Since achieving his lifelong goal of becoming a Navy SEAL, Dane's life has been packed with action. He hasn't had the time or inclination to realize he wants and needs more. After seeing several of his closest friends fall in love with that someone special, he longs for something similar in his own life.

While on a mission hunting a chemical weapons terrorist, Dane runs into a woman who not only captivates him but fulfills his deepest desires. Unfortunately, the circumstances of her presence on the scene are more than a little suspicious. Damnably, Dane can't determine whose side she's actually on.

Marielle came to Germany for a short busman's holiday. She'd never expected to be running away from the very person she'd gone there to see--nor running into the arms of a man she's tempted to give herself to even knowing she can't keep him the way she wants to.

As the situation ping-pongs from bad to worse to utter desperation, lives--and hearts--are on the razor-edge between life and death.

This one was pretty okay. Way better than Hawk's book but not as good as Mason's. I liked the main characters well enough, but once again, I wish these people would actually get to know each other before they fall in love. I liked the premise of this one, it was nice to see the FL being useful (even if only a tiny bit). I find it a bit dodgy that in all of these they keep talking about how they wanted Tesla in the beginning. They also always do this thing where they mention that they've had a bucket load of women, but such claims are never 'proven (not sure if that's the right word). In fact, I feel like a lot of claims are made but never expanded on. For example, I'm pretty sure in the beginning of this one, an ex-fiance, or someone of that sort, was mentioned briefly but then never brought up again - It really confused me why the author would mention things that had no relevance later on in the book.

I was surprised that they didn't use the same shtick of "are you going to keep her" again in this one. I was expecting Shadow to be the one who was like "I'll have her if you don't" but that didn't occur. I would have loved a tad of jealously injected into things.

Overall, this book was pretty alright. I had a good enough time with it.

I am so glad that Dale decided to write a Seals Series. So far she is 3 for 3 when it comes to awesomeness in this series. Granted, 3 is probably my least favorite of the 3 so far but it was still fantastic!!! I will always have a soft spot for Mason (from the first book) and he's going to be tough to beat.

Not as much action for the heroine of this story, yes she's been shot at, attempted kidnappings, etc. but she seemed to get off easy compared to Tesla and Mia in book 1 and 2. Would I want to be in her shoes?? Hell no!! Well let me correct that...ending up with Dane? Oh yea! All the rest...not so much :)

Written as a multi pov. This is book 3 of the series but can be read as a stand alone. Would I recommend that??? UH NO! You need to be sure to read 1 and 2 before you read 3. Since the characters cross over from book 1 and 2, it's nice to have their back ground going into this book.

Love how the characters from the previous book play such a strong role in this book but do not take over the story. They play in intricate part in the development of the story. I do miss seeing Tesla and Mia in the stories, but then this is about the Seals, not the damsels in distress from the previous books. I'm happy to know that they all still have their HEA.

Great storyline, awesome concepts, great characters, engaging dialogue and good descriptive details.

All in all, another fanfreakintastic read.

Would I recommend this book? Yeppers!!

Would I read more from this author? Yeppers! (can not wait till number 4)

One of the worst things is when a reader really gets into a book, and then life happens, and it takes forever to get back to it. Great story, lots of fun turns. I mean how many times can a bad guy die? Really enjoying the series, can’t wait for Swede’s story (If life let’s me).

I can’t stop reading this series!

Dane is another member of the elite Special Operations SEAL Team. This team is tight and they work together flawlessly.

Dane and his team are in Germany tracking a member of a terrorist group. Marielle is in Germany to visit her old professor, Dr. Michaels, at his invitation, and combine it with a little vacation for herself. Things start going wrong when, on her first morning in her rented house, Marielle is surprised by a huge, muscular man dressed in all black hiding among the shadows and trees in her walled back yard. Just as quick, he is gone, over the fence and into the neighbors yard. Shortly thereafter, Marielle is visited by Dr. Michaels, from next door, and confronted by him with a gun. Turns out he invited her here to take her research away from her and give it to terrorists for a lot of money.

Escaping from Dr. Michaels and running next door where she saw the military man go, Marielle meets Dane. Dane and several of his SEAL team are at Dr. Michaels’ house trying to figure out how he disappeared and what he has to do with terrorists. Marielle learns that she is in danger as long as the terrorists want her research. After an attempt on Marielle’s life, Dane is convinced that Marielle needs protection and he is determined to be the man to protect her.

