Once again I find myself lost in the world of Declan Reede. Decipher is the 3rd book in the Untold Story of Declan Reede series but it really is the 4th book.

As we learned in Deceive, Declan lost everything that was important to him and discovered some things that has turned the future he was aiming for upside down.

As old temptations and demons surface, will he be able to resist them to be able to battle and win what he wants? Will he be able to decipher the clues to who has been deceiving him and get his revenge? Will his quest for revenge destroy his chance at the things he wants?

I again was not able to put this book down. The author has again proven that she is able to write a series where it just gets more intense and doesn’t lose any of the story making it sound unrealistic.

We get to see how the characters have grown and changed since that first novella. The twists and turns in the story may leave you a bit of whiplash.

There are times when you really just want to strangle Declan and his actions and others you totally get why he reacts the way he does.

I love how the story is still being told in Declan’s point of view. There have been a few times when I wish that I could get inside of Alyssa’s head but that just adds to the mystery of it all.

Along with with the author's ability to keep the details correct with the turns in the story and the suspense of the plotline I now have to wait patiently for the next book in Declan’s story to be released. Not sure how patiently I will be waiting but am so looking forward to continuing this story.

Wow... after the last book and that huge and crushing cliffhanger, I imaged I'd find Declan trying to win Alyssa back in this book. But, after the first chapter, everything changed. I felt so relieved when I saw that not everything went burning in his life. I now understand why he has so many panic attacks, his life is a spiral of chaos, gossip magazines trying o hurt him and his past coming back to bite him.

It was really good to see that Alyssa was really starting to trust him again and decided to give him the chance to explain after everything went down in the previous book. I actually almost screamed when I started this one, imagining Declan, once again, lost it all. But I was surprised to see otherwise and I had a smile on my face instantly.

I find it quite amazing that the story is still being told by Declan's pov. Despite wanting to know what was going through Alyssa's head sometimes, I found it really amusing how everything was from his perspective. This really shows how much he struggles with the stuff life throws his way and how much he is changing for his girls.
I'm quite anxious and nervous for what's to come.

Also, Phoebe is the cutest little thing ever! I love her! <3

"My gaze slid between my two girls. Despite the interruptions during the weekend, it had been helpful. It had helped solidify a few things for me - namely the lengths I would go to in order to keep my girls happy, safe and healthy.
I would walk to the ends of the Earth over broken glass just to make either of them smile."

Declan Reede does it again! No matter what this bad mouthed, ex drinking and ex womanizing bad boy does I just can't help but love his character.
However hard he tries to do this right thing and maybe it's for his own selfish reasons things always seem to blow up in his face and he gets some kind of punishment and pays harshly for it.
I understand that he has penance to do for his crazy past life but Michelle Irwin doesn't make his pathway to his HEA easy on him.
Im very much looking forward to the last book in this series to see what the future holds for Declan, whether there will be more heart break or happiness this book series has had me gripped and left me waiting and wanting eagerly for the next book to be released. Michelle's writing just gets better and better with every book.

After how 'Deceive' book 2 of "Declan Reede: The Untold Story" finished, that cliffhanger had me almost landing on Michelle Irwin's door step begging to either know what happened next or to just chuck the series out all together. I'm so glad I did neither of those, for obvious reasons, Unsure how 'Decipher' was going to start, thinking to myself, there's no time like the present, I jumped right into the emotional termoil that Declan finds himself in. The magazine article that lost him EVERYTHING he loves most in his life. 'Decipher' is book 3 (book 4 in the reading order) of Michelle's "The Untold Story of Declan Reede" series, it's a MUST that this series is read in order.

After learning about the article that ruined his career & then finding out that Alyssa had left Declan finds himself in the darkest days of his life. When the bottles are calling & promising oblivian to his problems, he finds srength in his memories... hoping for a way to explain to Alyssa about the lies within the article but she's no where to be found has Declan falling apart.

I'll be stopping there, OH MY that start was heart breaking! I can't spoil anything for you, but if you've read & LOVED the previous books in the series, you HAVE to read this. Once I'd started I couldn't put it down, that is until I had to drive for 6 hours, I was riveted to what I was reading & now I can't wait to read the final book in Declan, Alyssa & Pheobe's story.

