The blurb alludes to Kaiden pursuing Riley pretty hard but that's not really how it goes down. Yeah, he's got the cocky thing going for him but their coming together just seems to be something that just falls into place. There's also more history between the two than it delates. Riley and Kaiden are actually childhood best friends that drifted apart due to geography and circumstances. The story was cute, if at times over the top. Kaiden was actually very sweet and much more than the image he portrayed. Riley has a lot going on and needs support now more than ever. I enjoyed reading the story even if the only bad boyish thing about Kaiden was that he did MMA. :)

I am practically on my knees begging romance authors to NOT DESCRIBE HEROES ATTRACTION TO PEOPLE OTHER THAN THE HEROINE especially after meeting the heroine!

Best Line: H: “I’d do anything for her.” …now prove it

Worst Lines: almost everything the H said in the first four chapters…almost led to a DNF:
H’s thoughts: “I acted like I was making eye contact with everyone, but really I was just scouting the arena for the hottest chicks.” and “I wasn’t too fussy about who I took to bed, either.”

And this is his introduction to us readers…my first impression is


H’s thoughts: “Give me a mature woman any day - much less crap to deal with, and much more fun to be with.” – in order to be with a mature woman you also need to be a mature H



H to h: ““I know, I know, this might seem like I’ve gone insane.” He backed away from me, running his fingers through his hair. “But think about it. You want a child, I want a child, and we already know each other. I know we could parent well together. It just…it makes sense, doesn’t it?””



Now I don’t have a problem with h’s wanting to have a baby (loved ‘Nobody’s Baby But Mine’ by Susan Elizabeth Phillips) but I do have a problem with two relative strangers having a baby together just because they feel like it. Kids are hard work!

Personal Review:
Love story between two childhood friends who lost touch with each other when they were 12yrs old and years later the H becomes a famous MMA fighter and h has been recruited as his newest PR person.

H is having OW drama and OW claims he made her pregnant; h has to make H not appear like the douche he is in public.

H blows hot and cold throughout and h gets my hopes up by being strong but then lets me down by immediately becoming a pushover anytime the H wants something.

The book would have been better if the H wasn’t a manwhore (or at least not for a while before seeing h again) and an immature asshole. I did like that the h and H were childhood friends (not sweethearts) and that they were both nerds when they were young.

BTW…this is a very insta-love. I think they were together (professionally, not romantically) for 3 days and proclaimed their love for each other

Random Ramblings:
•My thanks go to the author for clearly stating this is a standalone with HEA and no cheating
•Hate it when the OW is so clearly a bitch but H still responds to her
•Books like these make me think that you can’t be a smart, confident, self-assured woman and be in love at the same time because apparently as soon as you’re in love (or even lust) all your self-respect flies out the window and you become a pushover who constantly questions your own behaviour e.g. why did I kiss him? I am a professional, why do I let him touch me or talk to me that way etc
•There is nothing wrong with surrogacy or IVF – it won’t make you love the baby less!!
•Both mother and father should be equal in raising their kids so comments like these are not pleasant as it infers that mothers ‘duty’ is their kids while father’s can ‘help out’

h’s thoughts: “and he even took them out on his own to give me the occasional moment of peace when I needed it.”

Fathers are supposed to look after their children just as much as mothers and NOT when mother’s ‘need a break’!

"Bad Boy Baby Daddy" such a aptly named book our hero Kaiden Cross, if you want call the hot Mma fighter that, Kaiden is overly cocky , arrogant and full of himself and let's not forge that your very first impression of hm is that he is a huge manwhore. However manwhore or not is life is about to take a detour . As a child Kaiden had a best freind Ruby, they did everything together she was the light I his dark life more than she ever knew, Kaiden's father was a very abusive drunk; but at the age of twelve when they moved apart not only did they move apart and loose touch but Kaiden's world lost the light.

