Rising into strip club fame as the newest star attraction at a male revue club, former deejay Rique faces a difficult choice between his lucrative new lifestyle and settling down with the woman he loves, a situation that is further complicated by his profit-driven sister. Original.
My review for June Diary Of A 12inch Brotha Author: Dante Feenix Hello ladies I would like to introduce you to (Rick) Thicke Rique Da Ruler/ Dee Jay, that works at The Swingin Cable Company Strip Club. Rique and his sister blaque are partners at the club but his sister wants to add more than dancing on the program. This may cause more drama then they bargain for.
I really enjoyed this book, it was a page turner and kept me interested, I really didn't care for Rique's sister character at all, she cared more about the money more than she cared about what her brother wanted. Over all it was a good read. I gave the book 4 Stars Yolanda
Rique was a dj turned stripper who was blessed with a 12 inch d*ck. So you can only imagine all the women he has bed, but if he could have it his way he would give that all up for the one woman whom he loves........but she married. There is also a woman who is willing to give up everything she has to be with Rique........no matter what she has to do. I enjoyed this book, could have done without the poems but other than that it was a good read
Ofcourse the title caught my attention plus the the author's last name. But this book was really good. I expected Erotica but it was more of a thriller like Basic Instinct(the movie). With that in mind.. the main charecter, Rique, seemed more like a confused dude that just got caught up; rather than a player. This for me gave the book depth and made it more than just entertaining sex. Without giving away too much, I also liked the element of redemption in the book which i totally did not expect.
All in all a great unexpected read and I want to see more from this author! I definately recommend it.
I thought this was an excellent book. I will admit, the title got my attention but it was a good story, held my attention from beginning to end. Just goes to show you, sometimes family will treat you worse than strangers.