REVIEW

*May contain spoilers *

I have enjoyed this series so far and the author doesn't disappoint yet again. Watching Declan grow up has been nothing short of crazy and well it' doesn't get any easier on him in this story. Just when he thinks, he may finally win back Alyssa and life can be great everything yet again goes to hell in a hand basket. Someone has it out for Declan and although Alyssa says she trust him he just can't believe that and is going to do all he can to fix the situation.
We of course get a cliffy, which I hate, but thank goodness, this author is known to write / release pretty quickly. I cannot wait to see if Declan finally can get all he has dreamed of.

I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review.

Does anything ever go to plan in Declan's life?

After losing his prestigious position as a driver for Sinclair Racing and the love of his life and mother of his daughter, Alyssa going AWOL Declan is on the verge of losing it. But he promised he wouldn't. And he couldn't let Alyssa and Phoebe down, not again!

When Alyssa shows up on his doorstep Declan finally allows himself to breathe again. Seeing Alyssa's strength and her brave spirit, she suggests she fights this with unity and Declan has never felt better. He might have been a god behind the wheel but with Alyssa by his side he is untouchable. While he battles the panic attacks, and the never ending paparazzi tracking their every movement, and his own compulsion for revenge stronger than ever, it's time to test their relationship and see just how strong they are.

This book didn't let you stop, just when you thought you could look up and breathe again, Michelle had something else happening. A great read!

In the beginning of this series you want Declan to get his comeuppance for all the horrible, misogynistic hook-ups he engaged in, he treated people, particularly women appallingly, but when it actually starts to happen, I couldn't help rooting for him and particularly Alyssa.
Writing a book from a first person point of view, especially such an often mentally unstable character is no mean feat. Michelle does it seemingly effortlessly, as you understand each characters POV, even when you are seeing things only through Declan's eyes.
Can't wait for the next one.

5 Stars!!!

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.

Declan Reede has had his whole world turned upside down. With his dream career over and the papers trashing his name, he has lost everything, or has he? Will he be strong enough to fight or will he allow his demons and enemies to win?

Michelle Irwin left us with hell of a cliff hanger in Book #2 and I had been eagerly awaiting book #3. My heart was breaking for Declan and I wanted nothing more than to crawl into my kindle and hug him, give him the love and support he desperately needed. Needless to say Michelle completely blindsided me at the start of this book and threw a spanner into the works that I had been hoping for, one Declan so desperately deserved. One full of hope!

This is the sweetest book in the series yet, this book will have your heart melting more often than not. I can truly say that the love, strength and connection Declan and Alyssa shared was stronger than ever in book #3 and showed the world they were a force to be reckoned with. They were adults and they had learnt from their past mistakes, they had learned to trust and support each other no matter the circumstances and no matter what the outsider influences threw at them.

Alyssa really grew on me in this book, she was beginning to see that the consequences and the actions of their past wasn’t completely Declan’s fault that she had played a part in it and that she had been quick to jump to conclusions. She was also proving the level of trust she had put on Declan was high, that she believed in him.

Declan was a changed man, he was the young boy who feel in love all those years ago, the mature family orientated boy who wanted a future with the girl he loved as well as his dream career.

Phoebe stole my heart, that little girl has you wrapped around her little finger each time she opens her mouth!

This story has a lot of revelations, the truth comes thick and fast and not just about the enemies Declan didn’t even know he had. It brought to the forefront even more how much outside influences had affected the relationship between Declan and Alyssa, how lack of communication and jumping to conclusions ultimately tore them apart.

I thoroughly loved this story, and thankfully their story isn’t over yet! There is a lot to still be answered and I want to see my favourite racer and his family get the HEA they all deserve.

If you enjoy suspenseful contemporary romances with a little erotica thrown in for good measure, you will absolutely love the Declan Reede: The Untold Story series by Michelle Irwin.

It's no secret how much I LOVE #MYDeclan, and make no mistake, HE IS MINE for future reference, so I LOVED LOVED LOVED Decipher! They say love and hate are the same side of a coin, and that's how I feel about this fabulous author that keeps BREAKING my heart. I will say she stitched some of it up with not leaving me hanging as badly this time, so I'm not breaking up with her yet. Don't get me wrong, she'll NEVER lose her #EVILWHORE hash tag, because she's still trying to KILL ME dead!

Poor #MYDeclan has lost everything (EXCEPT ME) that means anything to him. He's been fired from racing, and Alyssa has disappeared. The temptation to drown himself in the bottle is threatening to choke him. He has a few suspicions of who is trying to ruin his life, but no viable proof. Finally, he decides he's not going to let his daughter down again, even if everyone else is gone. Will #MYDeclan be able to prove he was set up so he can get his life back on track?

