Good read

I loved this story line!!! Something totally different from what I normally read- and though it was less of a sexy thriller and more of a feel good romance- it was worth the read! The story line of a widower with a young son and a young lady that comes into their lives is totally different that anything I have read yet... But it left me with a feeling of love, kindness and family. The characters were great and I absolutely fell in love with the little boy! There were some parts that felt drawn out and, essentially, boring; but they were only for a few pages and I wanted so badly to see the happily ever after that it was impossible to not read through them! All in all- worth it!

Gifted an ARC for a honest review…..

Patrick and Mackenzie’s story was an interesting, sweet story of 2 afraid of falling in love because of the loss that can happen. At times, too much inner dialogue and second guessing themselves slowed the pace of the story to a crawl. I can’t imagine this book as a serial, it would be hard to stay interested with delayed breaks. But as a full book, an OK read.

A change of pace... It felt right for the characters in the book, more believablilty? Sometimes it seemed to lag, but after reaching the end it felt right. It's a sweet romance and a bit of a change up with the widower with a child. Crazy family added that bit of drama. Not quite so smutty if you'd like to clean up your reading list.

Book 2- TRY is about a physical therapist that gets a new client and at first she was upset cause the father was about 5 minutes late for his sons 1st therapy session since he got his cast off his leg. During the time that Patrick's son was in therapy they had numerous dates but as always, Patrick started over thinking things and became an idiot

Great Series!

I thoroughly enjoyed and could relate to each of the characters, well not really Landon, since it's been way too long since I was 5 years old! I loved the humor, tension and romance! Absolutely a great read!

Okay read

I found this series somewhat boring, it just plods along with nothing significant happening. There is nothing that grabs your attention you don't feel any real chemistry between the two main characters. I found the whole thing pretty run of the mill.
