Alternate cover edition of ASIN B01BM1SMRS

A ruined reputation. A second chance. A conflict between love and ambition.

Genevieve Porter was forced to flee the art world of Manhattan after she blew the whistle on the shady practices of a powerful dealer. Now she owns a small gallery in the scenic beach town of Cambria, California. For Gen, this is a place to regroup; she’s poised to restore her name in the art world and return to New York in triumph.

When she meets Ryan Delaney, a cattle rancher who’s more than he appears to be, she’s ready for a sexy roll in the hay—literally. But as her feelings for him become more than casual, she realizes that his roots on the Central Coast go back generations, and it’s going to be a challenge to lure him away from his family’s land.

If they’re going to make a life together, one of them will have to give up old ideas, old goals—old feelings about what success means, and what makes a place a true home.

Another good read from Seed. The conflict catalyst that leads to the eventual HEA made me want to punch the 2 main characters in the throat. You wouldn't think that two individuals in their 30s would be so presumptuous or irritating in their assumptions, but evidently they are. Truly, all they needed to do was have a simple conversation with each other... at several opportunities. Overall, though, it was a good read.

I just finished reading this, the second in the Main Street Merchants series, and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first book, Moonstone Beach. These reads are light, easy, and relaxing -- a perfect escape for me after a long work day. I like that with each book, each one of the four women characters, first introduced in Moonstone Beach, get their own story. And yes, having visited the Central Coast often, I love the setting.

Linda Seed has a nice touch -- the dialogue flows and seems natural, as do the love scenes. This series is perfect for a quiet weekend, a plane ride, or, like I said above, a quick escape. And yes, I've already started the third in the series, and happily just saw that the 4th, Lacey's story, is now available!

The second book in the Main Street Merchants series, this novel follows Genevieve Porter and her attempts to revamp her career after being run out of the Manhattan art scene. Along the way she starts a romance with Ryan Delaney, a local cattle rancher with deep ties to Cambria. Over the course of many months their relationship blooms but is constantly threatened by the fact that Gen wants to move back to Manhattan to pursue her dreams. There’s more spice and more conflict in this novel than in the previous one of the series, though not by much, with a HEA at the end. This can be read as a stand-alone novel in the series as the plot itself is quite separate from what happened in Moonstone Beach.

Gen is so fun to follow in this novel, I think because I personally have ties to art and the art scene. The discussions of art aren’t super involved so it’s easy for the layman to digest, and the plot line following Gen attempting to get her name back on everyone’s lips is entertaining. Gen can be irritating with some of her inner thoughts regarding her relationship with Ryan, though that’s par for the course in a lot of these romance novels as communication issues seem to be the driving force behind most of the choices the MCs make. Girl, just tell him!

Ryan is wonderful in that he is incredibly supportive of Gen and her dreams of opening her own gallery in NYC. Honestly, he’s almost a perfect book boyfriend. There are issues with miscommunication, a bit more than the previous novel in the series, and he absolutely makes some missteps during the height of tension in the novel, but over all he clearly wants what is best for the woman that he has fallen in love with. It’s lovely to see supportive men in romance.

Another hit out of the park for narrator Avie Paige. Her characterizations and voices for the different individuals in this novel was fantastic. There were a few long pauses in the editing on this one, but no other issues were detected in the recording of this audiobook.

I received this audiobook at no-cost from AdoptAnAudiobook.com. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Beautifully Written, Heartfelt Visit to Cambria

Like That Endless Cambria Sky by Linda Seed was everything I hoped it would be and more. From the very first page, I was swept back into the charming, picturesque world of Cambria, California — a place Linda Seed brings to life so vividly, it feels like you’re walking along the cliffs, breathing in the salty ocean air, and strolling through the quaint streets yourself. Her descriptions of the landscape and town are absolutely gorgeous and add so much warmth and authenticity to the story.

What made this book even more special was getting to reconnect with characters from past books. It felt like catching up with old friends, seeing where life had taken them, and how their stories continue to unfold. At the same time, I loved meeting new characters who were just as well-developed and endearing. The balance between familiar faces and fresh personalities made the story feel rich, layered, and completely immersive.

Overall, I truly loved this book. It was heartfelt, beautifully written, and a perfect example of why Linda Seed’s stories are such a joy to read. If you love small-town romances with a strong sense of place and a cast of characters you’ll want to revisit again and again

This is book 2 in Seed's Main Street Merchants series. A great addition to the series that can be read / listened to as a standalone. Our main characters are Genevieve Porter and Ryan Delaney. Gen moved back to town after fleeing a bad work environment in NY but is eager to return to prove herself competent in the art world. Ry is a cattle rancher and thinks he should be drawn to the type of woman that is Gen's friend but the dynamic between Ry and Gen is undeniable and grows. I love the honest moments they share and the vulnerability displayed. Seed delivers a well written and narrated romance that's well balanced with sweet and heat and a beautiful HEA. Definitely looking forward to more in this series.

