When a threat so brutal it has the force to rip the magic right out of the world takes over Vagabond Circus, everyone seeks refuge away from the big top. Finley knows he has to protect the circus he’s grown to love, and its people. But to do that he’ll have to further scar his soul. Jack is relentless to take back what was stolen from him, but in the process he becomes someone he never expected. And this acrobat, who once stole the hearts of millions, accidentally steals a heart he didn’t expect. But it is Titus who is most changed by the events at Vagabond Circus. He’s always been the fearful coward, but with a new threat bearing down on his best friend’s circus he knows he has to invent the courage to become a new man. Zuma watches from the sidelines as the people she loves grow in an effort to save one of the most important ventures in the world.

In this final installment to the Vagabond Circus series, deals will be made, futures tampered with, and everyone’s hearts broken. But the question that will keep the troupe of this circus going is precisely the same one that will plague readers. Can Dr. Dave Raydon’s circus be saved? And if it can’t, then is everything around it doomed?

Love is really the most beautiful show. It can’t rehearsed. It can’t be planned. It is the product of magic. It is what Vagabond Circus is all about.

Do you know this feeling when a story finally comes to its conclusion, and all you do is just stare into the void and cry, because a part of you will always live inside the pages? Do you know that moment when you finish a book you really loved, and have to move on from a wonderful world, full of complicated characters, breathtaking plot twists and magic? If your answer on these questions was yes , then you know exactly how I felt when I finished Released.

description

It was such a beautiful, breathtaking journey, full of unexpected turns and a character cast unlike any other (I have a fondness for circus characters). First of all, multiple pov stories are the best (I am open to recommendations), and Vagabond Circus is indeed one, where the reader has the ability to step into the mind of every single character, and see the world from their eyes. The fact that I listened to the audiobook for this made the experience all the more magical and unique, as I absolutely loved listening to every character's voice and thoughts. By the way, for the audiobook fans out there, the speaker's voice was crystal clear and the voice of every character was brought out in a distinctive way.

The magical powers in this are by themselves something really great, in the way they work, and I was really happy to see how they all played out in the last installment. In fact, circus books always seem to capture a little more magic than the rest of the books, and I will never quite comprehend how exactly this is possible.

Because I previously spoke of characters, I need to make a few specific mentions. First of all, yes, Zuma, Jack and Finley, the protagonists, were great by themselves, but what really stole my heart was the sidekicks, who were so well developed and had stories and complex thoughts on their own. Sunshine, Ian, Jasmine, Oliver, Benjamin, Fanny and Titus, all found a place in my heart and gave me a spectrum of emotions.

As for the plot, it was exactly the quick, whimsical and absolutely heart wrenching thing I wanted. It was full of twists and turns that kept me at the edge of my seat, making me all the more excited to see what was going to happen. The thing is, though, that there was one plot twist that I quite despised. I am going to briefly talk about it in spoilers, but if you want to avoid spoiling yourself, I'll state here that it's an overused plot that brings pain and sadness to a lot of readers. . Also, there was another plot twist that disturbed me, one near the end, where someone decided to end his life. It saddened and bugged me, because I thought that it portrayed that no matter what, some people can never find happiness, which is not true, but I know why the author did it, and I leave it to the other readers to decide for themselves.

description

Speaking of twists regarding characters, I really loved the story arc of Jack, as he learned to trust himself and have faith in himself, took a taste of what it is to make your dreams come true with struggle, and grew in my heart, as before this book he wasn't of too much interest to me.

Back to the audiobook discussion, when Knight, the main villain, shouted, my entire being froze with fear, as it was a whispery, bone chilling voice that made me twitchy and afraid. I absolutely loved the way he was portrayed, as he was a villain of layer upon layer. I also really admired his ending, and the way it was all played and acted upon. His punishment was fitting, and so was the one of his two most precious soldiers, Sebastian and Gwendolyn.