It kinda feels like I keep saying the same things on every review, but this series continuously evolves perfectly. None of the books are the same, as they never stand still, but keep flowing into higher and higher levels of awesomeness! The character development is perfect, with #MYDeclan really growing and maturing. Although I still think Alyssa wronged him, she's starting to grow on me. There's well placed humor that gave me a breather from the palpable pain of #MYDeclan, and I laughed hard. The thing is, I don't merely read words, but physically experience the story of #MYDeclan, because of Michelle Irwin's brilliant and HIGHLY addictive writing style. Her twists & turns bring on HUGE OMG moments that have caused me to bite my nails down to the quick. She's been playing keep away with my heart that she ripped out, and if I don't get it back soon, I will have to go down under to hunt her down. (Good thing I have always wanted to visit Bondi Beach). Declare can't show up on my kindle soon enough, so I will end all my dramatic gushing and just say, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND #MYDeclan to everyone!

I’m so bad. I thought I have reviewed this already but I was wrong. I wrote the review but have forgotten to post it. Anyways, I was lucky enough to be given an advance copy of this so I could read it early. Here’s my review:

The scene where it ended in the previous book, I was thinking so hard of what was really there and what really happened with Alyssa. For the first time ever, I’m happy that I predicted it right. Because I can’t imagine things going even more south with Declan. He at least deserves some happiness… okay a lot of happiness even if at times I badly want to give him a punch right in his face.

This book is a little happier than the previous one which makes me nervous for the next one. I know Michelle still has that twist waiting for all of us.

What I love most about this book is how you can see the characters growing and evolving to better persons. Reading this series made me feel like hearing about people I personally know. I love every bit of character in this series whether they played the good or bad role because they all made this series even more interesting.

At this point, I’d say I’m totally hooked with Michelle’s writing I’ll definitely read anything she writes.

Declan Reede, and Michelle Irwin have done it again.
No matter how many times I read about Dec, I can't help but love him, whether it's his attitude, his use of swear words, his sneaky, yet beautiful mind, the amazing way he is with Phoebe, or the way he has pulled his head out of his arse, and has become such an amazing man, father and partner. I don't think I've ever loved a character more!

Michelle has seriously outdone herself this time. I would however recommend to any readers, don't read Decipher. Wait until Declare comes out, otherwise you'll be sitting here, impatiently like me, waiting for the next instalment, and the next fix you can get of not only Declan, but the whole gang: Alyssa, Phoebe, Eden and even Morgan, when he's not being a "cock".

I love Decipher, I love Declan, Alyssa, Phoebe, Eden, and Morgan, and I need more!

Because I have a soft spot for a certain Monaro loving, ex-womanising, newly reformed family man, and I need Declare ASAP!

Everyone should read Declan's Story, because I guarantee, you'll love Dec just as much, or maybe just a little bit less than I do!

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. Declan is finally growing up. He and Alyssa are trying to work towards being a family with their daughter Phoebe. Even though he has lost everything he thought was important, he is finally realizing and understanding what is truly important to him. Controversy still surrounds him. The paparazzi won’t leave him alone, even though he isn’t the star he once was. Declan realizes that there is a force behind the relentless pursuit of him and his family. Finally figuring out what’s going on, he sets thing in motion that will stop them hopefully once and for all.
Michelle Irwin’s writing is just amazing. She has taken this story and has sucked me in. I have to know what’s next. I need to know where Declan goes now. What will happen to him and Alyssa? Will he mature enough to keep his family together? Please Michelle, inquiring minds really need to know!!

So after the cliffhanger in book 2 I really wanted to find out what happened with Declan and Alyssa. Declan has lost everything he loves. The question is will he go back to the destructive behavior of his youth or will he show he has grown up and is willing to fight for what he wants- his job and his family. This series just continues to evolve and get more intense. Even with all the twists and turns Michelle still makes it feel natural and realistic. There continue to be times when you love Declan and others that make you so mad at him but it is unique to have it only from his POV. I also have seen growth in him as the books progressed. I wish we sometimes knew what Alyssa was thinking but it does add some mystery to her. You definitely need to read this series in order to understand everything. Their story isnt over yet either. I can't wait to read what happen next with Declan, Alyssa and Phoebe.

Gah! Declan Reede! I want to hug him then I want to slap him then I'm back to hugging... This boy is giving me a split personality!

