This was a great book. It kept you on your toes. I really enjoyed it. Much different than Patricia Rasey other books but just as good. Hopefully we will get to see more one day. Really enjoyed KC and Shar characters!

I have to admit that most 'who done it' books I have solved by at least the middle of the book. This book however, kept me guessing and wanting more.

The balance of the romance story and the murder/mystery story was well written. The story is multifaceted and keeps you on your toes.

KC and Shar compliment each other in many ways. I loved with them, cried with them, and conspired with them. I was totally rooting for them the entire time.

What an action packed and twisted tale of murder and revenge. Loved every heart pounding twist and mind expanding and entertaining moment. This is a story that leaves you wanting more. (but in a good way) KC is such an interesting mystery and they way his history unfolds is nothing short of mind blowing. Sharalee is spunky and innocent at the beginning and completely changed at the end. look out for that small cliff-hanger (love it) Looking forward to more.

Wicked ways!

Facade is an amazingly intricate murder mystery one fueled by lost love and revenge. Patricia does an excellent job of keeping the reader guessing who the killer is and why.
KC is a police detective who is kind of a loner. Mac is the sheriff and KC's only friend. Working together for over 20 years they know each other very well, or so they thought. Sharalee is Mac's daughter and has had a crush on KC since she was 9. The only problem I'd now that she is grown up KC still sees her as a child or so she thinks.

From the opening of a gruesome murder to the very end the only word that comes to mind is WOW. The author tells a tale that is shocking in so many ways. Almost every taboo was touched upon in this book. This small Kentucky town has had it fair share of secrets that someone thinks the men need to atone for. The author holds nothing back in the description of the murders and only reveals small clues here and there that lead to many shocking confessions from the main characters to the killer.

I highly recommend reading Love You to Pieces after this one in anticipation for the conclusion of things that were left hanging between the two books.

I loved this action packed, heart racing book. A serial killer is bumping off citizens in a small town in gruesome ways. What is the connection? Is the Sheriff being set up or is he the killer? The author plotted this story well, I enjoyed watching it gradually unfold. I was kept guessing over the murder and the reasons why until the end. Not so much a cliff hanger at the end but some unanswered questions about who else was involved and what happens next. I hope there is a book 2.

The story was good. KC was definitely an a**. Shar....persistent. I don't know if her persistence was worth it.

This book has a cliffhanger with no book 2 (that I can find). (loses a star for that) Let me know if anyone finds the series to this.

I read from other reviews that Love You to Pieces also has a cliffhanger with no book 2. (??)
