I read this book to the young boy I nanny who loves basketball. His dads favorite played was Michael Jordan so we rented this from the library. This was an interesting story about Michael Jordan, who was first denied from the team after tryouts at a young age. The dominant theme seemed to be to pursue your dreams no matter what, and never give up. This helped the young boy stayed interested in reading the story, because of his interest for the sports. This was a hundred pages or so, I would say for readers from 3rd grade-5th grade. I rated this book well because it serves its purpose of giving information about Michael Jordan's life and basketball which is very interesting for a lot of children who enjoy basketball.
I think the book was awesome. I learn from the best, so I will try to do the same thing Michael Jordan and became a legend and a leader for his basketball team.
