Deepest Kiss is the latest novella in the spellbinding Stark series. It’s a series that captivates and shows no sign of losing momentum.
For Damien and Nikki, it has been a journey of extreme highs and lows. Throughout it all they have remained strong and weathered the storms faced. At the present time life is treating them well.
Nikki’s company is taking shape and as far as Damien is concerned, a happy wife is a happy life.
Things sour when there is a threat directed towards Nikki. As tensions rise, Nikki finds herself in a position of helplessness. Unwanted dark thoughts return and even with the love and support of friends she struggles with the revelations being made. There is never any doubt of Damien’s devotion to Nikki, he is formidable presence, none more so than when it comes to the protection of his wife.
J. Kenner’s writing is addictive. Much like the Starks, it’s sensual and decadent. The introduction of a new character Dallas Sykes, served not to pique my interest but to revel in what is in store for him in the upcoming Stark International Novel, Dirtiest secret.

Not a fan of this series but kept reading it coz’, well, the OC in me hits every time I see a book from the series being released. I really need to change that attitude now that I don’t have much reading time like I used to.
RL really sucks.
For Damien and Nikki, if this is really the last book in the Stark Trilogy (emphasis on Trilogy) series, then I only have one thought; Congratulations for getting all the HEA in one lifetime. Unreal, but so are you. Now, go rest your souls – eternally.

As always I enjoyed to read about Damian and Nikki. These two together are just delicious and crazy intense. Their relationship is still incredibly strong and the chemistry between them still burning hot. There is plenty of sexy times in this book. Damian is a Maestro orchestrating Nikki’s pleasure like a symphony.
Once more J. Kenner delivers a beautifully written story and a perfect little taste for everyone who has been missing the Starks. Life with them is never boring. The questions weren't all answered in this one so there is more to come.

Sometime I forget how much I love Nikki and Damien! This novella quickly reminded me. Great story and super steamy!
Talk about a story that packs a punch. There was a bit of funny and sweet, a little mystery, and a whole lot of sexy! It was the perfect read to catch up with Nikki and Damien. I have always loved the dynamic that Nikki and Damien have and how Damien is always so there for her and grounds her. It can be sweet and loving... and hot, erotic, and passionate (did I mention hot?! Wow HOT!). This had it all and I couldn't stop reading.
I loved the mysterious element that played out and how that effected Nikki. It really made me happy. I cannot wait to see if this new information gets worked into future stories.
Dallas Sykes was introduced in this story and that man is going to be an awesome characters. I total womanizing player and a billionaire but from the sneak peek I got, he seems like a genuinely nice, sweet (and sexy!) guy. Super smart, very astute and perceptive. I am super excited for his story in Dirtiest Secret.
Excellent story with fantastic writing that pulled me in. Loved all the hotness too... Damien is super commanding and has a way with words and kink. That always makes for a great read. ;-)

I'm SUCH a huge fan of the whole Stark series. Damien, Jackson, soon Dallas...I love them all...
This novella was just as great as all the others...
We have SEX and LOVE and FAMILY and FRIENDS... and MYSTERY (even though the mystery part was extremely non-mysterious...I immediately knew the whos and whats ☺) But pfff - I loved it!
A MUST READ for all fans of the Damien & Nikki series - and we get to meet Dallas again - the star of Julie's new trilogy... Dirtiest Secret who is so much more than what you might think at first sight....

I am in a post-Stark state of bliss. You know, that giddy feeling that has a smile plastered to your face and warms your…umm…heart. Sex, Scandal and a baby to boot, Deepest Kiss will leave you wanting more of this iconic romance duo.
Kenner brings in all the fun right out of the gate. I was laughing out loud on page one. I have been on a journey with these characters since 2013 and every book is like coming home. That exciting feeling of seeing old friends and catching up on their lives, that’s what each of these installments are like. But Kenner also throws in some new friends to meet and love.
Deepest Kiss will not only quench your thirst for more Nikki and Damien, but will also whet your palate for more of Dallas Sykes. The way she gets you excited for the next big player is brilliant. Dallas’s series starts in April and I am so glad that I have this book on my kindle to start ASAP because, WOW, Dallas Sykes has my full attention. There is so much mystery around this Stark International playboy, and I, for one, am eager to get a better look.
I am dying to get more of this power couple and have visions of babies dancing in my head. I can see Daddy Damien now: terrified beyond belief, protective to a fault, absolutely overjoyed, and completely and utterly wrapped around that little ones finger. I know one day Kenner will deliver this adorable bundle of joy to us and that will be a glorious day.