Dane’s fierce protectiveness is a huge clue that he is interested in Marielle and her response, though injured, is obvious as well. The Team give Dane a hard time but also the room to see if anything develops between the two. I love the comaradari among the SEAL Team members. They know what each other is thinking and how each will respond in any situation. With just a look or a series of bird calls, the team communicates with each other.

The Team’s focus is on neutralizing the threat of the terrorists attempting to obtain Mariell’s chemical research and using the chemical weapon against our country and the rest of the world. They are also committed to keeping Mariell safe and out of the hands of the enemy.

This story is so good that I couldn’t put it down. It keeps you anxiously awaiting for what’s going to happen next combined with several unexpected surprises that make this story even better! The Team gives Dane the requisite ribbing about another one of them finding their HEA! I wonder who will be next? I can’t wait to find out!

Marielle needed a break from her Ph.D. studies and caring for her mother so when her old professor, Dr. Michaels, invited her to visit him in Germany, she jumped at the chance. But when she saw a man in the trees in the backyard, who leaped over the fence like it was nothing, she knew it was not going to be a relaxing vacation. Dane and his team were in Germany to track a terrorist group who have plans to blow up the US. He is no sooner gone, when Dr. Michaels, comes over to “visit” and pulls a gun on her. He had only invited her to Germany to take her chemical research and sell it to terrorists. She escaped and ran to the SEALs for help.

All the men protected Marielle and they were all interested in her but Dane wanted her most, and her, him. When he went to Germany on a mission, Dane never expected to find such a perfect woman. But he was glad he did.

As all the stories in this series, this was full action and suspense. And the SEALs were so competent, and protective of Marielle that I was really impressed by them. While there was definite interest between Dane and Marielle, they kept their feelings under control until the mission was finished.

If you like action-packed books with SEALs, you should read this book.

Marielle thought she was going to visit a colleague who had at one time been her professor. She was looking forward to the discussions and wandering through the village where he lives.

Dane and his team were after a chemical weapons terrorist, as they were closing in Marielle exited the house that had been empty previously. In an unexpected occurrence he was spotted, but had no time to do anything about it.

Confronted by the man she was to visit, Marielle realizes that his motives were nefarious. Managing to escape, she runs where she believes she would find help. The house the strange man was heading toward.

Ascertaining that she isn't a threat, the guys find Marielle to be quite the asset, knowing the professor's password was a great help.

Master's the cat was a hoot and was actually quite 'knowledgable' too.

Unfortunately her knowledge of the professor and knowing he wanted her research has put Marielle in more danger than she realizes. Dane and the team need to keep her safe, and Dane has more than a little interest in her.

A tense, emotional, suspenseful, sometimes funny and definitely hot page turner.

SEALs of Honor Book 3 Dane by Dale Mayer is a suspenseful tale full of action and danger, drama and suspense and explosive situations but amongst it all there is a lot of laughs. The story is told from multiple points of view, so we get a great perspective of their motivations, and thought processes. I mean who does not love some hot alpha male SEALS who will do anything to keep the woman they make theirs safe. I must say Dale definitely puts these women through the ringer.

Marielle was excited to be in Germany for a break and talk shop with an old professor. What she found instead was a desperate man who wanted her to join him on the dark side. What she also found was a group of men who will protect her with their lives and one who lost his heart.

Dane and his team were on a mission to catch a bad guy who was a chemical weapons specialist turned bad. Some how he managed to evade them and what they found was a woman who was a target for the bad guys because of her accidental stumble onto something that was worth a lot of money. But can Dane and the team keep her safe?

Dane's story was fast and furious and love at first sight only the Dane didn't realize that when he first saw Marielle while he was on a mission. She soon becomes part of the mission unknowingly. She is sucked into espionage and kidnapping for a chemical discovery that she discovered completely by accident, the problem is, the bad guys want it as much as the good guys.

Dane just wants was two others in his team have found while Marielle does't thing she is worthy of him. She is a strong woman with a big brain and a heart that matches her intelligence. While Dane is a big handsome alpha SEAL who takes on the personal task of protecting her.

Fast past story with a few twists and turns and wonderful orange tabby cat who comes along for the ride.

Can't wait to get deeper into this series of hot alphas SEALS and the strong women who deserve their love and loyalty.

Dale is a SEAL and on a mission to capture a chemical weapons terrorist when he meets Marielle - but is she to be trusted or part of the same group? PhD student Marielle is on a short holiday to meet with a former professor when she finds herself thrown into a dangerous situation with fast moving events and only SEALs keeping her alive. They both find themselves drawn to each other - is this just a physical attraction or is this the forever that they have booth been waiting for?

