When an ultra-sexy idea becomes a reality, the lives of best friends Sandy, Callie, and MaryLynn change in ways none of them could have guessed. Over drinks on a girls’ night out, Sandy tells the others of a dream she she’d hosted an all-nude party for a few of her closest friends, including Callie and MaryLynn. Sandy dismisses it as nothing more than a funny dream, and Callie is characteristically scornful, but MaryLynn thinks it would be way fun. After another drink, Sandy decides that although she feels conflicted, part of her really does want to throw this party. Can three beautiful and talented twenty-somethings learn to let go of their inhibitions and embrace their naughty sides? Could a stark-naked soiree possibly be a success? Does this make them nudists, exhibitionists, or just free spirits? And will they have dates? They’re about to discover whether this exercise in undress is just what they needed, or the worst mistake they could possibly make.
Only very mildly erotic and, apart from a couple of very brief "self-loving" mentions, not explicit. In that sense less than I expected, so not 4*. It was, however, an engaging and good story, pretty well written and moderately well developed characters.
I have enjoyed reading this book, it is lighthearted and gives you a good view on how people react to friends and colleagues decide on trying a naked life style.
This is an unusual, and good book. It doesn't have the characters trying to find a reason not to love each other, it does put them in a strange situation though.
Somewhere between three and four stars. Not a strong plot, more of a comedy of manners, a nice container for dialog that's fun and reveals the characters. Kind of a girl friends together kind of book. It has a certain charm.
