There are a whole list of things I could say about this book. The bottom line is it's a really fun, humorous, entertaining and enjoyable end of days story. This book is a fantastic way to pass the hours on a road trip, it made the time fly. The story will keep you laughing out loud or smiling continually.
A great cast of characters including but not limited to Lucifer, vampires , cherubs, rogue angels, zombies and more with plenty of action, twists and intrigue to keep the story moving at a nice fast pace. Never a dull moment.
Great narration. Erik Johnson did a great job with the narration. Nice voice, easy to listen to for hours at a time. Clearly spoken. Nice even pace. Really good character voices. Even his female character voices are good. He was able to bring the characters, their humor, sarcasm and the story to life. I would definitely listen to more books he narrates. Very entertaining and enjoyable.

Bill, I honestly must say that your writing style is one I like! I read the opening line and my immediate thought was, "he doesn't talk like THAT!" But it adds flavor to a great story. I tried to only read one chapter at a time, put it down (and) then the next night, read another one as I tend to skim and not read. BUT, this past weekend, I decided to put the book to my face and couldn't put it down!! I have not said that about many books. The imagery was such that me, the reader, could feel myself on this journey. I could picture it completely.
Thank you for taking me on a road trip with some of the oddest people known to man and returning me in one piece. There are some characters in your book that i wouldn't want to mess with!
This book is by far one of the most quality pieces I’ve read. Though not in my personal range of choice, it’s hard to deny the professionalism and craft of this piece. I did greatly enjoy the apocalyptic spin and the aspects of horror it begins to show, and even if it’s not within a category that directly resonates with me, the story is enjoyable regardless.
The characters are greatly written, if a little confusing to keep up with when you take a longer break between reading. Each character has a solid purpose, and none of them were crafted to simply throw away. The story would mot be the same if any one character were missing from this epic plot that unfolds.
Just when you think you know where the story is headed, and you think you’ve got it figured out, the author does a great job of luring you in just to change your perspective of things in a few bombshell paragraphs.
This is a story I would recommend, doubly so if you reach as far into the depths of the imagination as this author did to weave such a true, old-as-time tale that still has a modern twist and sense of adventure as the tale that’s unraveled in this novel.
A crazy twisted tale of the biblical apocalypse, with a happy ending! Yeah. We need happy endings with our own man-made troubles. Also, begone COVID-19 and may God bless those who are afflicted and those who have lost their lives and loved ones.
