with one of the owners of the Double S he finds himself “working” on that weekend. Well one things leads to another and neither of their lives will never be the same.

I enjoyed watching two people find each other, and I also liked seeing Hanna become the confident, creative woman that her fiancé had been holding down. His brothers were hilarious and frustrating (at least for Logan and Hanna). I can't wait to get my hands on another of Sabrina York's “Stripped Down” series. There might be a couple of slightly implausible situations (and that's probably due to my need for details and explanations) but these in no way ruins a really, really fun read.

Wish there were more options then a five star review. This book hit a home run. I was sucked into this book for two days. Sabrina is an excellent writer that knows how to write stories that we all could relate in some way. She wrote a story in which love, obsession and power were viewed from two different perspective one of love and the other of control. It was a powerful book which showed signs of love and very scary out how a men could go above and beyond for be cruel and obsessive. I love the chemistry between Logan and Hanna. They both deserved each other. The love between them was powerful and unstoppable. Was glad that Zack received what he deserved. He was a selfish bully who felt that money gave him power over the town. I learned from this story that women should stand up for themselves. Don't let a man run your life. Please read and beware that you will be feeling the hot fire between Logan and Hanna.

REVIEW: 3.75 stars---STUD FOR HIRE is the first full length in Sabrina York’s adult, contemporary STRIPPED DOWN romance series. This is rancher/architect Logan Landry, and Hanna Stevens’ story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Hanna and Logan) STUD FOR HIRE focuses on the events at the Double S Ranch. When Cody Silver needed a quick influx of cash he portioned off part of his business into a ‘stud ranch’ catering to bachelorette parties and weekend celebrations. When Hanna’s sister books the ranch for the weekend, Hanna has no idea she is about to meet her past and her future in the guise of Logan Landry-a man she believes is a gigolo for hire, and the man who will give Hanna one final weekend of pleasure before marrying a man she does not love. What ensues is the building relationship between Hanna and Logan, and the revelation about Logan’s connection to Hanna’s past.

Hanna is an artist; a painter, and a reluctant bride whose family has fallen onto hard times and our heroine has had to compromise about the future to keep her family home and farm together. Logan is a man who has been in love with Hanna Stevens since high school but Hanna was out of our hero’s proverbial ‘league’. Throughout the story line Logan offers up to Hanna anything she wants and needs including a night of passion involving some Dom/sub play. The $ex scenes are provocative and seductive without the over the top graphic sexual language and text. The sexual attraction is palpable; the chemistry is electric.

We are introduced to a number of secondary and supporting characters including Hanna’s sister Sidney, and her friends Porsche and Amy, as well as Logan’s brothers Ben, Brandon and Rafe who make life difficult for Hanna and Logan ensuring there is never any privacy or time alone. The brothers’ lighthearted tease is welcome and refreshing. Crystal and Ford from Sabrina York’s The Real McCoy (Cowboy 12 Pack anthology 2015) make a cameo appearance, along with Cade and Lisa (Come Hell or High Water-12 Alarm Cowboy Anthology). Hanna’s ‘fiance’ Zack and his sister Tibby are the requisite evil who intend to make life miserable for everyone involved. Brandon and Porsche’s story line is next in Cowboy to Command.

STUD FOR HIRE has a little bit of everything: love, romance, sex, humor, suspense, mystery and cowboys. The premise is entertaining and enjoyable; the characters are heartwarming, inspiring and passionate; the romance is fated by circumstance and time. Sabrina York’s STRIPPED DOWN series will satisfy the romantic heart in all of us.

Who else loves hot cowboys stories? I see a whole lot of virtual hands raising. You really must join me then for a trip to Double S Ranch. Sabrina York has created yet another completely engrossing story that is hot, steamy, suspenseful, and heart warming. Honestly Stud for Hire is a story that is nearly impossible to put down.