He's Impulsive
He's Loyal
He's Foul-Mouthed
He Says the sweetest things
He's quick to temper
He's Loving
He's.... Declan Reede

In the penultimate instalment of the Declan Reede series, Declan is determined to hold on to his family, extract revenge on those who have hurt him and claim back what he has worked so hard for. With twists and turns galore, will Declan ever get his 'Happily Ever After'?

A fantastic instalment of this series, I cant wait to see how it all ends!

Revenge Is Best Served Cold

This book is very much like the other in the series. Declan and Alyssa are more cemented in their relationship. Getting to trust eachother more. It is more one sided. It is more getting Alyssa to trust Declan after all the heartache. Declan has grown up lot. While his family is falling apart being his parents, he and Alyssa and Phoebe are getting closer.

This, the 3rd book in the Untold Story of Declan Reede series, once again has me deep in the world of Declan Reede and it does not disappoint.
Through the series, Declan gains his dream job only to lose everything that was important to him, but discovers some things that he didn't plan out are more important. His world was set. He became a race car driver and dropped everyone else. Until a simple chance meeting changed him. As he spiraled out of control he humbles himself and goes back home. Now he can have a new dream - a family with the love of his life. Will he be able to resist the demons of the past and those who want him to fail? Will he be able to decipher the clues to who has been deceiving him and get his revenge? Will his quest for revenge destroy his chance at the important things he wants?

There are times when i really just want to strangle Declan for his childish and selfish actions then other times where I totally get why he reacts the way he did. I love how the story is still being told in Declan’s point of view. This helps with the continuity of the storyline and held my interest. Although, there have been a few times when I wish that I could get inside of Alyssa’s head, but that just adds to the mystery of it all.

I was not able to put this book down. The author has again proven that she is able to write a compelling series where it just gets more intense and doesn’t lose any of the story as it progresses. It is a very believable story. The characters have grown and changed especially since that first novella. All a tribute to this amazingly talented author. The twists and turns in the story may leave you with a bit of whiplash, but the author leads the reader around every corner smoother than any gps. Along with her ability to keep the details correct with the turns in the story and the suspense of the plot adds to make the characters believable.

**arc received for honest review**

After book 3 we were left with a bit of a cliffhanger so we were so glad when we seen this book we love Dec and Alyssa’s story.

Alyssa is gone.

Declan is alone.

Life empty.

Meaningless.

He needs her.

He wants her.

His career gone.

No V8’s.

No driving.

His world is crushing down around him.

No Alyssa.

No Phoebe.

No cars.

Until she turns up on his door step.

His life.

His future his daughter.

His soul mate.

Alyssa realizes that what she read in the papers is all BS and she knows Dec wouldn’t cheat on her so she drives all the way from Brisbane to Sydney to get to Declan and to make sure he was ok.

After making up and realizing that they can overcome the papers and being chased by the paps life seems to be going great until Declan’s past starts to catch up with him and parts of a puzzle is starting to come together with Declan working out who is trying to destroy his career and his family, his future.

After Declan sets all the puzzle pieces together and puts a motion in play to out the ones that are trying to ruin him. Even knowing that it could risk his future with Alyssa by keeping it from her.

Will Declan’s plan pay off?

Or will he loose his family again?

Will he ever drive for Sinclair Racing?

Will Declan find a new race team?

That you will have to read to find out.

Once again we love Declan and Alyssa’s story we really hope there will be another, we love the roller coaster of emotion we are taken on with these 2 and we can’t wait to see if they get there happy ever after.

We loved there was a lot more interaction with Dec and Phoebe in this book she is such a beautiful little girl we hope we get to see her grow up!

Please note this review may contain spoilers.

First off, I need to point out something that is completely unrelated to this review: I was mentioned in the dedication. How awesome is that? Now, onto the important stuff⎯my review.

If you've read all books in this series so far, you'll know that Declan has just been kicked off the Sinclair Racing team because of a damning eight-page article in a gossip magazine. After all the action we've seen in the previous books, DECIPHER was notably short on it. It's still a great read and I couldn't put it down, but not a great deal happens in this book. We find out who's behind the article and why they're out to ruin Declan. He and Alyssa are trying to make their relationship work and prepare for the future, but it's hard when Declan is without a job, her family's still not on Team Declan and the paparazzi is still following them around. I think the most important thing to point out is that Declan seems to be growing up. He swallows his pride and starts making amends with the people he let down. But Declan is still Declan, so he's bent on revenge and determined to make those who ruined him pay. It's something that Alyssa hates but I personally don't blame him because I'm all about revenge.

DECIPHER doesn't really end in a cliffhanger⎯you're not left hanging or screaming "What The F#%&?"⎯but it's not the final book in the series. DECLARE will come out next month.

