OMG perhaps I need to set my iPhone to block buying audiobooks when I wake in the middle of the night and want a new short story to relax!

After my last Olivia Myers book I have NO IDEA why I bought this. BUT....this was a much better book, and I'm actually really glad I bought it! The audiobook is only 77 minutes long - the paperback includes 20 some other stories that I know nothing about.

This story is REALLY CUTE! Yep, it's another lesbian who shifts into a sweet housecat. This story has a couple of likable women and is lots of fun. Toward the end it reminded me of the ending of one of my favorite lesbian paranormal books "A Date With Angel, and Other Things That Weren't Supposed to Happen"

While cat tongues are rather rough to think about on my nipples, I have to admit that I'll never ever think of cat toys the same again! Embarrassed as I may be, I do recommend this book as a silly fun listen...and I will probably listen to it a few times again when I wake in the middle of the night ;)

This review is a long time in coming. As I have said many times I don't like anthologies, I don't like collections of short stories, I don't like short stories. And guess what this book was… A collection. Of. Short stories.

I was drawn in by the blurb about this book which I thought was going to be Lesbian Romance: Catnip (Cat Paranormal Shape Shifter Romance) (New Adult and College Women's Fiction Romantic). The first story was the story about a shapeshifting cat who happens to be lesbian. The story was okay.

After that story, was a mass of fantasy and sci-fi erotica that was all very heterosexual. Much of it was disturbing to me. Some would've been good as stories without the erotica. Very creative. Under really have to admit that it felt like the old switcheroo. If the title had been different, and not centered in on the lesbian shapeshifter cat, I wouldn't have felt cheated. Had each of the stories sold as singular short stories it might not have felt so weird. But then it took me so long to get through all of these stories and so many of them just were not interesting to me-- I nearly quit several times.

All in all, I am just happy to be finished with this book.

I was given this book free for an honest review. This is a short story that is very complete. I actually would love it to be expanded a bit. The story starts with Sabella as a child who is a government project and can shape shift into a domestic cat. She grows up and becomes a college teacher and finds love and romance with the daughter of her handler from the program. The story is very well written and believable. In this book they included 20 other short stories as well. Not all are f-f but they are enjoyable as well.