Hanna Stevens is that wholesome sweet, innocent girl that will do anything and I do mean anything for her family. She's smart, has a great personality and has a few moves that throw a certain guy for a loop. She's set to marry a man that she doesn't love just to save the family's home. I bonded with Hanna quickly. She's one of those characters that you just know is going to be a new friend when you start the book.

Logan Landry finds himself full filling the bet he lost with one of the brothers at the Double S Ranch on the same weekend Hanna's sister booked for Hanna's bachelorette party. He has no idea he is about to see the girl he has secretly loved since high school.

When Logan and Hanna's eyes meet there is instantly a sizzling connection. When spend some time together on the hay ride it's amazing the bales didn't burst into flames from their combustible attraction. When they give into the sizzling attraction things get HOT and I do mean HOT quickly. Grab your cold drink and find a comfy spot for this book because your going to need it.

Then there is Zach, the fiancee. I'll just say that Zach is one of those people that needs a lesson in humanity, kindness, and a serious butt kicking. I don't want to give too much away so I'll stop there.

There is a few very intense moments that left me holding my breathe and flipping the pages as quickly as possible to see what was going to happen next.

Overall, if you haven't guessed it yet I LOVED this book. Sabrina York is one of my very favorite authors and her books are always a must read. Trust me when I say Stud for Hire is certainly a must read for my fellow Sabrina York fans. If you love a hot and steamy cowboy story and you haven't read Ms. York's work yet, grab this one! I don't think you will be disappointed I know I certainly was not.

Stud for Hire is part of the Stripped Down Series. It is the first book in the series and I know I already can not wait for book two. I can not wait to see what interesting and intriguing twist Ms. York has in store for us next.

I was given the opportunity to read this great book so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Stud for Hire.

*ARC from the author and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*

Hanna Stevens is unhappy to find that her sister Sydney has planned her weekend-long bachelorette party at a stud ranch. She's more unhappy that her future sister-in-law Tibby has invited herself along for the weekend. Hanna's upcoming wedding to Zack Pucey is not something she's looking forward to, mainly because she is not in love with her fiancee. She only agreed to marry Zack because he will take care of the debt that her father has gotten into, thus saving her house, and keeping her dementia addled mother from going into a state home.
Logan Wilder is only at his friend Cody's stud ranch because he lost his hand at poker. Logan assumed that his weekend duties would include everything that a normal ranch hand does. Being ogled by squealing, drunk women was not on his list of normal ranch hand duties. But when Hanna steps off the bus to start her weekend, Logan agrees to stay. Hanna is his reason for living. Always has been, always will be.
Hanna wants this last weekend to fulfill her ultimate fantasies. But with her sister-in-law constantly looming around, Hanna is afraid to do anything untoward. Until Logan makes her an offer she can't refuse. Then, all bets are off as Hanna finally gives in to her fantasies. Too bad Hanna has no recollection of Logan from high school.
This book got off to a slow start, but once the reader gets into the story, it picks up steam. And quite a lot of steam! The chemistry between Hanna and Logan is off the charts.
My only complaint is Hanna's lack of awareness. You get from page one that the man she's marrying is not the man he portrays to her. You also know that there was an incident between the pair back in high school, but like Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the Wind, Hanna will deal with it tomorrow. She's either way too naive or completely blind to Zack's abusive, controlling manner. He was against her going to the Sorbonne for college (THE Sorbonne!!). He belittles her paintings as nothing more than a hobby, not the profession she's chosen, and he gets angry when she talks to other people. However, I did like that by the end, she has grown wiser to her fiancee's machinations, and followed her heart.
As for Logan, where can I find one of him?

Hotness Rating a very spicy 3 out of 5

Some books just leave you drained (in a good way) when you are done reading them. Stud for Hire does just this. The story is smartly written, the characters are well developed which made me so much more invested in the outcome than I may have been if everyone was just written light and fluffy and the sex scenes are sizzling. This book just sucked me in and wouldn't let me go. If you've ever read a book written by Sabrina York you know that her characters all have one thing in common witty, sarcastic thoughts and comments. I seriously live for her books. Every time I pick up a new one my first thought is how I always forget how much I love the dialogue in her books. Stud for Hire and Logan specifically deliver in a big way.