Another great installment in the Declan Reede series! Michelle has done a great job writing a series that will have you dying to read more. This couple just can't seem to catch a break and I love watching them navigate down a road that has had so many pot holes and obstacles. There are times when you think there is no way they will be able to find their happy ending and just when things start to pan out and go great BAM something comes to test their relationship.

Declan is trying hard to prove to Lys that he is done with his drinking, drugs and womanizing but there are people that are set out to prove that he hasn't changed at all. Lys has to work through all the pain from the past and learn if she can truly trust him. Unfortunately Declan doesn't always make it easy with the decisions that he makes. He thinks that he's doing the right thing but he has issues thinking past what he wants and remembering that he has others to about now.

I can't wait to see how this series concludes. It will be bittersweet as I have grown attached to these characters. You really don't want to miss out on this series! In order to fully enjoy them and to know what is going on you MUST read from the beginning. Don't worry though because you will fall in love with this series as well.

***Review has been gifted in exchange for my honest opinion and on behalf of Kats Book Promotions/ Katsindiebookblog.*** I couldn’t be more happier with this book. After, yet again, another cliffhanger from the previous books, I was pleased with this story! We are left off with Declan losing everything; his job, Alyssa, and most importantly his daughter. It seems that someone is out to get him, but who and why? His old demons keep poking their heads out and pushing him to want to drink and do drugs again, can he keep them at bay or will they reel their ugly heads and push him to his limits? What does Alyssa think about this whole situation? And what of her daughter, bringing her to terms of her father just to have him gone again? Can Declan figure out who is out to get him and possibly win his heart back?
With there being another book on the way, I can only imagine as to what to expect in this artist’s work. I have yet to be disappointed, and I don’t see it happening with any of Michelle’s work. You get to know all the characters, as well as feel like you are in the book itself. Just keep crossing your fingers for Declan and Alyssa, an HEA could possibly be happening, but I’m not telling!

WOW! Michelle has done it again! Another great book in the Declan Reede: The Untold Story Series! The twists and turns just keep coming causing me to keep guessing where the finish line will be. I can't wait to find out how Declan and Alyssa's story turns out.

Declan has grown so much since the story started. It hasn't been easy and he has made a ton of mistakes, but I feel like he has finally figured out exactly what is truly important in life and is determined to be worthy of Alyssa and Phoebe's love. He is holding himself responsible for all the things he has done- good and bad-- in his life. He is still pig-headed and impetuous but he is learning to think before he acts-- learning because he hasn't mastered it yet.

Alyssa has grown too but her growth has more to do with becoming mature. Now if only Curtis and Josh would grow up and become mature! I don't think that will ever happen though.

I highly recommend you buy the entire Declan Reede Series. It is one heck of a ride!

After Michelle Irwin left us hanging in #2, she starts Decipher off with a "Wow", now I am not really an emotional person but there were tears at least three times in the first couple of chapters for the bad boy. Michelle rips your heart out and makes you bleed for the bad boy who wants to make amends for the choices he has made in his life. This is a can't put down book.

The Story

Brake hard, jostle for position, and watch for the blind corner.

In a swirl of controversy, Declan Reede lost everything important to him. Now old temptations resurface, old battles reignite, and he has nothing left in reserve.

When a glimmer of hope is offered, Declan has to stand and fight for what he wants or he might just lose it all forever.

How can he decipher the clues and get revenge on those who want to see him burn?

Once again Michelle Irwin has done it. I loved the first 3 in this story, and will love the next however many she writes. Although I do have to know how she comes up with so many things to do to poor Declan! This poor man has more than paid for his mistakes. And no matter how foul he comes off, and how his past is colored, I think we all love him almost as much as Alyssa. And we all know why she cant get enough of him....
In yet another "misunderstanding" we find him in hot water yet again. I cant say too much without giving spoilers, but know that there is so much in this series tat I cant put them down!

This story continues on from Deceive and Declan finds out what happened to his career and who was behind it. He also finds out who is family and friends are and who has got his back.

Declan gets his happy ending after fighting for it and having someone believe in him gets him further than he believed possible.

Michelle Irwin has continued this great series and has been true to the story and how people can be treated because other people want to see them fail.

I was given a copy of the book in exchange far an honest review - naughty book eden

This series just keeps getting better. I cannot wait for the next book! What is going to happen next? These characters have been through so much already. It feels like there is this strong attraction to know what happens next!!
