Perfectly Bad: Pierce

Rate this book
Kidnapped by a killer
He stepped closer and I backed against the wall. My voice shook, “Are you going to force me?”

His nostrils flared.”Is that what you want?” His eyes gleamed and a shock beat through my body. I wanted to smack that grin right off his face.
When I want something from somebody, I’ll take what they love the most. I wanted old man Grace’s club? So I kidnapped his curvy, sassy daughter. I didn’t give much thought to her when I slung her over my shoulder and carried her away. She was only collateral. But they say that opposites attract, right?

I have to hold the little minx close or she makes all kinds of havoc. That’s where the real trouble starts. However close I hold my feisty prisoner, the urge to hold her closer and tighter gets stronger. It uncoils like a fat, sleeping python then it lengthens and hardens and nothing will make it sleep until it has fed.

He’s hot as hell, but he’s a ruthless killer
He took me hostage just to steal my daddy’s club. I needed to show him that I wasn’t like the paper-thin dancers and models who flowed into his arms and his bedsheets like a tide. I wanted to smack that smirk right off his chiseled face.

The longer he holds me in his power and try as hard as I might, I can’t push away the thoughts of how it will be if he turns his brutal force on me. Can I resist him?

This standalone, novel-length adventure races with passion, pulses with action, and climaxes again and again, rises higher and higher to a full, complete, satisfying and surprisingly happy ever after ending. It’s a bad boy romance like no other and you’re going to love it.

He was hot and wasn't opposed to using force to get what he wanted from her dad, but he never forced her. Boy he did he hold out for a long time before he went after what he truly wanted. I was really confused about why he was buying up land.

A ruffian who runs his mafia business with an iron grip and a feisty girl who defies him eery step of the way. That's a good match!

One of the best recurring themes for a heroine to end up in the clutches of the dark hero is by owing a debt. That's how Princess ends up in Pierce's power. She's led a sort of secluded life though she knows how to handle the kind of rich Wall stress bosses that have fun at her dad's club.

With a very cocky and descriptive prose, the author pushes this young woman against the ruthless expertise of Pierce. I liked their verbal sparring. And it was shocking and enlightening to see the man's business dealings up close and personal.

Most of the story is devoted to Mr. Agostini's dealings and plans, that's how he and Princess get to know and appreciate each other's intelligence. That was well executed.

The writing has an impersonal quality to it. Even though I dislike it when characters have imaginary sex as an appetizer before the real act takes place, I admit that the scenes when it actually happens were phenomenal. And the way Princess takes charge and uses Pierce's own rules against him was pure genius.

And it ends with a bang full of action of all kinds and a fun, sexy-as-hell climax. Enjoy!

DNF @ 15%.

This h was awful. First of all, her name is Princess which is one of the worst names you could give a girl. Second, she calls her father "daddy," which is so annoying and childish. Third, she acted like a total brat. Plus, the story didn't flow and the writing was choppy. Top it off with zero chemistry between the couple and I am done.

Alice May Ball has given her readers a skillfully written bad boy mafia romance story that grabs you from the cover and has you turning the pages to see how the story unfolds. Perfectly Bad: Pierce has a great mix of action, passion, lust, kidnapping, attraction, surprises, suspense, and a whole lot of naughty thrown in. It's compelling and fast-paced and will captivate you from start to finish.

I voluntarily review an advanced readers copy of this book.

WOW!!! My first book by Alice May Ball and I can officially say I am a fan. This book was fantastic.
What a strong heroine Princess is. She is the daughter of a nightclub owner who has a strong gambling habit and has racked up a lot of debts. She loves the nightclub. It's her entire life but her father's choices have led to major consequences that she will have to be a part of even though she had no part in the debts. So in walks Pierce. He is known for bringing the mafia to wall street. He is known as a "one time only playboy" that is arrogant, cocky, sexy as sin, and no fear of anything til Princess walks in and basically knocks his world off its axis and breaks through his tough exterior. Pierce kidnaps Princess to basically use her as collateral to get her father to do as he asks. These two are so alike it's comical to read through their banter. They basically light a fire in each other and when they ignite.....THEY EXPLODE. These two basically have a very rocky start with one another but find themselves drawn to each other romantically in ways they have never experienced and they end up helping each other with their issues that they began with. He helps her with her club and the debts her father made and she helps him with one of the biggest deals he has ever done also helps bring down a very dangerous man. Alice did an incredible job with the development of the characters and giving us a clear understanding of each and their roles. This book was an edge of your seat thrilling read. A 5 star must read for any Bad Boy Romance Book Lovers.

