Bear shifter Brett Green has hidden away in the forest for years, keeping to himself and avoiding long-term interaction. When an injured raven he nurses back to health turns out to be shifter Kerry Fine, he finds himself with one mischievous half-naked house guest. This grumbly bear shifter soon falls for Kerry’s seductive lips, and shows him his true dominant side. But before they can be happy for long, a rogue shifter crashes through their new relationship. Finding his fated mate will force Brett to come face-to-face with the dangerous bear inside him—but with Kerry’s love, he’ll finally put the past to rest and start over.

This was a nice, quick read with some steaminess and action-suspense. The story is fast paced, speeding up as it goes along. The MC's were immediately attracted and fell for each other pretty quickly. Kerry likes for Brett to show his dominant, take charge side in bed (but this never crosses over to a true dom/sub kind of thing) and they have some pretty hot sex. Their chemistry seems purely physical; there's no mention of them talking, bonding, spending any quality time together outside of bed. Nevertheless, things seem to be moving along smoothly and quickly, but each have pasts that intrude on their relationship. I did feel that gentle, loving Brett's fears in regards to his past and Kerry were sort of unfounded/weak. Kerry's issues are more immediate and bring the real drama to the story. However, thought the resolution to the big crisis was a little tame and left some things unresolved. While enjoyable, I didn't love this one the way I did the first two in the series, however, it's well worth the buy.

I really enjoyed reading Vicious, it was wonderfully written. It definitely deserve 5 star, but there was a chunk of info that was missing from the reason of the attack. But other then that, you a bear who thought all is adult life he killed a boy, when was in his teens by accident. Then have mischief raven shifter who has a starlker, that won't leave him alone. And then there is these Roque shifter trying to tear them apart. With little magic thrown in the mix.
I was given this story for a honest review.

I really enjoyed the story. I don't normally read this type but love the paranormal. Brett was bitten as a young man and had to training on how to control his bear. He kept himself from others. He rescues a raven one day. Kerry is attacked by a hawk while running from someone. Being rescued by Brett was the best thing. They fall in love but trouble is around the corner. It was a good, fast read. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This couple had great chemistry, although it was mostly lust and physical, the story was so short for love to be there, for me at least. I liked that it was a raven and bear, and the other shifters too. I'll have to go back and read the previous stories in the series!

I received for an honest review.
I loved Brett and Kerry.
Kerry proved to Brett that he was not vicious, but he knew he was gentle and loving. Kerry was able to prove it to him.
So wonderfully written.
