When Sam Inverno, divorced and recently retired, meets Anne Holt, his quiet life is upended. As Anne’s trial date gets closer, her story begins to unravel, forcing her to develop yet another strategy, one that leaves Sam in the lurch. Faced with desperate circumstances, Sam does what many of us do. He misleads and hurts the people who matter most, while, at the same time, leaning on them. Couldn't Put It Down

IOU was a well crafted story that kept me wanting to read on. Len's style was engaging from the very first sentence. One of those stories that stays with you. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great read with no slow spots.
