For the love of sweets in the form of cupcakes and brown thighs.
Keiko is finally getting back on track and the last thing she needs is distractions. Even if the distraction is a well dressed, sexy business owner named Zora.
5 stars. Editing issues aside, I loved this. The characters are so likable and the romance between them was wonderful because their chemistry was off the charts. Zora…whew. Zora that woman had me weak in the damn knees I swear. She’s got so much confidence. She knows who she is and she knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it which I love. She seriously had me swooning. Keiko is the perfect balance for Zora. She’s headstrong and self assured and I really liked her. This was so good and the only thing I’m mad about is that I want more. I will definitely be checking out more from this author because this hit the spot for me.
The chemistry between Zora and Keiko✨. When I'm reading a lesbian romance I want to feel all the feels, Monique Thomas delivered just that. The only complaint I have about this book is that it was too short. I look forward to checking out more books by this author.
I have been in dire need of black representation in lesbian/sapphic books, so I came across this book on KU and thought to myself this would be a great start. At first, there were a few grammar issues that threw me off but I kept it pushing because a good story will always have me even through the slips, especially for indie authors. But then they became worse. The formatting would be different out of nowhere or there would be this long space in between an actual sentence that is still happening and I didn't like it.
What really made me upset was when the author used Zora's name when it was Keiko's POV at the time and I couldn't take it anymore. I finished the book because I want this author to be paid, but I wish they proofread their book before publishing this or at least hired someone to do it for them because editing can be daunting. This had room to be great, but with the grammar issues and the unnecessary information dump, I couldn't enjoy this for what it was supposed to be.
Monique Thomas’ Craving Comfort is like a decadent dessert—sweet, spicy, and gone way too fast! 🍰🔥 From the moment Zora and Keiko locked eyes, the sexual tension was THICC. I mean, whew! The slow-burn build-up had me biting my lip, and when things finally got hot and heavy… let’s just say it was a 4-5 on the 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ scale. Someone grab me a fan because those scenes were STEAMY! 🥵 That said, I would’ve loved to marinate in their relationship a little longer. The romance moved pretty quickly (like, blink-and-you-miss-it fast), and I wanted more tea on their past relationships. ☕ But hey, maybe Ms. Thomas is setting us up for a sequel? 🤞 Because I am READY for round two with these two lovebirds. In the meantime, I’ll be shamelessly stalking Monique Thomas’ other titles because this book turned me into an instant fan. 📚❤️ If you’re into sizzling chemistry, heartfelt moments, and some seriously spicy scenes, Craving Comfort is calling your name! 😏
This was a great read and it kept my attention from the beginning to the end. I was intrigued how both women were fascinated with each other and finally found what they were looking for. The bakery was a delicious place to get the goods.
I quickly read this book and couldn't wait to hear how things unfolded between the main characters. Now I need to go pick up more from this author. It would've been 5 stars, if not for all the grammatical errors.
Monique does it again. The characters are well written and I instantly fell in love with Keiko and Zora. I would definitely recommend this book. Sit back and enjoy the ride. The sex scenes are amazingly written. So amazing it's like a movie. Give us more Monique.
I really loved this story. It is well written and leaves you with a great feeling afterwards. I love books that makes you feel good and this book did it for me.
The best love is the unexpected love and this boom just proved that in its pages! Such a beautiful love story. The sex scenes... Well, were to die for.
