In The Solid Rock Steele writes about doubt, fear, perseverance, determination and the importance of truth-telling. She gives opinions and methods by which people may make positive life changes and find a stronger footing in times of doubt. She highlights the common grounds on which folks stand at certain stages in their life and writes true stories as examples of tricky and uncomfortable surfaces (situations) to show when it might be time to move to steadier or higher ground. Stuff is a word she uses regularly throughout The Solid Rock. Part One is about her personal stuff. Part Two, is about stuff that might be germane to most folks. Hence, she calls Part Two: Your Stuff. Part Three, is called Our Stuff. She reminds folks that everyone deals with different versions of the same challenges. Here she shows that Our Stuff goes beyond just My Stuff and Your Stuff. It involves the stuff of other people. Parts Four, and Five are about personal beliefs, spiritual practices and access to self-help resources. In conclusion, she challenges you, reader, to literally evaluate the ground on which you stand. She poses engaging questions for your benefit. What a powerful spiritual workout you will receive from THE SOLID ROCK.