Know years later he is a champion Mma fighter, manwhore extrodanaire his recent association with a starlet has landed him ain a bit of trouble, the starlet is claiming that she is pregnant with his baby, though Kaiden swears he wore protection and was told by the starlet that she was on birth control and his refusal to own up to the pregnancy is reaking havoc with his overall reputation so his management has hired a new PR team . The team happens to be coming to his fight tonight; so as he comes out into the ring and he is checking out all the hot women in the crowd to see who will be his " date " for the night, he spots someone he has not seen in years Ruby and she is gorgeous.
Kaiden wins his fight and returns to his dressing room to find two fight bunnies waiting for him, he forgets about the edging with the new pr rep and decides to partake in what they are offering till Ruby walks through the door.
Turns out his old best friend is now the hot shot PR talent who is supposed to get him out of his current mess, by the question on his mind is does she recognize him.
Ruby can not believe that she has to represent an Mma fighter and finds herself not thrilled with being in the arena, but while she waits for her meeting she finds herself dumbfounded that this fighter has to be her childhood freind Kaiden, now fully grown handsome and strong, not the young boy she usetoplay with and hide from his father when she could, or kiss his boo- boos, but a full grown virile man; but will he recognize or even remember her.
Though these two play dumb for a little they eventually own up to knowing each other and over the next few days the Manwhore in Kaiden can not resist coming out to play with Ruby .
Just as these two start moving into a new relationship the plot twists and the baby that could not possibly be his , is looking more like it is and though he wants nothing to do with the babies mother he wants to be in the child's life, so Ruby sets up a Pr plan to help Kaiden fix this mess. A mess that has gotten worse since the two of them started sneaking around seeing each there to avoid her losing her job,because yu do not sleep with your clients. However Kaiden can tell that Ruby has recently started keeping secrets and the hidden good boy emerges looking to help his Ruby.
Is their secrets? Yes
Does Ruby come clean? Yes
Do we get an Hea? Yes

Kaiden and Riley were best friends growing up until their families moved away from each other when they were twelve. Kaiden is now an MMA fighter, bar hopper, arrogant, and a man whore. Completely different from the sweet boy Riley remembered. Riley works in a PR firm and is assigned to him to help with his image, especially with his newest scandal with a starlet claiming she is pregnant with his child. Kaiden recognizes Riley but has acted and been a jerk for so many years it is second nature to him.

I enjoyed Kaiden and Riley’s story. Both have to deal with the starlet and her drama. Kaiden wants to be a father and this situation coupled with finding Riley again make him really look at who ha has become. Riley has her own personal trauma to deal with at the same time and must face this on her own. Both have feelings for each other, even after the years they spent apart.

Kaiden Cross and Riley Solis have been good childhood friends, until he has to move away by his abusive father. Kaiden then decides to learn how to take care of himself. Now, years later, Riley has become his public relations agent..will he recognise her....oh yeah.
Riley has to deal with a scheming ex, lies, deceit, passion, revelations so heartbreaking BUT as always Kaiden is there for her. A truly beautiful story.

Riley is a PR agent and is picking up a new client who just happens to be her childhood best friend, Kaiden Cross. Kaiden is in some trouble with Serra Silver saying she's pregnant with his baby. Riley has to have a baby soon because of her health condition. This book is full of sex, mystery and lots of drama. Avery Wilde has a superb way to tell stories that you can actually see this playing in your head as a movie. You will fall in love with her books, I know I did.

This is a old best friends turn lovers when they find each other again...years later. Kaiden is definitely the good catch in this one although he was a tad shady at first. Riley was weak & just all over the place...really got on my nerve being so wishy washy. Plot was good, the other stuff was way too serious and sometimes too crazy but there was so much of it that it overwhelmed their actual romance plot.

The description doesn't do no justice to the book as I believe it is poorly written. The story is so much more then what is described. For example Kaiden and Riley have history between them as the were child hood best friends. who looked out for each other and told their darkest secrets to.

my opinion of the book is that I really enjoyed reading the book and found it to be am enjoyable read. switching between both Riley and Kaiden was intersing as you get inside both their life's. but wish that some things remained hidden between us the reads so t makes more of a mystery.

Riley is a pr who helps makes celebrity image look better. Riley gave up on her dream and lives for the day. being kind and strong she throws herself into work to do a brillaint job. her character is loveable and easy to picture.

Kaidens character comes of as an arrogant pick due to the way he was Brough up. being abused as a young child is the reason for fighting in the first place. not caring about his image only what happens in the cage. Kaiden doesn't relize how bad every think has spiraled out of control.

pr to Kaiden cross Riley is not thrilled to have his job but she will do her bet despite the cool shoulder. Kaiden and Riley must over come past feeling and future problems if they believe they have a shot. With one celebrity calming she's pregnant with Kaidens baby and causing up a storm with the media, Riley's health problems and her career on the line. They have to be careful as one wrong move can destroy them both

Kaiden Cross is a MMA fighter and ends up with a publicity nightmare. Riley Solis is working for the PR firm that will be working to get the scandal yesterday's new. Riley and Kaiden used to know each other as kids until family issues had them moving in different directions. So when his account is dropped into her lap she tries to talk her boss out of her handling it. Her boss gives it to her to handle with some conditions number DON'T SLEEP with the client. Should be easy since he is nothing like the boy she knew.

As soon as Kaiden sees Riley in the crowd he knew she was his best friends from his childhood. He acted like he didn't know her because he didn't think she approved of what he had done with his life. Working together closely to prove whether a woman unborn child was his or not had sparks flying. Riley works hard on getting good publicity out there even with the baby mama trying to screw everything up. Then Riley ends up doing the one things she was told not to do she sleeps with Kaiden. They sneak around because she doesn't want to lose her job but when Kaiden gets tired of it will Riley risk everything for love?