Wow & again Wow

Loved it can't wait to read the next book which I have ready to read. I liked the fact that Gen wanted to be independent , and how she was fazed by Ryan being so rich. She showed them in New York she would not be messed with this time around.

I love the feeling of family between the girls in this series. They have a closeness, understanding and support that most people hope to find.

I get why Genevieve wants so badly, and works so hard, to head back to NY. It was her goal and she had it taken away from her. Developing something with yummy rancher Ryan only complicates things … but he’s awfully hard to resist. He’s down-to-earth, caring and hardworking. Sexy and smart, he’s got a lot going for him.

I’m a little confused about the depth of the conflict toward the end. I’m not sure I totally understand why things blew up to QUITE the level they did – some of it, but not all of it. But I think that it is handled well and leads to a conclusion that works for everyone.

I’m definitely looking forward to what Seed has for us next. These women (and men) may be different personalities but they are all likable, with a great bond, and are bound to have blast on their road to true love.

(Part of a series, but can definitely stand on its own. I do recommend picking up Moonstone Beach for a fun read.)

Like That Endless Cambria Sky: Main Street Merchants Book 2 is by Linda Seed. This book takes place in Cambria, California. It deals with artists and their personality quirks as well as romance which could be long distance.
Genevieve Porter is jealous and because of that now has a horrible hangover. Her landlady and best friend, Kate, has had her boyfriend, Jackson, move in. Gen is happy for Kate; but feels like there is now a barrier in their friendship. She can no longer depends on Kate to be there and have time to listen to her and they can no longer run in and out of each other’s apartments. Gen knows she will have to get over this and get on with her life. Where is she in her life plans and where does she want to go next? Gen has to figure this out and make plans to fulfill those dreams. Right now, Gen has to pay attention to her art gallery.
Gen plans to invite an unknown artist to Cambria to live in a guesthouse owned by Ryan Delaney and spend five months painting. At the end of that time, she hopes to sell the paintings and launch a new artist. Can she do that from Cambria or will she need to move to New York City? Will Ryan want to go with her or stay here?
The book is very good and takes you into the world of art, both good and bad. Linda has given enough information for you to see that you do not have to be crooked to do well.

Linda Seed continuously writes such quality pieces of work. I am biased when it comes hers You don't want to miss this one, it can be read as a stand alone but it is the second book in a series. I started reading Linda's books in the other way round, so now I am starting from the beginning This book is Gen and Ryan's story an absolutely a well-written romance story with many twist and turns!and felt very real to me. The characters are so well-written that I honestly swear they are very real! You also feel that you are connected to them. Honestly, I can’t think of a thing I didn’t like about this book. It’s how life really is. This book grabs your attention quickly and holds you tight throughout the book highly recommend this grab your copy today you will not be disappointed.

Poor Gen has had a rough go of it. Forced out of the New York Art Scene she relocates to CA and opens her own gallery. She's got her eye on a hunky cowboy named Ryan but seems he only has eyes for one of her good friends, who is not interested!! Deciding to set up an artist in residence program to make a name for herself and get back to New York she comes in direct contact with the gorgeous cowboy. Seems he may have eyes for her afterall. It's not all smooth sailing and the course they take to each other makes for a fun and quick read! Although part of a series, it is easily read as a stand alone. I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.

Received ARC in exchange for an honest review- thank you!

I truly enjoyed this book and could not put it down. It pulled me in from the first page, with its likeable characters and engaging storyline. Between the witty banter of the characters, and the beautifully described Cambria scenery, Linda Seed's novel will appeal to all lovers of a good romance.
There is a first book in this series, but the book can be read as a standalone as well.

Good read

Book 2cin this series. Involves Gen and Ryan. Gen runs her own gallery in Cambria after being blacklisted in the NY art world. Ryan runs his family's ranch. Gen likes Ryan but thinks he is hung up on Lacy. They end up kind of working together when Gen comes up with a plan to revive her NY dreams. They realize they like each other, but of course, we have they huge misunderstanding and break up. Great interactions, well thought out storyline. Next up is Rose's story.

This was a great read, although Gen’s stubbornness was a bit much. Not sure why the characters in this series need to be so immature that they can’t/won’t communicate with their love when things go wrong. They go wrong by discussing and acting on their friend’s opinion instead of being honest. Hope this doesn’t happen in the next one

An entertaining story about a rancher and an owner of an art gallery. I liked how they interacted with each other and their love developed. I would recommend if you want something light to read.