This was my first time reading anything by Alice May Ball and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing story. Ms Ball has given us a story that will suck us in and keep us there from start to finish and will leave us wanting more from this author. This whole story will have you on the edge of your chair waiting to see what will happen next. The author has written a real great story and the surprises were outstanding ,and everything else about this amazing story was flawless. This is Pierce Agostini and Princess Grace's touching story. As we started to read this story Pierce is doing 2 things the first one is getting some information from a woman and the sating his lust on her ,but the second big one was checking out Princess fathers club. There is a reason way Pierce needs her father's club ,but isn't willing to let anyone know his plans until he is really to divulge the reason. So to did what he wants he kidnaps Princess and holds her against her will. He does it to unsure he father does what he wants, and that is to allow him to take over the club .But he's only holding her because he figured her father would do anything to protect her and give in. But what he didn't predict was that she's on every strong woman, and the other problem is her father has a gambling problem , but can everything change what Pierce wants or will it just totally blow up in his face,or can he loose everything that he bargained for. Princess has been think about a way out of this mess by escaping from him. Is it possible that her bet the club that he built up from the ground ,and she hope he just didn't just let her be taken. The attraction between Pierce and Princess was hot and sizzling ,but it took awhile before their did anything about it .But the way the author wrote it was amazing in letting us know through their fantasies of what they really wanted to do to each other. But I think the built was just as good and the real thing was. the story is filled with suspense ,action and all the characters made this one excelling story. I could go on and tell you more about this great story ,but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this story, because you won't be disappointed.

I was excited about the book, and I was really into the story as it started off with Pierce. But, as much as I tried, I couldn't stick with it. The heroine was very difficult for me to appreciate. I understood Pierce to an extent, and his actions. Princess (I also had a difficult time getting over the name. Maybe because I have 3 daughters and reading 'princess' puts me in the mind of a Disney character, so it may be a personal bias) was extremely difficult for me to relate to on any level. And, in reading about her as a character I was detached from, I still couldn't logically understand why she did half of what she did, or why Pierce was even attracted to her instead of put off. Well, I guess there was physical attraction. But, I look for more that connects characters to get invested in the story. I continued to read, hoping that I'd reach that 'Aha' moment and it would all make sense. But, at 50%, I appreciated Princess even less and still could not figure out the attraction, or exactly what it was that was pulling the characters. It felt like they were just thrown together for the story's sake.

I did not want to rate the book since I didn't complete it. But, I did want to leave a review as I agreed to do so when receiving the ARC. I understand that my review doesn't reflect everyone's preferences in books, this is simply how I personally felt. I just had no desire to read about Princess anymore.

I loved this book! It was amazing and really emotional in places to the point, yes keep a box of tissues handy when reading!
Princess has grown up alone with her father, and together they run their club, Hotsteppas. Its not until they recieve a visit from Pierce that Princess realizes just how bad her father's gambling debt is. He returns the next day, and her life changes forever...
Pierce is a shrewd business man who is willing to kill if you cross him. He lives by certain rules with his women, one night, one time, no repeats EVER! With his gorgeous looks and the size of his bank account, he can pick and choose who he wants and when he wants, all women except Princess!!!
Their passion is on a slow burn and gets deeper by the day. She is his prisoner yet he treats her with the best of everything. He wants investors, she wants her club returned to her... Eventually working together and kicking some serious ass, can they both get what they want? But have the rewards gotten higher? Will the passion ever be explored? Will they ever open their hearts and let each other in? Or has too much happened and its just not meant to be?

