Jasper (3yo) loved looking at the pictures in this book. Especially he liked the suckers on the octopuses arms. He didn't care much learning about them.

Photos are beautiful!

I just learned all kinds of new things about octopuses! I knew they had no bones, but I had no idea that they had sharp beaks and strong tounges that could break the shells of crabs and lobsters!!!

Young readers will be drawn to the color-saturated full-page photographs of amazing octopuses. The detailed and engaging photos, from the cover art to the final page, are arresting and will draw casual readers as well as those interested in knowing about cephalopods. The text is spare, but informative and covers the diet and life cycle of the elusive sea creature.