Logan owes his friend after losing in poker. So, when said friend calls him up and says he needs his help at the ranch for the weekend Logan being the good cowboy that he is sees this as the perfect way to pay off his debt. Little does he realize his friend is wanting different services than Logan had expected to provide. You see Cody and his brother Cade turned their once working ranch into a "stud" ranch for horny bachelorettes, divorcees and women wanting a wild weekend. Once Logan gleans on to what the plan is he wants no part of it. Or at least he doesn't until he sees Hannah.

Hannah is humoring her sister and agreeing to this farewell to your freedom weekend since she's soon to be married. It's not exactly a love match, but Zach has agreed to save her family from financial ruin if they marry and he's such a nice guy Hannah doesn't feel like it's too much of a sacrifice for her family. Well, not too much of a sacrifice until Logan comes crashing into her life and leaves her to question everything that she thought she knew to be true.

I so enjoyed seeing this couple find each other and explore all of the attraction that they have. The more Hannah discovered her internal strength and started to exercise it the more and more that I loved her and was pulling for her. Logan had my heart from the very beginning. I have high hopes for the Stripped Down series and can't wait to read more.

This book was provided to me in exchange for my honest review.

Hannah´s on her bachelorette hoopla, a weekend at the stud farm Double S, filled with hot cowboys and wild entertainment, when she meets Logan. With a marriage out of need, not want, waiting around the corner, how is she to resist the temptation of a fling before she gets locked down?
Logan lost a bet with his friend, and now he has to repay with a weekend working at his farm. He didn´t expect to be the eyecandy, though.
Contemporary romance, suspense, smutty fluff and hot Cowboys in an awesome combo.
Can´t wait to see more from this series!

I received an ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review and here it is: 4.5 stars.

Stud for Hire is the first novel in Sabrina York's Stripped Down series, and she certainly sets the series off to a very good start--who wouldn't enjoy a novel filled with sexy cowboys--although the only actual cowboy in this novel is the hero, Logan Landry. The others are all male strippers, hired by Cody and Cade, two brothers who have turned their Double Silver ranch into the Double Stud ranch, a sexy dude ranch catering to women and their cowboy fantasies. Logan is not amused to be spending the weekend working there, and even less amused when told he'll be required to be an active participant in the festivities, which include hunky hayrides, giving lap dances, stripping and being part of a hot cowboy auction, but he lost a poker bet and this is his chance to pay off his debt. He doesn't think much of the circumstance his losing bet brought him to, but that all changes when a busload of newly arriving bachelorette party guests arrive for the weekend and Hanna Stevens gets off the bus.

Hanna's sister, Sidney, her maid of honor, has had a a crush on Cody since high school, and chose this location to get closer to the commitment-phobic Cody. She's fun and outgoing and thought this would be a great place to get her sister to loosen up and have some fun, but this set-up is something Hanna wants no part of and she's in no mood to celebrate her upcoming nuptials. Hanna is engaged to marry Zach Pucey, for one reason, and it isn't for love. Zach is the spoiled son of the wealthy banking family which practically owns her small town and is used to getting whatever he wants. What he wants is Hanna, he's been after her since high school, and Hanna has been turning him down the entire time, until he tells her that her family is about to lose their home due to her father's bad investments and the high cost of her mother's medical treatments for dementia. Zach tells her that he'll pay off the debts and save her family home as a wedding gift to her, if she agrees to marry him. Caught between a rock and a hard place, she grudgingly agrees to his proposal to save her family from homelessness, and when she steps off the bus and is immediately sexually aroused at the mere sight of hunky Logan Landry, she makes the decision to participate in the weekend festivities, seeing it as her last chance to explore her secret kinky fantasy with this gorgeous stud for hire before entering into a loveless marriage. She'll have to be careful though, because Zach's sister, Tibby, is one of the guests, and Hanna knows that she'd better be discreet because Tibby would just love to rat her out to her controlling, possessive brother.

