Twists and turns

The author definitely has talent. He is able to write characters that you instantly begin to identify with. The initial storyline is pretty strong as well. The sex scenes are pretty hot too.

He needs to take his time and really develop the characters and give them all a unique voice. Some of the characters like the mother and grandmother are introduced but don't really serve a purpose in such a short read. The ending was rushed and completely turned into a crazyass Kenya Moore straight to DVD movie - which was still entertaining. But the first third of the book shows a writer that clearly has more talent than just the hijinks that he resorts to at the end. Also the grammatical errors really pick up towards the middle to end.

this was a good story, I can't wait to read the second book in the series. Good character development with the main characters: Adonis, who is on the DL, the author shows how black men feel about the gay life style, but lives the DL, with a wife, or girlfriend on the side. Rayvick, whos on the outside looking in, has no knowledge that his partner is on the DL. A good story. Adonis Hill is a User! That is why I gave this book 5 Stars. I enjoyed it.

Very entertaining

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next part of this story. There is one hell of a cliffhanger to this one!
