Hello!
A sexy uniformed military man, in a piano bar? In the rain? Lord how I wished I was Sallie!
Muffy Wilson owns this genre. Her writing is classy and exquisite with a sensual twist that leaves you panting for more. I have read a lot of erotica books they portray more of porn than storytelling. The characters she crafts combined with the tale she tells makes for an excellent read. I cannot praise or recommend this author enough.

Muffy Wilsons’ new book Consenting Hearts grabs your heart for more and more amour each page you turn. Her main character, Sailie, is a strong, attractive, independent woman who knows what she wants and is disgusted with her latest boyfriend. When her heart is wounded, she sets on a night to assert her control over whomever she wants. She goes into a lounge to meet up for an night of passion...She meets a Navy Seal, Dylan. There is an instant attraction. When she sings along with the pianist, the ballad, My Funny Valentine, her soul breaks through the audience, enrapturing Dylan, even more. All he has known is his wartime experience with other men bonded by their military uniforms and ultimately, only manly companionship. Sailie enjoys sex. The plot thickens with another character as the night progresses. But in the end Dylan and Sailie are as the author writes, consenting hearts, to find that rapturous night of sex that grows into love. You have to read the entire story to read between the scenes as to how the story will end. Or is there an end? I give 5 stars to Consenting Hearst, a romanticist’s delight.

What do you think about when your planning for Valentine's Day? How about a sexy hunk of a man in a uniform and a hot blond singer with a bod to kill ? WOW!!!!!!!!!!! If this book doesn't make you sit up , stick your nose in this book, and don't come up except for air ( and maybe not for that either) then your not reading what I read. A short steamy story about two lonely people meeting in a bar on Valentine’s Day. When Dylan, a military man home for a couple of weeks meets Sailie who has just broken up with her boyfriend sparks fly. Lots of sparks but will they do anything about it? Enjoyable read.

A Very Special Read!
I'm not normally one for this day of the year as it's usually pretty depressing for me, BUT
Ms. Wilson weaves magic into her words and takes you away to long forgotten dreams and desires. Consenting Hearts made me forget myself as I was swept between the passion burning on the pages. Nicely done!

Gifted copy for honest review.
I really enjoyed reading Consenting Hearts. This is about Sailie who is feed up with her boyfriend and Dylan a Navy Seal on leave. They meet in a piano bar and hit it off immediately. Sailie invites Meesa to join them, however, later changes her mind. Dylan and Sailie fall fast and hard.

This novella was a sexy fun read, just perfect for Valentine's Day. Love can find you, even when you don't expect it. The interplay between the main characters was super hot and the twist in the story was one I didn't see coming.

Oh so exciting, this book had me needing a cold afterwards. The steam level is really high in this book. It has wonderful characters that are so detailed you can actually see them in your head. I know I said the steam level is really high in this book but it doesn't go overboard with it and take over the story. It's an amazing book that you definitely should read.

Muffy Wilson's "Consenting Hearts" is a sexy standalone! It's a quick read...a little bit of sexy candy! Be sure to keep your vibrator handy! Lots of sexy foreplay and main action. I loved the Meesa element and that Sail is bi. I will definitely read more from Muffy Wilson!

A fast paced and lusty story about Sallie and Dylan.
For my liking it's a little too fast paced of a story for me and with the little story there was it was more about her sexual encounters either by herself of with the pianist at the piano bar.

Up until about three quarters of the way through the book I was going to rate it with three stars, but the last quarter pushed it up to a four for me.
About ten pages in I predicted what was going to happen, and I really didn’t want the story to go that way. A lot of the erotic shorts I have read always end with a twist, and most of the time my predictions are right. However, with this story I was wrong, and I was so glad I was. I was left satisfied with the outcome and turnaround of events, and it really made the whole read very enjoyable.
I found myself having to reread a fair portion, but it didn’t distract me from the story or make me lose interest.
The authors writing style was nice, and the descriptions of sensations and emotions were spot-on. I did, however, want more depiction of the surroundings. I found it hard to submerge myself into the scene at Sailie’s house because the author didn’t go into enough detail for me to be right there with them in the room.
The erotic scenes were good, I didn’t skim them, which I do a lot of the time because authors get too repetitive and quite boring, but this author didn’t. I thought that the last erotic scene was short and sweet and not really needed as there was plenty of action throughout the book. Overall though, the sex scenes were well written, and although naughty, there was always an element of romance woven throughout, which I loved.
At the end of the story there is a lovely paragraph where Dylan talks to Sailie about life and seizing the moment, and with that paragraph, for me, the whole story was wrapped up beautifully.

