Scott Snyder is the Eisner and Harvey Award winning writer on DC Comics Batman, Swamp Thing, and his original series for Vertigo, American Vampire. He is also the author of the short story collection, Voodoo Heart, published by the Dial Press in 2006. The paperback version was published in the summer of 2007.
I am enjoying this so much, and reading all of them back to back, and not even thinking about my rating, just giving it whatever stars to get to the new one. Okay a question why make batman lose his memory, only to make up a way for him to regain his memory again, why couldn't they just save the poor guy the hassle of going through all that. So yeah Bruce Wayne decides he wants to save Gotham, and goes through a procedure to become batman again, his girlfriend Madison helps him become batman, even though it will erase his time with her, and how the hell did she figure out he was batman! Anyway good stuff my batman new 52 journey is almost over.
Had some great high points but also several instances of the things that have soured so many on Snyder's run. This was a weird but effective issue. I think it might fair better in a marathon read of Superheavy once it's concluded.
Day 161: 3.5⭐️ rounded up. So the mind cloning machine worked. As far as we can tell. Strange visions of other lives, Elseworlds. Seemed a fast read with nothing happening except The Bat’s rebirth. And why did Capullo miss one issue? The art was kind of jarring. Maybe that was the intent.
Meh... lots of mediocrity in this one.. For Bruce to get back on being Batman... no. I don't need to see all the Batman versions being like one and shit like that. Also the idea of Bruce uploading Batman's brain so future generations can be made of Batmen with the same brain and ugh-- nope.
I didn't really like it, but it was necessary to get to issue 50. That will make sense if you read it. I liked it only because it gets us to what's about to happen in issue 50.