The way some things in this book were portrayed was absolutely stunning. The author managed to bring to the page every stage of grief, for every character, trauma, worry, doubt, hope, love and friendship, in every layer and complication there is, and it was such a great experience. The fact that toxic people and the importance of cutting them off was mentioned was also very, very good in my opinion, because toxic relationships (of all sorts) are unfortunately a very complicated and exhausting thing. It taught me such an important lesson, and gave me strength to face some tough real life situations.

I think that this is enough babbling for today, but the truth is, I really, really enjoyed the last book in the Vagabond circus series and I am really excited to read more by Sarah Noffke.

***I received the ARC ebook from the author in exchange for an honest review***

You’d think I would grow used to seeing ‘The End’ in Noffke’s books (you might even think I wouldn’t get overly emotional and have it introduce a book hangover), it’s possible you’d also think that with Released being her 10th published work she’d go easy on her readers (by not being so trigger happy for example). And if so, you’d think wrong. Which is why I love this book.

After Paralyzed, the Vagabond Circus may be back in town but its way of making people believe has been replaced with instilling fear. The tone has changed to something sinister and the events were downright cruel, both on and off stage. Characters are struggling to stay alive, never mind tend to wounds and broken hearts. Together they have to find the strength to save their family.

The story has always been about more than just Zuma and Finley and it’s never been more evident than when everyone is at risk. I loved seeing into the minds of other characters, where their personalities came through the writing clear as day. In a way it welcomed me to the family as well. Of course not everyone is pleasant… I can think of someone in particular that freaked me out *cough*Sebastian*cough* and another that is sure to be one of the best villains I’ve ever read about *cough*Knight*cough*.

That said, Zuma and Finley’s relationship still has my heart. Every tortured glance hurt like nothing else and every moment of triumph brought with it a feeling of elation that didn’t end (until another tortured glance obviously because as we’ve established Noffke loves to make fangirl hearts suffer!). Just like everything else it was one hell of a rollercoaster and I’m going to miss experiencing it. Encore!

" The universe plays games, but not by the rules."

This is the last book in the amazing Vagabond Circus Series. And boy was that good! The author picks right up from where we were left in book two and goes straight into the story with lots of action and a plot that evolves in every chapter.

'Only those who have been through hell know how to withstand fire'

The book is full of amazing revelations, new relationships forming, shocking moments, as well as incredible feels of sadness and frustration. The circus members have to come to terms to their new reality and to deal with Charles Knight and his sadistic behaviour. I loved that we were shown each character's point of view and so we could see their thoughts and feelings as well as the way each one handled this situation.

Chapter 65 was my favourite one BY FAR! Loved Finley (as in all the books of the series) and Zuma. But in the third book we get to know more about other characters as well, like Sunshine, Ian and the triplets.
'Love is really the most beautiful show. It can’t be rehearsed. It can’t be planned. It is the product of magic. It is what Vagabond Circus is all about.'

Being the third book I really can't tell much without giving things away. But all in all, it was a very satisfying ending to an incredible story. Make sure you read it ;)

*Many thanks to Sarah Noffke for giving me an eCopy of her amazing book!*

I received an advanced reading copy in exchange for a honest review.

The book continues with Knight in charge of the circus. He reigns his terrors upon all of the Vagabond Circus. Loyalties will be tested and consequences will be paid. All the major players are back with vengeance and limits will be tested. It will take you for a ride and closes the series out with a bang. It is a must ride for everyone who needs a little magic in their life.

I fell in love with this series from the first page and my love affair continued to the last page. The writing has been spectacular and the story has been fast paced. The characters were lovable and keep you engaged and interested the entire time. I can't get over the magic of the Vagabond Circus. I want to live there with everyone. I feel a certain connection to Sunshine. I always liked her but I feel like you get a better a connection with her now. I found that I just love her. Even though I still love Dave, Sunshine is my new favorite. She is just so real and straight to the point. I feel like you get know more about most of the characters. They are all special and strong in their own ways. I will miss them terribly and will probably dream of Finley tonight.

I know must say goodbye to these characters that continue to touch my life and mind. My favorite line was 'Two men were in the big top and only one would walk out'.