There's a lot more to this story than meets the eye, because although Hanna doesn't recognize Logan, he certainly recognizes her--she's the grown-up version of the girl he crushed on all through high school, when he was the skinny, geeky, poor kid who the rich kids bullied, and although Hanna was scarcely aware of his existence back then, he was certainly aware of her. That's as much of the story as I'll give away since I hate spoilers.

Once again, Sabrina York has kicked off what promises to be another amazingly sexy, romantic and suspenseful series, and has introduced us to a cast of interesting characters who will be featured in upcoming installments, and I, for one, can't wait to read them.

A ‘never-lose’ poker hand did, in fact lose, and Logan is now spending a weekend as a ranch-hand at his best friend’s place. Only problem is the ranch is less ‘working cattle’ than stud farm, complete with bachelorette parties, male strippers and very few rustlers.

Hanna is the bride to be, surprised with a weekend getaway by her very daring sister. Born with a responsible gene in overdrive, she’s keeping a huge secret that no one suspects. Oh – that’s she’s not entirely a blushing bride full of excitement and love isn’t the secret. Nor is it a secret that her future sister-in-law is going to be a big thorn in everyone’s side. But she can do this, survive the weekend in her room, reading, ignoring the overly obvious sexuality of the strippers. Until she spots him.

Logan has dreamed of Hanna since high school, she’s the real reason he left Snake Gully, an he’s never stopped loving her. Spotting Hanna, all of his fantasies seem to have come true. He knows that Hanna is all he wants, and he’s just got to get her to see it too. When he realizes that Hanna, HIS Hanna, is about to marry the single most despicable man on the planet to pay off her father’s debts, he’s determined to give Hanna something she hasn’t had since one night her senior year….choices.

As with all of York’s stories – the connection between Hanna and Logan is palpable and beyond steamy. What was, for Hanna, her last shot at feeling real passion becomes more, so much more, as Logan never seeks to dominate her anywhere but in their sexual play. With a full complement of secondary characters just ripe for their own stories, a house full of family that would do anything for Logan, and the freedom and opportunity to fully exist in her art, the story races forward through hello through forever. Another wonderful story from York that is sure to make everyone look at their cowboys a bit differently.

Hanna and Logan.

Logan has been in love with Hanna since high school. He saved her from almost being raped by the town's poor little rich bully and went through a really rough time afterwards. Hanna didn't remember it had been him, she was so traumatized. Fast forward to Hanna's bachelorette party. Her sister lines up a weekend at a dude ranch...which included some hot strippers. Logan recognized Hanna right away. Serious sparks flew, consequences ensued, feelings were hurt, lives were changed and I feared for a Happily Ever Ever actually coming about.

I shouldn't have worried. Sabrina York sucked me into the story and I laughed and cried along with the characters until the very last word. It was awesome! She's not new to me and I love her writing. I look forward to the next one!

Stud for Hire is a funny, sexy, fast paced read with a little mystery thrown in. I LOVED it!
Sabrina York knows how to write the perfect, sexy stud and the sweet woman that captures his heart.

Zack has been in love with Hanna since high school and she has no idea he exists. While at the Double Stud Ranch Zack spots Hanna in the group of women who have come to celebrate Hanna's last weekend of freedom before she gets married. But, Zack doesn't know it's Hanna's bachelorrett party. What happens next is steamy and loads of fun until, Hanna's fiancee shows up and it all hits the fan.

You'll have to pick up your copy to find out how it all turns out and it won't disappoint! Can't wait to read Cowboy's Command, the next book in this great series.

“I want you in my life. I want you in my bed. I want you across the table from me every night at supper, and I want you holding my hand when I take my last breath…but only if that’s what you want.”

“I want.”

