I starated His Second Chance not really knowing what to expect
I really enjoyed reading His Second Chance and look forward to reading more from S.N. Garza. His Second Chance was full of drama, romance, heartache & more. It has a great balance bewteen sweetness, steaminess and tears. I was very pleasantly surprised by the depth of the characters, the stong emotional connection that's created. Each person stands out, has their own back story. Even the characters that I didn't like were believable, realistic. Maybe that's part of why I wanted to see them taken out back & taught a lesson, lol. My heart broke for Lennie. As a young girl to an adult, she's mistreated, ignored, hated for unknown reasons. Yet she is always there, taking care of her sister's child, answering to her parents, standing up to Beckett. Beckett. What a hot mess. He is charismatic, strong and still left me wanting to smack him throughout the book.

Okay I finished this book and all I want to do is pick it up and read it all over again! But I guess writing the review will have to be enough for the next 10 minutes.

Garza managed to do resonate something within me that I quite enjoyed. Her book is filled with passion, cuteness, faith, loss, confusion...just every emotion you can think of. And I enjoyed every last moment.

Throughout the book I wanted to punch some of the characters in the throat. You connect with the mains so quickly that you want to defend and/or yell at them at times. I became invested in this book within a matter of 20 pages. If I hadn't had to work I'm sure I would have finished it quicker as I didn't want to put it down.

Kellan never felt like she fit in or loved. Not at home or school. Her parents and sister Kayla always made he feel unloved or wanted. Beckett was different even thought he was dating her sister she had a crush on him. Years later tragedy stroked her family and it forces her to come back home. Beckett comes back into her life like a tornado. Beckett after staying away from home since the night his life changed forever, he is hit by the seeing Lennie, Kaylas little sister which she isn't little anymore. She sparks a fire in him and he is determined to never let that flame go out. So get ready for their story.

Second chances can be better than the first

Holy twists and turns, holy surprises, and holy hot talking Army man. Kellan and Beckett have known each other for along time and he was dating her sister Kayla. But life has a way of making you realize what could have been, what should have been and what can be.

I love a second chance at love story. Both people find each other just as they find redemption. Funny, sweet, tragic and romantic, this book is a must read!

3.5 stars. Good story and great characters. The only complaint I had was there's quite a lot of grammatical errors. Most were easy to overlook but a few I had to read over several rims to understand the sentence. Still enjoyable.
