What a wonderful way for preschoolers to practice counting and, at the same time, celebrate the coming of spring! From ten little ladybugs crawling all around the crocuses to one Easter basket brimful of carrots, corn, berries, and other treats for the animals, this book is a joy to share with a very young child. Meilo So’s inspired and deft watercolor paintings of bunnies, chicks, ducklings, and other little woodland creatures set against a tapestry of flowers capture the very essence of spring.
This new sturdy board book edition is just right for toddlers who are starting to learn to count.

Another winner by Janet Schulman and Meilo So. Love these delightful watercolor pictures. This book is for younger children being a counting book. But, if you love Meilo So's artwork, get it just to look at it. I plan on checking out more books that she has illustrated.
Very seasonal (Easter) book, but it's a nice counting book. Count down from 10 to 1 (10 ladybugs to one Easter goody basket). It was nice to find it in the basket.
This is fine. A basic book counting down from 10 ladybugs to 1 easter basket. Cute pictures. Quite a small book. Better for one-on-one with a kid who is learning to count.