I love how J. Kenner keeps writing about Damien and Nikki and I love how I am able to go back to these two characters time and again with these novellas! And you know what's the best part? It does not, even for a moment feels like Kenner is dragging this series.
If you are familiar with this Series you will know that for Damien and NIkki, the journey is filled with highs and lows and twists and turns. But come hell or high water these two always come back kicking any adversary in its ass. This story starts with life being good to Damien, Nikki and all their friends. Nikki's company is moving up. Sylvia and Jackson are having a baby. Jamie is in a secure relationship and finally at the peak of her career. And Damien? Well, he is still earning millions and totally content with his life.
But you know, all good things must come to an end. Things take a turn for the worse when there is a direct threat towards Nikki. Long buried memories resurface and the past rears its ugly head but even with all the love and support of her husband she struggles with all the revelations. Throughout it all Damien remains the ever dutiful husband, picking her up when she fell, being her rock and support throughout it all.
Kenner's writing in Deepest Kiss is decadent and attracts you to the mystery that shrouds the first half of the novella, slowly revealing itself but which still remains a mystery. Kenner also introduces a new character Dallas Skyes who were going to get to know in her upcoming Stark International novel, Dirtiest Secret
As always the book incorporates the infamous sex scenes between Mr. and Mrs. Stark and the eer present extremely strong bond between the two. Love them!

Damien and Nikki Stark continue to be one of my all-time favorite couples, and I love the fact that J Kenner keeps writing fresh insights into their married life and how they continue to be each other's rock when things fall apart around them. Damien and Nikki are each other’s anchor, helping one another to heal and grow as their love consumes them, and Kenner expresses that idea thoroughly in every delicate touch, every warm embrace, and every erotic game they play. Ever since Nikki fought for Damien when he was tried for murder, their bond has remained unbroken regardless of who or what has tried to interfere and that connection shines through once again in Deepest Kiss when unexpected situations occur and Damien is right by Nikki’s side ensuring she’s taken care of and showing her that she has nothing to fear.
This time around, readers also get to catch up with Jackson and Sylvie and see how and where their lives are headed, and I couldn’t be any happier for what they have because reuniting with couples I’ve witnessed fighting for their happiness and seeing what happens after the battle makes the struggle to deal with the complications worth the torture.
Readers also get to meet the elusive playboy Dallas Sykes, and he’s definitely a man of contradiction. This is the sixth novella in the Stark series featuring Damien and Nikki Stark. It also introduces us to Dallas Sykes, a notorious playboy and heir to the Sykes Department Stores. It starts out on the Stark's Island Resort where everyone is gathered for Sylvia's baby shower. Nikki finds out that a strange older man was watching her while she was on the island. When they return to Los Angeles that same man becomes Nikki's newest client. Who is this strange man ? And what does he want with Nikki ? I figured it out as soon as Dallas described what the man watching her looked like but I won't spoil it for anyone. I absolutely love Damien and Nikki and will automatically read anything with them in it.

Love love love Damien, Nikki, Jackson, Syl, Ryan & Jamie of course their are more. I love how Damien always protects Nikki and knows exactly what Nikki needs and when she needs it. Nikki always fears she needs Damien too much but Damien always tells her their relationship works for them. Being a power couple always comes with trouble but Damien always is there along with his staff to come to the rescue. This adventure would be no different. Let hope her family is continuing to get bigger instead of disappointing parents.

I like where the story is going but what i dont like are all these little books that i have to buy that would be just as potent as a full length novel.

My Review:
Deepest Kiss is another novella in the "Stark Saga" that features our epic pairing of Damien and Nikki. We also get some introduction to some characters to some of her other books that I haven't read. We also get some fun times with Jackson and Sylvia.
I really had a fun time with this one, and I loved the connection and background that we get for Nikki and seeing her reconnect with her past and there were some spooky moments in this book that definitely will keep you at the edge of your seat. I was really fascinated to see the next step in their story and we also see Nikki starting to yearn for some kids (I am not sure she has written anything with them having kids, I hope one day she does because they would be awesome parents).
This really focuses on learning to trust and standing by each other through times of uncertainty. I can't wait to see what else we get from this couple.

