Good Read

The Summer Sister at it again with a push from dad in NY. This was a bit a a sad one when it’s other it just not as close yet the pain to Jane’s father hits a nerve. Witches of Crystal Cove series Always a good read.

This book will keep you reading and the pages turning. The characters are lovable and the story flows, which in the past books were slow a few places. This book didn't have any of that. Great Reading Everyone!

Good Book

I really enjoyed this book. Can’t wait to read book II. These witches are very imaginative and can come up with good solutions.

Four witches go to the city!

A death in the family sends Jane and her Dad and Sisters into the big city. A confusing pack of lies and had me guessing until the end!

Note

I decided to read all four before giving my review. One because I am already reading a series simular to this one, I find d it funny that in school they stress plagiarism in any form when writing stories to close to someone else's work. Yet I found that I like different versions being giving at similar angles. I use to watch Whodunit here but it was only on one season. I like our Jane figured it out quickly as do I when watching mysteries shows, movies or even these types of story lines. Unlike most people I love to read the whole story to find out if I am right and how the have the character unfold it all. I cannot wait til the next installment.

Unfortunately weak compared to earlier books

This book had a lot less charm and cozy to it compared to the three before it. It takes place in the big city, but that did not feel real. The main characters at one point deals with a drunken pass from a blood relative as if it was nothing, and I found that more than a little disturbing. The police and secondary characters simply are too shallow. I do not know how much further I will read in this series.

Murder, the big Apple and mystery

Emma Watts delivers another stunning tale of Jane and her witchy family. Crystal Cove is full of witches but no one knows. When Jane's aunt dies suddenly, it's off to the funeral they go. Who knew witches solved murders better than New York police detectives? I did.

Witches of Crystal Cove

There is nothing bad to say about this series. Humor, romance, witches and murder. And a dysfunctional family to boot!

Good book

It was interesting to read about Jane solving a murder that wasn't in her home town where she knows people.

Corny story

Pleasant story. A civilian solving a murder, and her boyfriend detective allowing her to solve them. There is a twist with her mother coming back to life ..
