The book is quite unusual for the series. Elizabeth does something which it totally unethical. There's a contest among the schools to have students appear on a show called Young Love. The schools will provide their entries into the contest and one school will be picked. Once that happens the students to appear as contestants will be picked. The prize is a trip to a Dizzy Planet, an amusement park.

A lot of the book is around the efforts of the various clubs and groups in the school to prepare their entries.

So far so good.

But the host of the show can be pretty snarky and that's not something Elizabeth can deal with so she changes places with Jessica which is basically unethical. It's not the only thing of that nature that goes on between the twins, either, and if caught the whole school's plans could crumble.

It's unusual for Elizabeth to do something so unethical that it could not only punish her but it could basically punish others. This makes it an unusual book for the series and not necessarily for the better.

This book was hilarious.

Also, this line is classic Jessica… “Honest and sincere. It wasn’t an approach Jessica would have come up with on her own.” You don’t say…

"Be My Valentine"

Dizzy Planet time! /
The Tunnel of Love awaits... /
For Jess and Toddster?!

When SVMS is selected to appear on Young Love, everyone is sure they will end up winning a trip to Dizzy Planet, California's newest theme park. Lila, of course, has already been. Jessica can't wait for a chance to shut her up. Jessica is selected as a candidate for the boys, while Liz is picked as a contestant, guaranteeing her a spot at Dizzy Planet. But when she realizes how much the handsome host, Byron, picks on nerdy contestants, she starts to get worried. How incredibly lucky for her that she has a twin to switch with. They aren't supposed to tell anyone about their statuses, but Liz can't bear the thought of being humiliated onstage. Jess agrees to take her place... and ends up humiliating Liz anyway while impersonating her. She chooses Todd. The other couples heading off to Dizzy Planet are Amy and Aaron, Maria and Patrick, and Janet and Donald. When Liz is on in Aaron's group, she makes Jess sound like even more of an airhead than she really is (if that's possible). Too late, Liz realizes she could have answered better and won, therefore meaning she and Jess could have switched back. Now she is left without a trip to DP and without Todd. On the plus side, everyone thinks Liz can't form a sentence on TV and that Jess is stupider than Ellen Riteman!

This book was simply boring. It got a little interesting from chapter 11 to chapter 14 but all the other chapters were not so good.
It took them 5 chapters to finish a scene. It was very unrealistic.

This is the real reason why people say "don't judge a book by it's cover" I didn't really buy the book for it's cover, the title & the summary of this story looked impressive.