My first goodbye is to Titus. Goodbye Titus you were strong when you needed to be and I applaud your courage.
Goodbye Oliver. I will miss your loyalty and optimism. You were brave and patient. I will value your patience and I plan on using more patience in my daily activities.
Goodbye Fanny. Oh you are just a pure soul. I will miss your nurturing nature. I will miss your sweet words that give strength to everyone around you.
Goodbye Ian. You made great sacrifices to save others. I will miss you and your riddles.
Goodbye Padmal. I will miss your irritating self. You made me so mad all the time but I liked to hate you
Goodbye Jazmine. You always had great advice and that extra nudge to achieve greatness. You lived by the words you spoke and I plan on doing the same.
Goodbye Dave. Your spirit and kindness is daily reminder that I could always improve and bring happiness to those around me.
Goodbye Jack. You continue to prove people wrong which is incredible. It never mattered what your parents or siblings say you made a decision to join the circus and become a terrific man. Your inner strength is enough to inspire many people.
Goodbye Zuma. I will miss you so much. You were just a sassy thing and I got to watch you turn in to an amazing woman. I admire you and wish I had more time with you. I will never forget your pink streak and white hair.
Goodbye Finley. Oh geez I loved you from the start. You came from such a tortured past and overcame everything. You are the ultimate hero and a role model. I miss you and hope to read about you in another series because I don't really think I could ever fully say goodbye.
Goodbye Sunshine. I think you changed the most. I watched you grow in to a inspiring woman. I feel like you were overlooked and really just got a chance to shine. You will be a sun in my mind for years to come.

Goodbye Vagabond Circus. You have gave me hours of pleasure and many jaw dropping moments. I will never forget you and your magic will always live in my heart.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

STEP RIGHT UP! The Vagabond Circus is in town. This is no longer the same fun magical circus you want to take you sons and daughters too. This is more dark and sinister like a scary movie you and friends go to in high school and then freak out in the parking lot when you see a cat run across your path. What use to be magical now has an element of fear to it.

Nothing is the same with the circus since Zuma, Finley and Jack return. The performers have to decide do they stay and ride out this evil change or do they turn and run from the only family they have ever known. Jack is recovering from his injuries and is stuck with someone that is great at giving him the motivation to move. I never pictured these two as friends let alone more but they make a great team. Finley is shutting Zuma out although Zume is persistent and keeps pushing him.

This is an emotional read where the twist and turns had me in knots. Not going to lie there were a few times where I was not happy where the people were headed or what happened to them. Like any family some I loved, some I disliked and some I wanted to keep an eye on. Yes, I thought of them as my family this is how great Sarah is at sucking me into this story. There are times I was in shock and had tears streaming as I saw things unfold in front of me. This is not all happy sunshine and flowers there is dark and sinister times at the circus now and no one is safe. Some of my family didn’t make it out alive, others find strength where they thought they had none, and some find love where they least expect it.

Sarah’s series keep getting better and better. The villains get more evil and sinister and the love stories have more depth the more she writes. Sarah has a way of taking you down a path on a warm sunny day looking at the flowers only to have a storm roll in and leave you there in the storm’s path stunned and wondering what just happened and where will we end up. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with for her next book and/or series but I know whatever it is it will be great.

A few of my favorites:

“No, you obviously don’t get it. You’ve lived your perfect world where you haven’t been happy, but you were always safe and the biggest danger was falling to the springy net below. The world you’re in now is actually dangerous,” he said, his face red, his words carrying heat, his finger pointed to the ground under Zuma. “You seem to think I can save you or protect you. I can’t. There’s no net now, Zuma.”

I’m going to live and I’m going to die, and unlike Dave or most people at Vagabond Circus, I’m not full of some greatness

“Titus it takes a good man to admit when he’s been wrong, but it takes a great man to become the person who would no longer make such mistakes.”

"I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review."