Welcome to the Double S ranch, which is now known as the Double Stud--a dude ranch for chicks. Logan Landry thought for sure he had the winning hand playing poker with his longtime friend Cody, but when he loses, he’s forced to work a weekend as a ranch hand at the Double S. But not the type of work he thought—he’s gotta join the strippers in showing the ladies attending the bachelorette party a good time. Grumbling and complaining about his loss, but not one to welch on a bet, Logan agrees. Hanna Stevens has no idea why she’s agreed to a weekend bachelorette party at the Double Stud, but since she’s forced to marry the town jerk to save her family’s ranch, she figures what the hell. Logan and Hanna each have secrets they don’t want the other to know, but can’t stop their attraction to each other. Logan is determined to show Hanna he can be her Stud for Hire if she will give him the chance.

Yee Haw! Sabrina York’s newest cowboy series is filled with romance, mystery and enough twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages and be anxious for the next installment! Highly recommend!

DNF @ 48%

Unfortunately, this book didn't work for me. I thought it would be a fun romp, but it turned out to have quite a bit of drama when the actual premise was revealed. It seemed to me that there had to be another way for Hanna to save her father's ranch other than to marry a man she didn't love.

I had trouble connecting with both of the main characters because of all the deception involved. Despite the fact that it's just an initial hookup, Hanna conceals her engagement from Logan. In turn, Logan conceals the fact that he and Hanna knew each other back in high school. Lastly, there's the issue of cheating. Even though Hanna doesn't love her fiancé, the fact is she's still engaged when she hooks up with Logan. The whole arrangement made me uncomfortable.

There are also some light BDSM elements, which I wasn't expecting and which distracted from the relationship development for me because of the aforementioned lying and trust issues.

Lastly, the writing itself was curious because the author used a lot of words that, to me, were more appropriate for a historical rather than a contemporary book.

All in all, this was a disjointed story that I struggled to continue reading and ultimately didn't finish.

I received an advance copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my review.

#1 in the Stripped Down romance series

Thanks to NetGalley who provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I had my doubts about this one at first since it's based at a ranch that's been converted to a sort of party-central location for bachelorette parties, etc., hiring male strippers as "ranchers." But Logan is a real rancher who has lost a poker bet and has been asked by his friend Cody to fill in. Hanna is the partying bride, although she's not happy about her upcoming wedding to the town bully. When she and Logan meet, it's instalove, and she decides, against her normal nature, to have a final fling before the wedding. The reader finds out that there's actually more to the story. Logan has a history with fiancé Zack (as well as Hanna herself), so there's more to him than meets the eye. Hanna's story is also a little meatier than usual, with financial problems and family obligations. I loved the chemistry between Logan and Hanna, but I was especially drawn to the family closeness on both sides. Hanna has a good relationship with her dad and sister, while Logan is part of a big and extremely close family. York does a good job revealing the couple's history, little by little, as well as showing us Zack's real personality. Good buildup with no downtime. I will definitely read more from this author.

I admit, the cover is what prompted me to pick up the book. I was dazzled by the sexy cowboy with amazing abs. The synopsis had me a bit worried because I have no tolerance for cheater books, but the circumstances surrounding Hanna’s engagement and “relationship” with Zach (or lack thereof) eased my fears. I can’t explain it without giving away spoilers, but I certainly wouldn’t classify this as a “cheater book.”

I had some preconceived notions that this was just going to be a superficial book about a “Magic Mike”-style ranch for horny cowgirls. What I discovered was a genuine love story with a strong and loyal hero, a heroine in danger and an evil villain that wants to trap and oppress the beautifully talented heroine. What’s unique about this fairytale is that the hero doesn’t just want to save the heroine, but to give her the freedom to become the woman she wants and deserves to be, supporting her dreams and her happiness.

Logan is my new book boyfriend! He’s kind, loyal, strong and he will do anything to make sure the woman he loves is safe, protected, loved and happy. I fell in love with him right alongside Hanna. Their story will definitely tug at your heartstrings!

