Derek Grant has been writing tales of the macabre since he first put pen to paper in the first grade. He has had several short stories published by such e-zines as Plots with Guns, Twilight Showcase and House of Pain.
As a longtime resident of the Canadian north, Derek always felt the region was seriously under-represented in the genre he loves. So he decided to remedy the situation, and Cold Fear (his first novel) is the result.
He now lives in Saskatchewan and plans to make the prairies frightening in the very near future.