Well Miss Trigger Happy, you've done it again.
This was a completely out of this world finish to a series. This whole series was out of this world to be frank. But this final book took the cake.
And of course if said cake would be in the shape of an even more handsome Finley I'll be on that like a shark on a baby seal. I'll even have seconds, and thirds.
I don't want you to get your hopes up folks, Ms. Noffke didn't grow a conscience, she still destroys your hopes and dreams for a while. She is still a sadistic author who loves to play with her readers feelings to the point where you want to smash that damn kindle to kingdom come. But. It. Is. All. Worth. It. In. The. End.
Yep, although she delivers the most debilitating of blows she also has the power to make your soul soar. And that's the crux of it, she gives new hope for something better, and makes you want to be a better person because you're right there with her characters, struggling to survive and conquer at the same time.
If you've read any of my other reviews for Ms. Noffke's books than you know I love them all. The fun part is that although they happen in the same world of the Dream Travelers they are so different from each other. You can definitely feel the characters and their voices as being different. ALL OF THEM. I don't know how she does it. I wouldn't be able to manipulate so many characters and not face plant, but she manages it with an ease rarely seen. And it's marvelous to read and realize that you are in the presence of something great.
I don't want to say much about the plot because I could reveal vital things and this is a book that you have to experience first hand. But I will say this, it has sadness, heartbreak, drama and tragedy (again, not a surprise, considering...) and most of all it has hope and loyalty and friendship and LOVE, so much love, and pure happiness.
These characters and these books will stay with me for a long time. It's not an option for anyone who reads these to not become invested. It sucks you in and doesn't want to let you back out.

Thank you again so much for giving me the chance to be one of the first people to read your works.

*****The author provided a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.*****

4.5. This was an awesome ending to a great series. Like Suspended and Paralyzed, Released shies away from the typical needless, inexplicable threats to the hero/heroine, and instead relies on suspense, impending romance, and mystery to compel you to keep reading.

Plot:
At the end of Paralyzed, Finley and Zuma rescued Jack and returned to the circus, only to find that Knight had inherited it after Dave's death. Released picks up right where Paralyzed left off and goes on to show how Knight's maniacal rule gradually breaks the performers down until there is nothing left for them to do but fight.

Characters:
Released features the same characters as the previous books, but there are two really big differences. The first is that we actually get to see Knight in action as opposed to relying on Finley's recollections, which now seem almost sugarcoated. The second is that the characters (who we knew were damaged but came to love anyway) really have to embrace their inner darkness to try and defeat Knight.

Writing:
One of the things I love about Noffke's books is that they are so well-edited. I only found a couple of typos, and I was reading a pre-release copy. I love clean writing because it means that I can focus more on the story at hand rather than the errors on the page. In terms of content, there were a few curse words, some disturbing scenes (a couple of which show just how demented one character is), a few acts of violence, and a tiny bit of innuendo. In terms of rating, I would probably give it a PG-13.

The Bottom Line:
Like its predecessors, Released is completely unpredictable. Noffke is so adept at her storytelling that she makes readers feel just as uncomfortable and violated as the performers who experience Knight's abuse. What makes things even more difficult is knowing that Finley, the only one strong enough to have ever escaped Knight, has lost all hope of a positive outcome. There are some deaths, but thankfully, Noffke never leaves the readers completely hopeless; she dangles little carrots of information to keep us thinking there may be a happily ever after.

Come one, come all for the last installment of the Vagabond Circus! Spellbinding, spine chilling, and incredibly magical! Just WOW! There are a few stories that I have read that have left me “feeling”....I mean, REALLY feeling. This entire series has done that for me. I have read all three and each time I am left with my head spinning and my heart thumping from excitement, surprises, and overall amazement with this story and it’s characters.

Each installment starts right where the other leaves off. In Released, the unthinkable happens and all of the dreamy magic turns to nightmares. Knight is the owner and new ringmaster of the Vagabond Circus. Right from jump things start getting out of control. Knight brings his kids in and Finley is back under his command. Everyone has “creative” intentions but it’s their questionable motives that keep you sucked in. In this captivating world of the circus you will experience everything. The characters are all intriguing. Some frustrating and some are awe inspiring. But most of all the tragedy and love are incredible!