This was a great story with so many twists and turns in the world of chemical research and international commercial espionage. I loved the way that were unsure of each other and then as they faced everything that was thrown at them they realised that they needed and wanted each other. Well written and a good read

Dane's story is as fast paced and exciting as the other books in the SEALs of Honor series. It is fun to keep meeting up with his team mates and getting to know them as well. When Dane and his fellow SEALs are sent to Germany on a mission, he doesn't expect to meet up with the graceful and beautiful Marielle. Despite their first meeting, when faced with danger Marielle realises that Dane is more dangerous than the threat facing her, but she instinctively knows that he will protect her. The story takes one on a race across the world and Marielle finds herself in a quandary as to why the terrorists want her so badly. As with the rest of Dale Mayer's books, this one is also easy on the romance but high in action. I read this story as part of the SEALS of Honor: Books 1-3 box set.

SEALS of Honor-Dane

This is a great action packed romantic addition to this SEALs of Honor series with Dane helping to keep Marielle, a scientist safe and falling in love with her starting in Germany. Her professor, Dr.Michael's was selling their research to a company to make chemicals to kill innocent people and the SEALs had to stop them. They were moving her safehouse to safehouse keeping her safe after they tried to kidnap her. It was exciting how they took down this evil man and the company he was going to sell their research to. Dane and Marielle professed their love to each other and another SEAL has found the love that makes their life complete and happy. I cannot wait to read the next amazing release in this series.

Okay, less kidnapping this time. Still there, but less lol. At least Dane learned from the mistakes of others and didn't leave his lady. Still some odd pot holes. Never discussed her necklace before it went missing or again after it was found. Was it ever returned? Weird that they misidentified a dead suspect as well known as Michaels. Where a lot of stories these days are too long, I feel like these need another 75-100 pages. They can be expanded on so much. I think I may just stick to the core group and once that's done, be done with the series. It's just getting repetitive but overall, I like the core series. Not sure how they get 30+ books out of it though lol.

I really enjoyed this book.
Marielle is a chemistry PhD student who goes on vacation to Germany to see one of her former professors, Dr Michaels. She "meets" Dane while out on the patio enjoying a cup of coffee. Dr Michaels attempts to recruit her for his company but she resists. So, he then attempts to kidnap her but she runs to Dane and his team for help. Thus begins a crazy turn of events around this woman.
Add in Masters, Dr Michaels cat who responds well to Shadow and it was a very enjoyable book.
It was neat to finally find out the story behind Swede's nickname.

Honesty for the Win

Dane is a Navy SEAL team member. His teams early morning raid of a home in Germany is a bust. But, instead he meets the lovely, honest, moral and smart chemist, Marielle. She's caught in the chaos her ex- professor drew her into. Intrigue, deadly chemical weapons and international corporate crime follow her despite her innocence. Dane is drawn to her in all her beauty and diligence. She becomes part of their mission, and his heart. Well concocted ending with love as he reward.

Marielle goes to Germany to visit a professor she had kept in contact with. Similar interest and to discuss her project. In which her world revolved around and nothing else. Like the first two books, she is kidnapped many times. Hospital and not wanting Dane to leave her alone, Wanting the cat, her necklace, wanting to go home, didn’t sound like a professional person.
Would like it to be more about the Seals instead of a damsel in trouble,

I enjoyed the narration of Michael Rahhal

Dane finds himself helping to keep Marielle, a scientist safe Germany. Her professor, Dr.Michael's was selling their research to a company to make chemicals to kill innocent people and the SEALs had to stop them. They were moving her safehouse to safehouse keeping her safe after they tried to kidnap her. Dane and Marielle find themselves falling for each other, in between gun shots and action .

Seal's of Honor: Dane

Ok - this is the second time I read this book. The first time was in the book bundle and now. It is still a FANTASTIC story! It always amazes me how these couples fall in love really fast. I certainly loved Masters. Marielle and Dane are an amazing couple together. As always, FANTASTIC job Dale! I would recommend this book.

Marielle is in Germany on holiday. At least that was what she thought. Dane and his team are in Germany on a mission. When Marielle comes running into where he is hiding, he knows he needs to get to the bottom of what is going on. Marielle is being hunted due to wanting her to finish the research she has been conducting and use it for evil purposes. Can Dane and his team keep her safe?

The storyline was fine. The writing & editing (or lack there of?!?!)? Oh my. This could’ve been a good book, it had lots of potential, but I ended up skimming most of it & cringing at what I did read. The sentences didn’t flow, the conversations were disjointed. It was a hot mess!
