The PRISM(tm) Weight Loss Program, founded in 1990, has helped more than 60,000 people transform their eating behaviors with a sensible, lifestyle-change approach. That approach is now available in The Prism Weight Loss Program, by bestselling author Karen Kingsbury and Prism cofounder Toni Vogt. The book shows readers how to not just tame the monster of food addiction, but destroy it through simple eating strategies and biblical principles. It includes testimonials, descriptions of the authors' personal struggles with food addiction and their ultimate success, details of the program, and a recipe section that will help readers become the people God created them to be.
Karen Kingsbury, #1 New York Times bestselling novelist, is America’s favorite inspirational storyteller, with more than twenty-five million copies of her award-winning books in print. Her last dozen titles have topped bestseller lists and many of her novels are under development with Hallmark Films and as major motion pictures. Her Baxter Family books are being developed into a TV series slated for major network viewing sometime in the next year. Karen is also an adjunct professor of writing at Liberty University. In 2001 she and her husband, Don, adopted three boys from Haiti, doubling their family in a matter of months. Today the couple has joined the ranks of empty nesters, living in Tennessee near five of their adult children.
Kingsbury's overview of the Prism Weight Loss Program is really inspiring. Potential readers should note that the full program is not in the book. I bought my workbooks on ebay and lost 60 lbs, but the workbooks are currently out of print. I would like to republish them if we can get the permissions from Toni Vogt's family, so everyone inspired by Karen Kingsbury's book has access to the support of the daily reading, optional scriptures, food guidelines that change every six weeks, etc without paying $80 for each of the four workbooks as they become available on Ebay, Abebooks, etc. Email threekingspublishing at gmail if you can help get the rest of this program out there to help folks overcome the struggle.