What I also love about this book was the family aspect. Hanna loves her family and would do anything for them. And Logan has a big, loud and loving family with three sexy, mischievous brothers who will no doubt be breaking hearts throughout the series.

STUD FOR HIRE is a delightful read full of humor, strength and love. Don’t let the title fool you. This story is anything but superficial. It’s a book where dreams come true, good trumps evil, and yes, where oily-muscled cowboys tantalize and titillate…and where love conquers all.

Stud for Hire was a big surprise for me! It was very sweet and emotional, yet hot and sexy!! Either way, it's a great beginning of a new series!!!

Cody and Cade inherit the Double S ranch. They left the name of it as Double S, but it now stands for Double Stud. It's a dude ranch that females visit for various events.

Hanna's sister, Sidney throws a bachelorette party for her and the location is none other than the Double S for a week! Hanna isn't thrilled about it, but holy smokes the hot guys that work there, especially one of them! She'll just enjoy the eye candy while all her party members are having fun with cowboy strippers. Hanna is engaged to Zack, because he is the president of the local bank and offered to save her father's ranch if she married him.

Logan is best friends with Cody and unfortunately lost a bet. His payoff was to come work the bachelorette party. Logan is not happy! Until he sees "her"! His high school crush and the woman he's been in love with since then....Hanna. This week just got better! Hanna has no idea the sacrifices Logan made for her. Heck, she doesn't even know who he is.

Zach, Hanna's fiance...well, he's just an evil man!!

Can't wait to read Cowboy on Command, which is the next installment of this series! Unfortunately, it doesn't come out until October!!

This whole story was very well written!! Loved the scenario, the characters, the humor, the twists and turns, the sexy parts and the "realism" of the whole book!! I was captivated from the first page and actually read it all in one day, it was that good!! Sabrina York has the ability to make you feel like you are within that story, which is amazing!!

There was nothing I didn't LOVE about this book! It was everything I hoped and more! Hot Hot Cowboys at a ranch that caters to wild women weekends! Yes please! Add to that an incredible love story with a few good subplots and you have the book that will steam you up, give you some suspenseful angst and happy tears! A book you won't be able to put down as you devour every written word!

Hanna has always been the good girl. Back with her highs school boyfriend and engaged, she finds herself at her bachelorette party at the Double S Ranch. Which is a ranch full of hot cowboy strippers. Resigned to get through the weekend and on to her lack luster marriage, she thinks this is her life, and what must be done to save her family's ranch. Then she meets him. One look and she is hooked! Who knew a stranger could do that to you!

Logan was not a regular employee of the ranch. He was there only because he lost a bet to his best friend and ranch owner Cody. Something he was not happy about until he saw her. His Hanna.

Getting both POVs really made this book. The transitions flowed, and I loved getting inside the minds of both Hanna and Logan. There was so much more to this story then I ever expected! More than giving us a great story that has a little bit of everything, Sabrina York knows how to write the perfect man...no better...perfect cowboy! So so happy this is a series! I need more!

Hannah has stopped believing in passion and love ever after and has decided to get married and settle for a home, husband and children with Zach. Hannah’s sister has planned a bachelorette party weekend at the Double S. Ranch where she has her first spark of passion in a long time when she see one of the “stud ranch cowboys”. She locks eyes with Logan and she’s unexpectedly overwhelmed by the feeling she’s always craved and never experienced. Logan helps out sometimes with the actually working of the ranch, but now his friend has talked him into actually being one of the “studs” for the weekend. He finally agrees when he see Hannah. He’s had a crush on her since back in school where she was the rich girl out of his reach. Hannah does not remember Logan from high school, but he sure remembers her. Hannah realizes Zack has become too possessive, he shows signs of love and beyond for be cruel and obsessive especially when he turns into a real bully when he show his true character and thinks his money gives him power over the town and Hannah. Will the ill-fated weekend change Hannah’s mind about marring Zack now that she knows there is a real possibility for real passion and love?

