Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.
Note: WorldCat is an excellent resource for finding author information and contents of anthologies.
Why Everything You Know is Wrong by Various is an awesome because it is a book about debunking myths. One good myth was that flies do not live for only one day but live up to month or that you can not see the great wall of china from space. These fact helped see the world in new way and when I share this book with my friends they always surprise about all things that are myths. I recommend this book to anybody because this is such a good book.
A detailed, well-illustrated informative text that addresses many common misconceptions. Table of contents and index will help readers find a specific topic of interest. The text is engaging enough for a cover-to-cover read. Text structures are used throughout. Could be a useful text to explore text structures or compare with another informative text.
A fun book about things we think are true but actually aren’t. As it’s written for kids and I’m a semi-intelligent/informed person, there weren’t any big surprises to me. I do think the kids will like it and I did learn a couple of interesting side facts.
Only saw 1 of these at the book fair and in an odd spot. A little worn, so maybe recycled [or is cover made to look like that?!], but it was a decent price and may be a new favorite fun book.
