Tiana hardly drinks let alone being a party girl...
However, a friend’s book launch party at a fancy new hotel she attends dazzles her to do more than some things that she vowels she would never do - that includes sleeping with a total stranger.
The guy who Tiana had a one night stand with was tall, very charming and most of all extremely handsome. Oh there's one other thing too, his name is Dylan and he is a billionaire who loves his cowboy roots.
Tiana soon discovers - that what actually happened on that night would change her life forever as she now found out that a child is growing inside her.
Dylan is a different type of billionaire from the rest, he is interested in having more than just a one night stand with Tiana, but she’s not sure how to break the news of her pregnancy to him.
Will Dylan take responsibility for the life he’s helped create?
Or will Tiana be left to bring the baby up on her own?
**Note To Readers: If you love some hot and steamy sex scenes that leave your heart pounding, you'll not want to miss this one.**
The book was fast and there was some attraction between the two characters, but where was he a cowboy? This is the second book I’ve read of Joanna Jacobs that mentioned cowboy in the title and there is no mention of being a cowboy at all. (It is the only reason I read this book to see if this actually had the cowboy!)
Aside from this, the characters had backstories, but I wish it was a little longer and that it ‘finished’ better. It seemed like a cliffhanger even though it wasn’t. Needed an epilogue.
I knew not to expect a lot with the book being used an hour, but I need more story. When Tiana finally met Dylan's family, drama happened but we saw none of it. Some parts happened in Tiana's inner thoughts, but all that's ever shown are glimpses. There's no showing of Tiana and Dylan being in a relationship. At one point there was a line that mentioned it had been three weeks. It was difficult to tell who was speaking when it came to the narration. This book just needed more for me
Terrible. Im normally not one thing dish out bad reviews, because truly how many books have I published . None. However from beginning to about mid way this book (that's as far as I got) this book just irked my soul. It jumped from one thing to the next. No true explanation on the characters feels.. there was basically no inner monologue so you didn't have a clue what the character was thinking/feeling. I was looking for a quick read.. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
The story was too short. Tiana was all over the place. Dylan was too something....his family was very extra....There was so much potential in the drama his brother and parents had. However the author cut it off before we could read what was happening. We want to read the drama in the moment not just half mention it after the fact. I am still trying to figure what happened to the wine incident at the party.
The actual book stops at 5 percent. Yes 5 which was extremely short. There are about 7 bonus books after that story. A few were good but some I gave up on and skipped around. I should have read the reviews but the book that was supposed to be the main book was good.
You should either take out the murder mysteries completely or have someone do some serious editing and put them in the correct order. . Also, some of the others you got double copies of them in here.
This is the 3rd book I read by Joanna Jacobs. This book's story line was okay. I liked Tiana's character. I liked Dylan's character. I didn't like Dylan's parents. The ending was okay. This story could have been longer.
