It starts with dog evolution and genetics, which is what I study, so that part was a bit too superficial to my taste.
There are a lot of curiosities and I did learn quite a few new things about breeds, rare breeds, dogs in popular culture and stuff. But it's a very superficial book in general, for introductory purposes.
I really really like the artwork throughout the book though.
