Hinduism In Pictures by Shalu Sharma is the latest in her anthology about Hindi society and culture, and as always, it is both highly informative and visually attractive. One of the author's signature features is the use of colorful pictures to enhance the high points of her dissertations. In this case, it is greatly helpful as children can copy the illustrations in making their own Hindi art. This is not only a great thing for families in learning about the Hindi culture but as a how-to manual for art students everywhere. For those eager to learn more about foreign cultures and India in particular, this is a worthy addition to your library.

I am always amazed by a book by Shalu Sharma, this informative book bot only has fascinating pictures but so many interesting facts. I feel privileged to take a peek into Hinduism through this author and am astounded by the new things I learned. What a terrific journey the author takes readers on as they learn about temples, people, beliefs and more in this must have book chalk full of great information and beautiful pictures.

I believe.

This book is very simple and nice to read to explain Hindu culture to children. I like that it has pictures in it, making it feel as if we are there experiencing the rituals and customs in person. I am very happy that there is a recommendation of more books given at the end of this one. Makes me feel proud to be a Hindu. Yay.
