Clementine Lorrie watched the train go by. It was a hot summer day in Texas, and all she could think to do was hope that something would happen to take her mind off her boredom. The most exciting thing she could think of did not involve cows or the farm back at her father's house. No indeed.
Brandi sighed. It was yet another day in this stupid town and another day in her boring life. As the daughter of a ranch owner, she didn’t have much to do. She was supposed to be a dainty woman, a woman who was supposed to cater to her future husband and do domestic duties, which included raising the kids. She didn’t want children, rather she thought of them as a bore. She would rather eat dirt than participate in that sort of thing, so she was definitely looking for a new way to get out of this. That’s why she was here, at the saloon and trying to figure out something new to do.
Naomi walked to where the rest of the models were meting up, feeling a bit nervous about this. As one of the few plus-sized models in the industry hat was actually making it, she felt a bit nervous when it came to other models. The ones who were a bit bigger were nice than the sticks that she sometimes had to associate with, but she didn’t really like the new concept that she was going to have to deal with.
“God damn it, again?” Marissa said. She hated that traffic was such a nightmare in this stupid town. The fact that she had to go about thirty minutes just to get to her college was insane. She never had this problem in the past, but apparently today was proving to be one of those days. She was already getting frustrated with life, and the fact that she was late once again. She knew that her teacher was going to be pissed, and she would just have to deal with the wrath of Benny her homeroom teacher.
Kiera walked down Pennsylvania Avenue thoughtfully. She had been hoping for something to write about. It had been a while since she used her creativity wisely and had been really looking forward to having some new experiences. She was kind of lost these days and just wanted somewhere to turn to.
Hal Green walked as far as his legs would carry him before collapsing in the grass. He was filled with sweat and couldn’t figure out what he was supposed to do from there. He had been completely tired of the way he was treated at the office and had needed an escape. He was the son of the man who had founded the corporation, and as such was usually treated with a reserved amount of respect, at least until his back was turned and everybody complained that he did nothing to earn his keep there.
