This is a 5 volume set of the newest editions of the now famous ExamKrackers MCAT Manuals. You'll find everything that you need to know to score your best on the MCAT.
Wasn’t this exact book.. it was an MCAT prep book written by the pompous Lauren Curtis of Altius test prep.. read every word of his text book twice.. and came out a better/worse man for it.
What a page-turner! Seriously though, I must have read this series of MCAT prep books at least 10 times over. I owe my decent MCAT score to these books. They really helped me to improve my test scores.
These books were very helpful in preparing for the MCAT. I had looked through others, but in my opinion, these are the best--most utilitarian. Of course, like any other test prep, a lot of its usefulness comes by putting in the time. If you spend hour after hour poring through these pages and practicing, when you really feel like doing something more entertaining, this should help you get a good score, as it did me. Good luck to all of you!
This is a good book for studying for the MCAT in a short amount of time. I found the questions sometimes more tricky and/or irrelevant to the passage than the actual MCAT questions. That being said, these are the only books I used and I got a 37, so either the books are good or I'm a genius. Maybe a little of both.
I actually have the 7th edition. Probably the best MCAT books I've read. I am done with these books. They were helpful... but the real test will be how well prepared I am for my exam in a couple weeks.
