Ekaterina lives in New Zealand, travels with her husband, and creates coloring books and funny picture books for kids. They have cats.
From the author: "Love of cats has inspired me to create a series of children books. Characters are based on my Scottish Fold cat Margo and her baby kittens.
Flowers, sunshine and new horizons are my inspiration.
Even a mention of travel for me is thrilling. In 2014, my husband Ed (he is an artist too!) and I packed up two small backpacks and went to live in Vietnam for 5 months. We got married on a tropical island in Thailand.
On our second trip to SE Asia, full of impressions, I have created my first coloring book.

Really nice and helpful little book!

I bought this book because I have a few coloring books and quite honestly didn't know where to start. This book gave me ideas and a plan to jump right in and start coloring. I definitely think it's worth the price and I believe I will continue to refer to it as s guide.

It was okay...

I likes the coloring pages that were free to download, and that they were cat themed certainly doesn't hurt. I love cats.

However, and maybe I'm spoiled by YouTube, I didn't feel like I was taught anything. The book is so short and the instructions are short . I would have appreciated tutorials on the techniques more than on how to color a whole three pages using barely explained techniques.

It's not a bad book and I paid .99 for it so for the price it's decent.

Great ideas and demonstrations

Love the book and her ideas. Going to be experimenting with these patterns. There were very few typos. Can count them on 1 hand. It didn't take away from the info Ekaterina was conveying. Thank you for a delightful book with a gift for teaching. Simple ideas to follow. Pictures will turn out professional looking

Very helpful for a beginner. Backgrounds always scared me. This helped me to see how beautifully those big empty spaces can be handled. Very clear instructions that are easy to follow. As a very beginner coloring person I loved this book

Layout needs work

This book is full of good information, but it's all over the place. There should be an example of each technique and it should be clearly identified. Instead we're told six different methods and on the next page is a block photo containing the six methods. It is difficult to decipher which technique matches the examples given.
