NYPD Nick gets caught up in a death struggle with a big time wannabe Yakuza and ends up in Osaka. Nick watches his NYPD partner killed by his nemesis and then has to adjust to a hierarchy and a culture he doesn't understand. The neon lights of Osaka and the hostess bars are radiating as Nick navigates his way through the seedy underworld. Friendships will be forged in blood and honour. A great movie as well with the legend Michael Douglas.