“No, you obviously don’t get it. You’ve lived in your perfect world where you haven’t been happy, but you were always safe and the biggest danger was falling to the springy net below. The world you’re in now is actually dangerous,” he said, his face red, his words carrying heat, his finger pointed to the ground under Zuma. “You seem to think I can save you or protect you. I can’t. There’s no net now, Zuma.”

“She’d know he was a second away from exploding. An inch from the fuse inside him detonating. Zuma was the girl who would want to be there for that. She would endure the shrapnel if she could just be there to hold him up when he finally let it all out and then collapsed.”

“Love really is the most beautiful show. It can’t be rehearsed. It can’t be planned. It is the product of magic. It is what Vagabond Circus is all about.”

I have said it once and I am going to say it again. Sarah Noffke writes tragedy so good it hurts. I love it!!!! “Tragedies bring about great fortunes sometimes.” Well, Ms. Noffke....you have done it again! Bravo! Encore! The show must go on!

Released , Releaved, Revived. 3 words. Simple but effectively describe how I feel after reading this final installment in the Vagabond Circus.
I am awed at the talent of Mrs. Noffke. How she continuously come up with this wonderful stories and incredibly complex characters baffles me.
I was spun on my head several times during this book. Like a perfectly matched performance we dance right along and here come the first twisted ankle. The rope kinks and you are not where you thought you were. No one was safe in this war. We lost friends and discovered new ones. It's hard to say goodbye to my favorites freaks and crew.
The end was poetic and gave you the closure you long for when saying goodbye to friends.

Book 3Releasrd…A tale of treachery
Charles Knight was Dr.David Raydon’s brother and his first performer 20 yrs ago. Where David brought out the good in people, Charles naturally brings out the bad and depravity in people. Charles was banned from the Vagabond Circus yrs ago. At a time when evil had destroyed Dr.Raydon’s beloved circus. Being Daivid’s brother, Charles now owned the majority share and Titus being Dr Raydon’s partner with a holding of 45% of the Circus.
Mr. Knight had driven onto the circus grounds with big black trucks, the man himself had to be 7ft tall wiry and pale. Like he had never seen the sun. Mr Knight’s eyes were cruel and cold. Sabasten the boy Dave had taken in and who had ran away after the tragedy struck was there standing beside this hateful man along with a smaller redheaded girl named Gwen they were Knight’s enforcers and eyes, both very creepy. At the meeting he marched in two rows sad looking children all wearing black t-shirts looking down at the ground , there had to be at least 40 of them. They didn’t speak or look up. Mr.Kight forbid any of the Circus folks from speaking or interacting with “his children” in any way.
Mr.Knight was going to change up the show. Where it was light and airy it was now spooky and heavy. There was drinking and fighting among the Vagabond Circus family, things were going on that Dave would never have allowed. Ian, the crew had had told the performers that they had to stay for the greater good. Ian was never wrong and he had a good reputation so very one listened to him. Knight would plague those who disobeyed him with horrible headaches. They had to play along for now even though everything in them told them to run. No one was happy except maybe Padmal, because she was able to talk Knight into letting them juggle with sharp ice sickles, something Dave had shot down when it was first mentioned. She hated Dave for taking her and her brothers out of the orphanage. She just knew her mother would come back for her some day, but her adoration for Mr.Kinght will be short lived. The performers all felt helpless and miserable. Finley was keeping his distance from Zuma and the others to protect them from the wrath of Knight. Knight would find who or what you loved and he would hurt or destroy them in order to control.
There is a small core group that were planning on getting rid of Knight, Gwen & Sebastian. They just had to keep the Legacy alive of what Dr.Raydon had created they had to take the Circus back.
Fanny had tossed a huge secret. It changed everything in the way Mr. Knightly believed to be true. It made Finley’s life even worse for a time. All hope was not lost. Even though there had been several deaths under Mr. Knights leadership.

To find out more pick up this enchanting series and other books by Sarah Noffke. You will be memorized and amazed. This Dream Traveler world that Mrs. Noffke created is amazing and it stretches across several of her series. Each one is enchanting, well written and will transport you in time. You will love her well rounded, complex and amazing characters, and love to hate others.

