As any autobiography, there's little revealing about the author. Disappointingly, there was little or no history of Pakhtoon people. I only read the book because it had the word "Pathan" in the title. The writer was mostly interested in telling us about his efforts to form a confederation between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Belonging to one of most influential families of Pakistan, the author is trying to hard to defend himself for all the actions he undertook as Minister and Ambassador for Pakistan government.
