Nick had joined them, crossing the room to the bed and sitting propped up against the headboard. “I was telling Gavin,” he began, reaching into the nightstand. “That considering this was something new for the three of us, maybe we should do something a little bit different.”
Stella’s stomach tensed, her heart fluttering as she waited for him to explain. What could something different be? Nick didn’t respond right away and Gavin pulled her to her feet so that she was standing beside the bed. “Close your eyes,” Gavin whispered and Stella complied, frowning when she felt him move away.
It was less than a minute before she felt a cool, silky fabric drift over her shoulder and along the back of her neck. A blindfold.
Once the blindfold had been secured, Gavin pressed a kiss to her shoulder and took her hand as he spoke softly against her ear. “Now you just have to relax and feel. No thinking about anything else.”
