Your Plan B: Because giving birth doesn't always go to plan

Rate this book
My name is Ruth Briddon, author of 'Being Sarah Chilton (a guide for all mums when the sh*t hits the fan). I am a survivor of PND and have written this booklet from personal experience. I passionately believe that my PND would have been identified and probably treated sooner, had I been taught the importance of preparing mentally for birth. This is also applicable to birthing partners. Postnatal Depression statistics and also those for Postnatal Post Traumatic Stress Disorder show that we all need to prepare mentally for birth. Would you be blasé about a new job you were starting? A job that involved life changing decisions? The answer to this is no. Being a parent, especially for the first time, should be treated as if you were starting a new job. Download your 'Plan B' now, because life doesn't always go to plan.