This really focuses on learning to trust and standing by each other through times of uncertainty. I can't wait to see what else we get from this couple.

Another perfect novella by J. Kenner. Damien and Nikki are one of my favorite fictional couples, and I always enjoy getting treated to reading more about them either in one of their novellas or through other books in The Stark International Trilogy. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of them in J. Kenner’s latest series about Dallas Sykes.
Deepest Kiss starts off at probably one of the most fun baby showers I’ve ever heard of for Sylvia. After the baby shower, Nikki decides she wants to get some champagne for when Damien arrives, so she leaves her bungalow at The Resort at Cortez and makes her way to a little market to get everything she needs. But once she reaches the gate she instantly reacts to seeing a man standing underneath an awning to a building across from her. She’s not sure why she reacts the ways she does, but she decides to forget the market and head back home. It isn’t until later that she learns from Dallas that the same man had been watching her earlier at lunch.
Chills and excitement ran through me wondering who the mystery man might be. It didn’t take me long to guess who I thought it might be but what does the mysterious man want with Nikki? Will he try to blackmail her or Damien so that he can get his hands on some of Damien’s money? Is he out to hurt one or both of them?
Starting Deepest Kiss, I was instantly sucked in and felt as if I was welcomed by an old friend. Not many authors continue to provide an ongoing story for our favorite characters, and this is the sixth Stark Ever After novella. I want to thank J. Kenner for keeping their story and always providing the right amount of mystery, drama, and steamy scenes for her readers.
If you have not yet read one of J. Kenner’s books, I highly recommend them to you. You will instantly love all her characters and their stories. One thing you don’t have to worry about in her novellas is there are no angsty parts. They are perfect little updates on their lives and a way to keep us connected and yearning for more of them. I can't wait to meet Dallas Sykes in Dirtiest Secret.

A short continuation of the story of Damien Stark and Nikki Fairchild. We are introduced to Dallas Sykes, who will be the leading man in the Dirtiest Secrets novel. Can’t wait.
The plot of this book involves a mysterious man who enters Nikki’s life. Damien still grounds Nikki, helping her fight her demons. The chemistry between this power couple is still hot and dominant/submissive. The pacing is quick and to the point. We are also left with a slight cliffhanger. These characters have been developing through a number of books. Damien and Nikki have a relationship that as a reader I never can get enough of.

So yesterday, I read this short novella and I've got to say it was an enjoyable read. It had all the fluff a girl could possibly need; the birth of a cute baby and Damien and Nikki's relationship is always a pleasure to witness.
It was a privilege to see Nikki's character development in this too. Considering it was such a short book, Nikki definitely went on a bit of a journey. It was nice to see her connect with Frank and see her come to term with the idea of having children without forcing a plot line; i.e. oh look Nikki, you're pregnant!
The only thing I'd say in a negative response was the lack of suspense. There were two suspense moments in the book. The first the moment when Nikki first sees Frank. As far as suspense goes it was beautifully done, especially because of it's effect on her relationship with Damien. It was very real. However, throughout the rest of the book the suspense was just missing. If anything, I felt like I knew what was going to happen. It was pretty obvious that Nikki would get into the car with Frank. It was also way too apparent who Frank was... but then perhaps that was intentional. It is really hard to get a big plot like this one with all the emotional turbulence it causes Nikki into a few short pages. The final suspense moment that seemed lacking was the moment of the birth. It seems a bit ridiculous that everything was just fine when they all finally arrived at the hospital... but to make up for that, there is the chance to read a parallel story about Syl and Jackson so we can't complain too much.
All in all, I loved it. I know it probably sounds like I didn't but I really did. It's hard not to love J. Kenner's work. She has a habit of making you love her characters so much that just like her, you can't put them down. It's interesting because sometimes I wonder if Nikki and Damien's story is perhaps not over, but passed it's crux and then I remember that even if that is true, I still want to hear all about the little, perhaps slightly less traumatic, less dramatic moments.
As well as all of that, this book also gave us an amazing opportunity to get to know Dallas a little better. He's a pretty sound guy - but definitely a bit of a man whore. Although if the sneak peek at the end of the book is anything to go by, his story is going to be something altogether different and tragically heartbreaking. I'm so excited about reading it next month.