Sailie is done with male testosterone, especially her boyfriend. She goes after work, on Valentine's Day to Blu's Piano Bar. Her intentions were to hook back up with the woman from last night that plays the piano at the bar, but when the bar was crowded and a hot navy SEAL gave up his bar stool to her, she's rethinking her plan for the night.
Dylan is on leave from the Navy and is at Blu's Piano bar just to have a drink and enjoy life. Since his deployment, what he has seen and done in combat has changed his life. He now appreciates every second and just wants to take it all in and make every second count. He gives up his seat to a beautiful red head named Sailie. They begin talking and the chemistry between them is unreal!
As they talk, they decide to spend a night of passion. Little does Dylan know, but after singing with the woman at the bar and silencing the place with her beautiful voice, Sailie has invited her to spend a night with her and Dylan. But, will she go through with it after her and Dylan can't seem to get enough of each other? Dylan wants to live every minute like it's his last with Sailie and appreciate his time exploring every inch of her.
This book gets a 3.5 from me. It was a novella so it was a quick read. But, for me, it lacked something. Not sure what that was, maybe it's just me. It was a passionate story, sweet, and very well written.

This was my first time reading anything by Muffy Wilson and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this great story. This story will have you sitting on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The main character ,Saili is a beautiful strong independent woman that know what she totally wants and goes for it. But she is totally disgusted with her latest boyfriend ,and her heart is so wounded that she must try and assert whom and what she wants in a man. So one night she decides to go out to a lounge to see who to hook up with ,for a night of passion. But then she meet the hot and sexy Dylan a Navy Seal and instantly they have an attraction to each other. And as the pianist starts to play Saili sings the song"My Funny Valentine " and Dylan's heart melts for her even more. But all Dylan has known for is wartime and other man in Military Uniforms for companionship, but to our surprise the writer gives us a new plot with let another character , as the night goes on. So will Saili and Dylan be happy together forever ? I could go on and tell more about this sweet story ,but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this great story ,you won't be disappointed.

Consenting Hearts by Muffy Wilson What a fantastic ride! I was completely entranced within the pages of this book as soon as I picked it up! Sallie is a 'naughty', sexy girl and the hunky Navy Seal, he is edible!
I've read plenty of erotic stories and most of them fall short to this one. I love the way that Ms. Wilson is able to keep it classy and still hot! Ms. Wilson is a word-weaving master in this genre!
This book is listed as a Valentines Day book, but let me tell you what, i didn't read this on Valentines Day. You don't have to be in the V-day mood to enjoy this book. This is an all around great book that could be enjoyed all year long. It is filled with steamy sex and budding romance! Enjoyed this book from start to finish!
I highly recommend this to anyone of adult age! You will love the way Ms. Wilson writes!

Sailie needs a distraction so she ends up in a bar called Blu again but of course it's crowded and there is no where to sit. A big marine offers her his stool and they strike up a conversation his name is Dylan and he is on leave and her attraction to him is so strong she has to get herself off in the ladies room. Sailie has Dylan join her at the piano bar where he hears Sailie sing and he is blown away but he also sees that Sailie is eyeing the lounge singer. I was surprised at how forward Sailie seemed but it seemed to work in her favor, hopefully it will stay that way.

Muffy Wilson’s Contenting Hearts is a tribute to lovers on Valentine’s Day. Sailie’s meeting with Dylan is unconventional and out of the ordinary, yet in the end their love for each other was strong and true. There are a lot of sizzling passionate scenes between the two, which will have you running to the shower, or into a rainy downpour. I dare you to think of a rainy downpour the same way after reading this book. Enjoy!

This is my first Muffy Wilson read and man will Consenting hearts was a perfect Valentine's Day read. its steamy and super hot, theres even a twist in the story that I didn't see coming. Theres an instant attraction between Sallie and Dylan. They say love finds you in the strangest ways and that is exactly what happened with Sallie and Dylan. It was only suppose to be one night of passion but what happens when that one night is what you want all of your nights?
