Melodie knew there was something weird about the pictures on the walls. But she didn’t expect to find her wayward aunt’s ghost hiding in them — that woman has a lot to answer for.
And quickly. The storm might have passed, but now her mum is acting strangely, Blake is going missing and things are going bump in the night.
When a dark presence threatens her life, Melodie thinks she knows who it is -- someone she thought she’d never have to deal with ever again.
Little does she know, that's the least of her problems.
Ghost House is the second book in the Hidden Bay series featuring Melodie and her ghostly gifts. There was no real advancement of the character and the plot just did not grab my attention. Ghost stories, especially ones with vengeful or trickster ghosts, are not really of interest to me and this book was no different. If there is a third book, which the cliffhanger ending suggests, I will not go out of my way to read it.
Melody continues to learn about her powers and is able to talk with the ghosts now. Maeve is a ghost and has befriended Melody.
Blake has grown up in Hidden Bay, is dating Melody and has been possessed by a spirit.
Melody is becoming more comfortable with her gift and has set out to help all the spirits she can.
Julia has begun dabbling in witchcraft. Melody is frightened Julia will end up abusing the spells as Aunt Maggie did.
Discovering and learning how to use her gift is helping Melody find out who she really is. It is both thrilling and frightening. Will Melody continue on her journey or give up? How can she possibly figure it all out?
Make sure you buckle your seat belt as you continue on Melody's journey