Pierce is your everyday bad boy American gangster. Making deals and closing bargains whether it's the hard way or the easy route. So when he comes across a club he wants. He goes for it and takes the owner daughter Princess as hostage.... But unknown to him, she could be his downfall or something so much more if he sees past her fathers troubles.
Princess helps her dad with running his club. So when she gets grabbed out of nowhere. And is now a basically a well kept hostage by the handsome Pierce, who she would love to hate. But keeps kinda melting for. So when Pierce starts to gets into some binds and the Russians mobsters start causing some trouble. Will she stand by and let him sink or will she help him and maybe sink into his arms?

I received this book for an honest review.
This is the first book I have read of this author and I really liked what I read. Holy hotness! We have new a badass scorching hot ganster alpha. This story sure kept you on your toes with all the different twists and turns and at one point I thought I was gonna get whiplash. Pierce and Princess have a slow smouldering chemistry that they both tried and failed to disguise. It built slowly and with that you were able to connect a lot more with the characters as it was like you were there with front row seats watching unfold before your very eyes. I couldnt put the book down.

Perfectly Bad was a great mobster book. I really enjoyed this one a lot it was a great roller coaster ride through out the entire book. Pierce Agostini is a millionaire bad boy who runs New York he has it all and is in control of everything and anyone. Princess is kidnapped by Pierce and being held for the club that her dad owns. Pierce is a arrogant and rich and powerful he was my favorite character through out the book. Princess was kinda of a pain in the beginning but than she warmed my heart in the middle of the book. This is diffently a good book to curl up with at night and read and relax.

Incredible book! Pierce Agostini is a bad boy. A real bad boy! A billionaire mobster who can have any woman he wants. Beautiful women who would give anything to have one night with him. Because that's all he's willing to give. One night. When he kidnaps Princess and holds her for collateral, he has no idea that she may be the one to hold his heart hostage. She's beautiful. She's strong. And she certainly gives Pierce a run for his money. Throw in a Russian mob boss who is determined to destroy Pierce, and you have one hell of a wild ride. I absolutely loved this book and I look forward to reading more by Alice May Ball.

I received an ARC for an honest review.
I enjoyed this book. It took a bit for me to get into the groove of this book. However, once I did I couldn't put it down until I was done. Pierce is not your typical gangster. Yes he is a badass and demands respect, but he isn't power hungry and a mean s.o.b. Like a few of the other characters. Princess is a strong charachter. Although she is willful, she is not stupid and almost an equal match for Pierce. I liked how the story line flowed to have some danger, but also some romantic element to bring these two strong characters together.

Received an ARC for a honest review………
Not your typical BBM book. Pierce and Princess are both strong, determined characters. The book is well written, fast paced, with some interesting twists and turns. I like that that Pierce and Princess didn’t fall instantly into bed, but developed a relationship, even though it was short and intense. The book was a good change of pace. Well done Alice!!

Pierce is a guy that takes what he want and doesn't give to shits about anybody or what they say about him. Princess father just sold his club to Pierce. Pierce wants Princess to work for him and she refuses. Pierce then takes Princess hostage. I loved the story line and plot. Had great twist and turns with surprises mixed in. I received a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Pierce Agostino is the man!

This is definitely my type of man. He could handle all of her personalities. Her spoiled little ways would not work with Pierce. Definitely worth the read and on to the next one...

I liked this book as a so so read. It wasn't as well written as I thought it would have been. The way that Pierce related to Princess was somewhat boring. For a gangster type he was too mushy with not much backbone it seemed. The whole hostage thing was a bit lame since she really was allowed to do anything she wanted. I think the story was not interesting to me. I would have liked to see Callahan and Calhoun break and with more exciting happen is then basically babysitting Princess. It was an ok book to read if you like slow love stories you know the ending to before you finish the book.

I love a Mafia book. Even better a Russian Mafia book (I think they're known as Bratva, I particularly like Bratva books) The mafia dons are always gorgeous with troubling pasts, living in their father's shadows, proving themselves to be merciless, until the right woman comes along. Love. Love. Love.
This was not good. It wasn't great writing. It wasn't a really well thought out storyline. It just wasn't good.
The heroine's name is Princess. It's not her job title, nor her nickname. Her actual christian name is Princess. The chemistry with Pierce was non-existent. Non-existent. And they both fantasised about the sex, more than they were actually having it.
Steer clear.
