Such a great suprise!

I just love this series. My hope is that you keep it going. The characters have become friends, and I can picture Mobile in my head as the beautiful city by the shore. The ghosts are just an added plus, lol!

This series has been without a doubt the most unsatisfying I have ever encountered. While the concept and characters were interesting there was no way it should have stretched into 5 separate stories and throughout each subjects were brought up and then dropped with no resolution at all. I have been an avid reader for 30+years and would absolutely not recommended this series to anyone and as a book lover that is almost painful for me to say.

This series started good, but is just too far fetched now. Finishing only because I've got the books, and invested the money.

The Stars We Walked Upon: Seven Sisters Book 5 is by M. L. Bullock. Carrie Jo’s dreams are out of control. Ashland has his own group of ghosts who are wanting revenge for his family. His childhood friend, Detra Ann Dowd must face her own ghosts and wants to leave mobile to protect Henri Devereaux from the ghosts. They have already taken one boyfriend of hers. Carrie Jo and Ashland can’t figure out what happened to make these ghosts need to take revenge upon his family. They also need to figure out how Karah Cottonwood is related to Ashland’s family, who Delilah Iverson is and what is her connection to Karah and Isla Beaumont.

I loved the books before these. However, I have decided to stop in the middle of this one. For some reason this one is all over the place and I simply cannot follow it. I feel like they should have compiled this entire series into two or three books. Separating it the way that they did and keeping this one so scattered and all over has made me put it down for good. I see others made it through the entire series but sadly that will not be me. Although I saw a few similar reviews on this one. I enjoyed all the earlier books within this series but I am not tuned in enough to even worry about what I could be missing. It’s a pass for me.

This next installment of this series was very nice. Bullock once again introduces yet another perspective as well as new characters. Once must realize that “Southern relations” are far-reaching and extended cousins often show up unexpectedly! The storyline to this part of the family history was very interesting and helped tie up some loose ends. There was also more “happiness” amidst the supernatural which made the reading more enjoyable. While this is not the best series I have ever read, it does keep me wondering who and what will show up next!

Ok. I was so enamored by the book that I missed my shows. It was awesome...just not long enough. It was exciting and interesting, although I figured out early that Leonore should be dead. I was wrong though because I thought she killed Aleezabeth! It was really good! I can't wait to read the next one!

*How will this end???*

Each book seems to end with a cliffhanger of sorts and I cannot see how this will ever end. There are quite a few characters and now I am in it I need to see the climax of this series. Sometimes the characters from the past seem to blend seamlessly with the present so although these are quick reads you do need to keep on top of the past and the present

The Stars We Walked Upon

Not my favorite in the series but still good. I like how with each new book we learn another scandalous truth about the inhabitants of Seven Sisters. I also like the teasers for the next series. Well done.

Enjoyed this series a quick but engaging story with lots of characters and a suitable ending, I did find a few un answered areas but work on the theory that time has happened between each book so things have move forward without them being written

Great ending for this series!

I look forward to following Mrs. Bullock into the next series. The characters in this series seem to come alive (along with the ghost of the past) A very good read!

More to the Story

More of the past is revealed as well as the present. The book continues to draw you in and longing to know what is going to be the ending. So now I'm onto the sixth book. It continues to fascinate and I look forward to the next piece of the story!

Crazy family

I guess this is what it’s like when there are many psychopaths in one family. I guess the moral of this story is that money isn’t everything when you are surrounded by crazy

story is better than book #4. Still finding gramatical errors in the book that cause some issue but better than book #4. I have the entire series but trying to decide if I'll finish. The story seems to be dragging on at this point.

Spell binding

Written as riveting as the other books in this series. Strong bonds of friendship, mystery and love make this series so intriguing and addicting.

A little bit more

The more I read, the more I learn about what happened to the women of Seven Sisters. Would hope to learn more about what happened to Calpurnia.

I am so torn. I really like this series but there are flaws in the storytelling. I'm still confused how a character that dies, for sure dies, can still be alive in later books. I would have felt better about the entire series but for this one glitch. I love Mobile and lived and worked there for seven years and the character of the city comes shinning through as if it's a character in and of itself. The streets are described perfectly and the eccentricity of the people is accurate as well. I only wish the books were longer and that the one issue I mentioned previously was corrected.

Interesting weaving of tales in different centuries

It was strange that it appeared that Mia died twice, once in this book and also in a prior book. TD shows up at the end of the book and it is unknown if he was a ghost. Delilah's story in the 19th century also seems unfinished. A few books back Carrie Jo found her obituary and I cannot remember what her married name was. The unanswered questions lead me to wonder if there is more coming in the future. The five book(lets) should be combined and made into two books. Overall it was an interesting twisting story.

The Continuation

This was an interesting although sometime confusing book. I don't normally read books about the supernatural, but these have kept my interest. The five short books could have easily been made into two longer ones. The flipping from real characters to supernatural ones throughout the series was often times confusing. Even with that issue for me, all of these books were quick, interesting reads.

In this book of the series, it was presented differently & had multiple POVs. It was some times confusing trying to remember which pov you were reading trom, since the "voice" still sounded the same.

Looks like there's only one more in this series & I'm ready for a couple characters to be done for good, so I'm ready to see how it ends.

Absolutely loved this book & series! Am highly anticipating the final book to see how everything ties up together! The only reason it took me so long to read was bc I wouldn't pick it up unless I knew I had time to really get into it!

While the series overall was very good, I felt like this book was grasping at a story that wasn't totally there. Then it left with an ending with many unanswered questions. If there are more coming that's great I look forward to my questions being answered but I do not think that is the case.

Disappointed

After reading all the books in this series I am disappointed at the :O hum ending of the last book. The author did well till about midway through and then seemed to lose focus of what the book was about. Maybe this series was one book too long.
