Sometimes love stings…

Still recovering from the sting of letting the unfaithful Steven Benson slip through her fingers, wayward husband wrangler Jenna Ray finds herself facing her fear of needles to haul wandering tattoo artist, Carl Ratson, back to his family. Her focus gets diverted, however, when she runs into Steven’s hot twin brother, Thad. Before she knows it, Jenna is sampling Thad’s kisses and trying to keep her head on straight enough to wrangle Carl without getting pricked by his needle.

About the author

Kayla Dawn Thomas

Kayla grew up on an Idaho cattle ranch, but now calls the wheat fields of the Washington Palouse home with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She writes romance, chick lit, and now romantic suspense. Her rural roots inspire her writing, and she enjoys giving the world a little taste of a life most folks have never experienced. A rabid reader, when Kayla isn’t writing, ushering dogs in and out of the house, or taking care of the humans in her family, you can find her in a comfy spot with a book or an e-reader in her hands.

Kayla is a really good writer. I recommend her series of Jenna short stories to fans of Stephanie Plum.

I'm afraid I laughed enough to be considered rude. But really, we've all had those days where nothing at all goes right and the universe is out to get us. I also share Jenna's needle phobia, so I just couldn't help laughing at her. It was all with sympathy, honestly. I love Jenna because she is so far from perfect, like all of us, but gives her clients her best efforts even in the face of personal disaster. There's this dress...you should read it for yourself, but there's no doubt this dress is a personal disaster. I think I liked this story even better than the first one, and I'll certainly read the next one. This is series is fun!

I enjoyed the first in this series and I was expecting the same from this book. There were some laugh-out-loud moments in this book that were just over the top!