My Thoughts
I'm more than happy to continue to get these little novellas as extensions to the bigger series since i'm definitely not ready to let the story or characters go. There's so much that we get from Nikki / Damien as well as Syl/Jackson and i think that the more and more that we get to see of Dallas - the more excited i get for his own series to come out next month.
That being said, in this short installment, we get to see Syl on the precipice of giving birth, and the introduction of an unknown guy who spooks Nikki on the island, and then is determined to be the same guy that's decided he wants to hire her for an app development.
The protector in Damien comes out in full blast, and the protector that i'm sure we'll see in his own series has come out with Dallas, and that makes this series that much hotter and enjoyable to read. J Kenner continues to give us the passion and heat that we long for - with a chemistry between our mains that is not just obvious but enthralling. I can't wait to see what happens next since there's still a lot up in the air on motives for this guy, and who he may know or doesn't know. (blackmail and those photos of Jamie and Nikki have come back into play).

Damien and Nikki are back in this short Stark Ever After novella. The gang returns including a few new members, a baby is born, a father reappears and we meet Dallas Sykes. You absolutely will want to meet Dallas, he's a playboy with secrets. He's also going to get his own series, the Dirtiest Secret coming in April 2016. I can't wait, I love a man of mystery.
Deepest kiss is filled with joy, intrigue and ends with more unanswered questions. Damien and Nikki are still haunted by pictures from their past. Nikki begins to think about growing their family in the future. She has self-doubts and finds herself back in Damien's arms for comfort. Nikki seems weaker in this novella. She's still struggling and relying on Damien.
"Because Damien will always be there, when I'm broken and when I'm not. He will always be there to hold me close. To give me what I need. And he will help me heal.
I would love for Nikki to become more self-assured and free of her demons. Although they may never go away at least have more control. The novella has opened up a Pandora's box. 3.5 Stars.

This may be a novella, but it's packed with emotion, from biting your nails to eye-popping bedroom (or other rooms!) scenes, this is a story you don't want to miss.

Nikki and Damien are back... but they aren't the only ones. The gangs all back and three new members are added - a baby, a missing father, and Mr. Dallas Sykes.
Every time I read these novellas, I think "What else can we learn about The Starks that we don't already know?" Turns out - that the blackmailer is still on the loose, unidentified, and that family is who make them to be, not who you are born to.
Loved the snippet of Dallas at the end. Can't wait to delve into his background and story, so long as I get some more status updates on Stark and company.

When it comes to light who this mystery man is what will Nikki do about it trust her heart or get burned for doing so? I was actually shocked by the emotions I felt when I started reading this because it had been a while since I've read any books by J. Kenner and it's sufficient to say that I missed them all. Especially Nikki, Damien, Jackson and Syl.
This novella brought back a lot of memories for me and I enjoyed reading it. Let's not forget to mention that this was a sexy read. The chemistry between Nikki and Damien is still there - if anything its better than before.

J Kenner knows how to write hot, steamy, erotic books, and let me tell you, this installment into Damien and Nikki's perfect and sensual life was just plain sexy and hot. I'm not a huge fan of short books, never seems like there's enough time to develop the storyline and characters, but this author has an amazing ability to suck you into the story immediately and leaves you feeling like you've just finished a 300 page book. This book was full of surprises, and along with Damien and Nikki's hot chemistry, it's a must read. Loved it!

It's always exhilarating to read about Nikki and Damien. I absolutely love this couple and their circle of friends. Deepest Kiss will leave you wanting for nothing. Well accept for a small cliffhanger. There's comedy, sexy time and dialogues that will have you right there with the characters.
Once again, J. Kenner has drawn me in! Can Nikki continue to be in control of her body? Will interesting news bring her to the edge? Can Damien save her from self destruction? Deepest Kiss is an absolute must read?

I love Damien and Nikki, I am so glad that Julie keeps giving up these stark novellas. As usual we get the extremely hot Damien stark burning up our kindles. The connection between him and Nikki is amazing. This Novella has a great twist. Very exciting to read. We get a little of the other characters in Starks world too. Highly recommended! You will definitely want to read this one and catch up on the world of Nikki and Damien.