When Logan finds out the girl he's always loved is getting married and having her bachelorette party at his friend's Dude Ranch, he takes the chance to spend some time with her and hopefully change her mind. Their reunion is filled with a serious walk down memory lane. As comic relief, her friends are having a great time getting up close and personal with the Studs at the Ranch. The story then moves past the ranch in to the future, which includes a lot of action. Logan and his brothers are men of honor and I look forward to their tales, too. The connection between Logan and Hannah is real as he builds her up and supports her dreams. An enjoyable contemporary romance with romping cowboys.

Will Hanna marry for security or will she follow her heart?

Don't let my rating deter you from reading this book, it wasn't bad at all, but sadly it really was just okay for me.

Hanna's moral compass was a little mislaid in my eyes and Logan ran hot and cold, from a stuttering, shy man to spanking extraordinaire in the span of a minute. I needed more to believe there were real feelings blooming between them, not just a long-time crush fulfilled or one last fling before marrying out of supposed obligation.

Logan's brothers kind of saved the day and kept me from DNF-ing it.

Premise was good. Vocabulary at times had me looking up things. Writing just ok. Characters slightly irritating. Overall it just wasn't my type of book. Full review coming.

Great New Series

Sabrina York writes art; I have never read a bad book of hers. I love this new series and this first one was brilliant! I'll be reading the entirety of this series for sure! The chemistry between Hanna and Logan is both enchanting and endearing. In addition, she creates such infuriating villains that I'm certain she carves them from the sulfurous soil from that infamous "special place in Hell". Zach was so evil that I fantasized his balls being shanked off with a dull shiv! Visceral reactions like mine are sure proof of powerful storycrafting.

The constant interruptions by side characters got on my nerve. The book would've been better if it had been shorter.

This was one hot book!! It was fun to watch Logan and Hanna reconnect.

I really liked Hanna in this book. She wasn't portrayed as mean or anything, however I did feel really bad for Logan a few times. Logan was there for Hanna during one of the worst days of her life and she doesn't remember him. Granted he has changed, but he has been in love with her ever since and for Hanna to not remember him, it hurt my heart.

I thought it was cute that since she doesn't remember him and thinks he is a stud for hire, he goes along with it. Just so he can hold her and love her the way he always dreamed of.

Once they started seeing each other, I loved watching Logan be there for Hanna in a way I don't think anyone ever has especially with her passion for painting.

This is book 1 in the Stripped Down series and I loved it.

The book is about Hanna Stevens who is marrying a man she does not even like in order to save her family ranch by offering financial support. So for her bachelorette party, her sister arranges for them to go to a Stud farm so that Hanna can let her hair down before she marries Zack.

Logan was playing poker with his best friend and he lost so now he has to work a weekend at the Double S Ranch, Logan thinks that he will try to blend into the back ground because he really is not into all that goes on with the parties until he sees her - Hanna - the girl he loved at school get off the bus with the other women.

Hanna does not want to partake in any of the games at the ranch and has ideas of trying to stay hidden in her room but her sister has other plans. Hanna does not recognise Logan when she bumps into him but their is instant molten attraction between them so when he gives her a choice to meet him in the barn later, she thinks what the hell and does, she has to be careful with everything she does though as her fiance's sister is part of the group she is with.

Logan shows Hanna that she can make her own choices but is upset when he finds out that she is the hen of the group and when he finds out who she is marrying and why - the fire ignites because it was because of Hanna's fiance Zack that Logan had to leave Snake Gully all them years ago.

This story is well written and you are drawn into the pages and willing Logan and Hanna to their happy ending, I was not sure if it would or could happen and you will realize as you read the book as to why I say this but I do not want to give any spoilers away but I must say that Sabrina can weave a wonderful story that keeps you gripped in its pages.

I loved this book and I will be reading the others in this series.
