When Michelle twists her ankle, she pretends it hurts more than it does. Now she's getting all the attention she ever wanted. Except that Michelle's supposed to try out for a tap dancing show. How can she dance when she shouldn't be walking?
Two and a half stars, rounded up. Michelle pretends that a foot injury is worse than it actually is to gain sympathy attention, only she's supposed to try out for the upcoming tap dance show. How can she try out when she's not supposed to be walking, let alone dancing?
Won't reveal how this is resolved so as not to spoil the ending, but character development was a little flat and it doesn't appear that the author actually knew much about tap dancing. Very disappointed in this caliber of writing.
