Emma is an up-and-coming actress, trying to make her way out of the low-budget world of made-for-TV movies into the big league of major motion pictures. Having landed her first big role on the set of a new romantic comedy, Emma meets her co-star, (former) king of the A-list, Damian Jones, only to find that the on-screen hero isn’t always the off-screen man.
Damian has been on top for a while, and he’s starting to feel the effects of the altitude. Having always played it safe with his career, Damian feels himself beginning to slip into irrelevance. Meeting his ravishing co-star reignites that old passion, but it may just be too late to turn things around.
When a past indiscretion comes back to haunt Emma, she and her new co-star are driven together in a strange intrigue of blackmail and deception. Things only get worse when a troubled woman surfaces, and she wants Damian all to herself… no matter what.
Flashing Lights is the perfect mix of seduction and cynicism, an often irreverent picture of the darker side of Hollywood as seen from two perspectives, each with plenty to hide.
* This sexy steamy bad boy romance is perfect for fans of Joanna Blake, Devon Hartford, M.S. Parker, Sabrina Paige, Winter Renshaw, Vanessa Waltz and Dani Wyatt *

I enjoyed reading this book. I loved Emma's character and the interactions with Damian were crazy at first. This is Emma's first big break as an actress and she's not heard things about her co-star. Damian likes to throw people off with his demeanour and does a good job of that with Emma. She thinks he's crazy.
Damian has a twin sister Danna and she is also his agent. But unfortunately, she's dealing with a medical diagnosis so she's not doing her best right now.
Then throw in a stalker for Damian, a perfectionist director and an even crazier ex-boyfriend for Emma and you have a good story. Some hot chemistry too!
I will definitely keep looking for more from this author.
With Emma being an up and coming actress, she gets her big break opposite of her crush Damian Jones. Emma's first impression of his is that he is an ass and doesn't want to be around him unless it's filming. When an ex comes back to blackmail Emma she goes to Damian for help. The attraction is there and they take it to the next level but they both have issues from the past and present that they need to get worked out. Will it be just s movie fling or something more?

Great read about two actors named Damian and Emma, who meet for the first time on the set. Emma is a newcomer, who has had a thing for her costar growing up till she met him. Damian has been acting for while, he thinks he's God's gift. When these two get together, their pasts come up to bite them. Can they get through this? This book includes three extra book. First extra book is called Escort. Second extra book is called The Job. The last extra book is called roomies. Must read.

Emma gets her big break in a movie starring opposite from Damian. He is a seasoned actor and offers to help her get into the swing of things. They become friends. Damian is dealing with a crazy stalker and Emma has an old boyfriend blackmailing her. Some of this gets a little twisted and dark but in the end they find a way to make it work. Fun book to read.
A fun read. Emma and Damian are actors in the same film. Emma is a relative unknown, Damian is well known. They both have insecurities. Add in some ghosts from past relationships, blackmail and a stalker and you have an interesting story.

I hate to say this but I was not really impressed with this book. I thought it was moving too slow and then just started jumping around. I really do love claire adams and her books, just not this one.