This was an amazing read. Riley is a lovable character and makes you want her to get everything she wants. Kaiden was an arrogant moron when the story started but completely changed by the end of the book. The story was well written and kept you wanting more with each turn of the page. I really recommend that you read this book if you haven't.

I loved this book and couldn't put it down. Kaiden and Riley were best friends when they were kids and were torn apart when their families moved away from each other. Kaiden is now a professional fighter as his father used to beat him up as a child and this was his way to learn to defend himself. Riley now works as a PR rep at a firm and ends up representing him. will he recognize her after all these years, oh yea but he just doesn't let on at first. There is some drama with and ex of Kaiden's when she pretends to be pregnant. Riley has to go through some personal medical scares and they find a way to get together and put things behind them. I received this copy free for an honest review and I can honestly say that I loved it.

Riley will do her best to help Kaiden with his PR nightmare that is an actress that claims to be pregnant with his child. Riley is living her own nightmare when she has medical tests and then gets the results. When Kaiden finds out he will do anything to help his childhood friend, and Riley realizes that he may be the answer to her dilemma. Wow, the plot twists and turns, the story will make you chuckle from time to time, but it can also bring tears to your eyes. A must read with wonderful characters that find themselves faced with life altering decisions. Fantastic book, I loved it!

Kaiden Cross is a champion MMA fighter, he has a certain reputation concerning booze and women, and none of it is good. Riley Solis is a PR agent, she soon gets assigned to alleviate the drama in Kaiden's life, but it gets a little personal.

Kaiden and Riley were childhood friends, but as time passes these two lose the connection they once had. When these two meet again, nothing is as it seems. Though they had a great relationship when they were younger they choose to keep secrets and lie to each other.

I felt like I had a connection in the beginning to these characters, but as I read on I seemed to lose that. This was a pretty dramatic story, so if you like that kind of thing I would recommend it.

Bad Boy Baby Daddy by first time author Avery Wilde was offered as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I was drawn into the story of Riley Solis & Kaiden Cross, childhood friends who lose contact & them meet up on their twenties. He is now a very successful. MMA fighter & she's a PR assistant assigned to manage his celebrity.
The story flowed well, the characters developed through the book & I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I was impressed by this first time authors writing & will not hesitate to read her later works.

Get the tissues ready, I've been emotional throughout this whole story. What can I say that won't spoil this well written very touching story about an alpha male MMA champ and the best friend he lost over a decade ago but comes back when he needs a friend.to get through a touch chapter of life. Riley might seem tough as nails but underneath she is fragile and when some news from her doctor comes up she will need her childhood friend there to help her find strength for what to come.

This was a decent book and the story was emotive due to the cancer gene storyline. Riley had a lot going on and it was only right that her childhood best friend Kaiden reappeared in her life at a time when she most needed him. Kaiden was a good guy although his reputation wasn't good. He wasn't really the bad boy that the blurb said, he was just an MMA fighter, everything else about him was sweet. There were quite a lot of grammatical errors in this book which was annoying. Overall it was decent enough.

so i am using KU to read this and will use KU for books when i can .
so what happens when you have a fighter your the new PR to, but what if that same fighter is someone you once knew as a kid. and what if sparks fly between you . even if it is again the firms rules . and what of the fighters ex claiming to be pregnant is she or is it just a ruse . and what happens when the ex is jealous of the PR and her ex boyfriend being with another . can these two overcome the hiccups along the way or are they destined to be apart .

Kaiden may have the reputation of a man whore, but I would take him in a second. Hot body, blue eyes and such a sweet caring personality. Riley has always cared for Kaiden beginning when they were children and continuing through now. They are perfect together. They go through many ups and downs and Hell at times, but in the end, they are meant to be together. Totally fell in love with this story!

Kaiden went into MMA because his dad would abuse him when he was younger. Kaiden would go over to Riley's house and Riley would patch Kaiden up. I loved this story. It started out him getting out of his bad boy ways but she was his heart see there story. The second book is of Zack and shay step siblings but finding out after the death of their parents see their story too. Two very good story's.

This story had an unusual hook in that the H & h were once childhood friends, grown apart by circumstance and back together by business. It was good but then seemed a little rushed in places and not so much in others. The ending really pulled everything together nicely. Overall a goo read.

This was my first book by Avery Wilde and it's a banger! Kaiden and Riley's story is hot, steamy, and just a little bit emotional. There were actually parts that made me want to tear up. What would happen if the one person who you loved as a child, but lost touch with, was suddenly back in your life? People change, but has he changed too much? I really enjoyed reading this story. Full of emotion and some nice twists and turns. I didn't put the book down until I was finished. Looking forward to reading more from Avery.