“Released” the conclusion to the dark and imaginative “Vagabond Circus” trilogy opens when Zuma and Finley return with their paralyzed friend and fellow acrobat Jack Fuller to a circus now owned by the evil Charles Knight after having his brother Dr. Dave Raydon murdered. Unlike his kind- spirited and generous brother who built a magical fantasy world under the Big Top, Knight loves the suffering, pain and sorrow he causes the troupe and crew with the help of Sebastian, a teen with a lethal touch and Gwendolyn the Power-Stopper, to ensure their compliance.

Determined to protect the circus and the young woman he loves, Finley obeys his abusive “Master” keeping himself aloof from Zuma and helping to bring the nightmare to life that engages the audience at every performance while Jack struggles to regain his strength and walk again. As darkness, fear and death prowl the circus grounds, and the Vagabond Circus appears doomed, a ray of hope emerges when a lie is told, a secret is disclosed, and plans emerge to rid the circus of its evil.

Fast-paced and emotionally-charged intensity and suspense escalate as Zuma is stalked by a killer, Finley’s parentage is revealed, and Knight’s darkness spreads bringing conflict, heartbreak, and pain to the Big Top. With mesmerizing twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat as two brothers’ toxic past poisons the present, not only do Zuma and Finley discover the depth of their love after she forgives him, but Jack steals an unsuspecting heart. Masterfully Sarah Noffke creates a well-developed story with layers of complexity and weaves it into a whirlwind of violence and abuse as Dr. Dave Raydon’s circus family is shattered only to emerge victorious and looking forward to a positive and happy future.

Turning the enchanted, dreamy atmosphere of the Big Top into a nightmarish hell is Charles Knight, a man haunted by a past that left him soulless, sinister and cruel. Intimidating and abusive he terrorizes the circus with his power to inflict pain and with the use of his two steadfast instruments of death. Yet out of all the violence and tragedy heroes are born like Titus Rogers a fearful coward whose fortitude and confidence strengthens the plan to save the circus; Jack Fuller the paralyzed acrobat who finds self-worth, self-assurance and love while defeating his handicap; and loyal, strategic-minded, brave and protective Finley who overcomes an abusive past and defeats a curse. It is these characters and others that are changed by events as they struggle to overcome their weaknesses and save the circus they love.

I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy and especially “Released” which was difficult to put down until finished. Kudos to Sarah Noffke for an original, tension-filled and intoxicating story line brought to life by extraordinary characters.

This is the final novel in Sarah Noffke’s Vagabond Circus trilogy of young adult paranormal fantasy, which is part of her Dream Traveler universe. It’s an interesting world, and I enjoyed learning about a different group of Dream Travelers. This trilogy is best enjoyed in order. In addition, although it’s not essential, I recommend reading Noffke’s Lucidites Series first so you have a better understanding of Dream Travelers before tackling this series.

This final book is more exciting and suspenseful than the previous books, and it was interesting to see how the Dream Travelers used their abilities. The story is told in short chapters that alternate among many different characters’ points of view. I found that a bit jarring, although it does allow the reader to know and understand the characters better. Most of the characters are interesting, but some are too one-dimensional and not at all likeable. In fact, my biggest complaint about this book is that the villains are so completely over the top. I know this author is capable of writing fascinating, complex characters, and I wish she would invest more effort in creating complex, relatable villains.

Steve Barnes did a nice job with narration. He’s easy to understand, and his pacing is good. He created interesting character voices and conveyed emotions well. I could easily imagine Charles Knight twirling his mustache while laughing maliciously.

I was given a free copy of this audiobook by the author and volunteered to provide an honest review.

I loved this final book. It was very dark, shocking, sad but also inspirying and magical. There were some things that were pretty obvious but some that shocked me a lot. I liked the final a lot, everything made sense in the end. I will actually miss the characters and Vagabond Circus.

This last book in the Vagabond Circus Trilogy took me places I couldn't have imagined. Like the trapeze artists in the story, I found myself going through highs and lows, and through spins, and circles, as I read all that was happening to the people who make up the Circus.

