Loved

Josephine & Kieran were both going into this marriage for two different reasons. Josie because her father said & Kieran simply for revenge but what is the real reason?! Very engaging story, there are times I thought Kieran was definitely an alpha-hole to her, but he did redeem himself and Josie was a great heroine. Loved her.

This one was a forced marriage. To keep her wastrel brother out of prison her politician dad forces her to marry the hero, a scarred ex-military man. He's marrying her to hurt her family, (for revenge, his niece was raped at a party the heroine's brother attended, and his face was caught on film in the room) but her dad doesn't care about her at all because she has a bad stutter, the H doesn't know that until afterwards. He is very hot and cold, but ultimately lets her go when the brother develops a conscience, confesses, and turns himself in. Hero then spies on her for a few months while she's off at college until he can't stand it and goes to get her back.
Grovel is nothing fancy, but i do believe in his remorse. 6 months separation where he kinda stalks her, but she does not know and then he comes to her. First she kicks him out, but couple hours later he breaks in, has a monologue and they have smex.

I really really liked this, but fair warning the grovel is a bit weak. Could have used an epilogue because I'm not sure the MMC had the kind of track record that made me believe he could change permanently. Still excellent angst in a tight concise little package.

Dark Beast by Alexa Sinclaire is part of the Naughty Fairy Tales series this one is a play on Beauty and the Beast. Josephine is about to marry a man she has only met once before. She has flaws her rich power driven father does not want anyone to know about. Like her PSTD which causes her to stutter and have nightmares. He orders to to be quiet. She does what he asks, but she does not consider her marriage a trial. She actually like the scared up solider that is marrying her.
Kieran has scars all down the left side of his face. He is marrying her out of vengeance. But does not count on actually falling in love with the sweet woman he has married.
They have instant chemistry. They both come into this marriage with flaws and secrets. Sometimes life gives you what you need not exactly what you think you wanted. These two learn together they can conquer anything. I love a story with true romance in it and this one is that.

Tormented Kieran Thomson currently has scars that run more than skin deep. He’s jaded and an extremely bitter man who is a beast. Will Josephine "Josie" Richmond be his last chance at redemption? Will they heal each other’s souls or tear each other apart?

Readers are to be amazed and fall in love with the two main characters. A great read to pass the time! It gets 4.5 stars and a Top Pick!

Hot fast safe read
My issues: too much pull, H was an asshole and crossed the line in how he treated her more than once, verbal abuse and neglect.... I really didn't understand how H sound be so sweet and amazing and treat her so nicely at night (before during and after sex) but then once the morning came he was a huge dink and disrespect her constantly.... plus no epilogue... no chance to actually see him be a good husband let alone person...

Beauty and the Beast.

It started off a bit rough for me, but I loved the strength from Josephine the lady love in this book. She was wonderful. Her beast loved her like mad and was a little crazy towards her throughout the book. The ending of this book is one of my favorites. Really enjoyed the beauty and the Beast premise.