First, and foremost, is the story of Finley and Zuma and how, through their deep love for each other, but also for the Circus that gave them all they needed, they managed to form a bond, so strong, that they were able to free the Circus from the foul hands of Charles Knight.

How they went about it had me holding my breath at times, and there were times when I just couldn't stop reading, for fear of what might happen to them, and the rest of the amazing folk who, together, were the Vagabond Circus!

If you do nothing else, then get this whole series, written by Sarah Noffke, about the Dream Travelers, as it'll open your eyes to a whole new world of magic!

But, now I've finished this trilogy, I'm off to yet another of her Dream Traveler series: Ren.

I've read about Ren in the Lucidites, and the Revenants series, so I'm dying to learn his story, and how he became the character that he is, so I'll catch you on the flip side, after reading the first book of this series: The Man Behind the Monster, and I'll let you know what I thought of it!

This is the twenty-first book I’ve read/listened to by this author and I would listen to anything she writes.
The Dream Traveler books are all so unique and well written. This is a good end to this series. It does not feel forced and is not a quick solution. This has been a well thought out story.

This is the third book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Steve Barnes ) and I would listen to another. His voice is breathy which adds to the suspense. Sometimes it didn’t seem appropriate, but for the most part, it works. His male and female character voices are done equally well.

There are no explicit sex scenes, excessive violence or swearing.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this unbiased review.

A rollercoaster ride

The emotions are so strongly and realistically portrayed, that you can't help but be completely absorbed in the story and lose yourself in the characters. The changes of possible futures and what needs to happen is mind boggling. There is so much heartache and pain but, like a phoenix, joy and love rise up.

Sarah has become a favourite author because she creates characters I can fall in love with. She has a wisdom beyond most, and sprinkles it throughout her stories. There are so many nuggets of wisdom for the readers to absorb and contemplate, universal truths that many do not see. I am excited to see what her next books are.

I'm not sure what happened. I'm reading along, having enjoyed the first two books, and somewhere in the middle of this one, I realized that I just wasn't enjoying it any more. In fairness to the author, this series is a little darker than my usual fare, so it could be me who lost interest in following on with something so different from my usual. But it seems to me that it sort of starts dragging on, just not enough movement to keep me interested. It could be that for people who routinely enjoy this genre that it will be more appealing than for me.

The series grew stronger with each book. Zuma and Finley return to Vagabond Circus to find a nightmare, Knight is now running the circus as Dave's only living heir.
The circus has become Hell for the crew and performers alike. Knight tortures them at his whim, and gets them fighting and arguing with each other. But Ian tells them that they must stay on to have a chance for everything to work out.
Sarah Noffke has done a wonderful job building up to this climax. All the bows are wrapped up in fine form

If I could give the book a thousand stars I would!

Released is, by far, my favorite book by Sarah Noffke! The finale in The Vagabond Circus series reminds me of Finley and Zuma's finale in their circus act; beautiful, full of energy, and love. I wish I could have been a part of The Vagabond Circus to see all the acts and witness it all first hand.

Sarah is just brilliant and every one of her books is better than the last!

Thank you for your magnificent mind Sarah!

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Sarah Noffke never fails to disappoint and the Vagabond Circus series is phenomenal!

I can't recall the last time I was so enamored with a book. With each book I have grown to love this series more and more. Even the characters you want to hate you cannot help but be invested in their fates. So many times I found myself on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, shrieking, cheering, and feeling every other emotion under the sun.

WOW! Great book. Full of tension and emotions – highs and lows. There are twists that you don’t expect – all holding your attention as you have to read more to discover what happens next. There is dark vs light, good vs bad and the tiny light of hope. The circus is the perfect venue for this story of all our emotions, hope, fear, desperation, revenge and love. It shows that each one of us has an effect on each other. This series is one of those I plan on reading again!

Such a great ending.

This finale is so perfect for the series. I don't want to give away the story, but this is the best series I've read in a long time. Zuma, Jack, Finley and the crew all get what's coming to them.

Great 3 book series

Loved each book. The story was written well with the story and characters developing along the way. I can't say too much without giving things away but the 3 books are definitely worth your time.
