Andy and Susan were childhood best friends who were separated suddenly by his parents' work. What was supposed to be a short separation becomes complicated when disaster strikes. Andy is unable to return to the home of his youth until after his 21st birthday. Despite the years of separation he often wondered about the childhood friend that he was forced to leave behind. He wondered if Susan still lived in their hometown or if she would even remember him. He could never have imagined the unusual circumstances that would surround their eventual reunion.

Susan had no idea who he was when she first saw him in the old lighthouse and he thought she was a burglar there to loot his family home. When they finally faced each other and discovered that they were the childhood best friends separated by time and tragedy, they were instantly drawn to each other. He couldn’t believe how beautiful she had become while Susan thought he had grown in to quite the hunk.

Just as they grow closer and their relationship blossoms Andy suddenly disappears again for several months. Susan was very devastated but knew that she had to move on with her life.

Will they ever find their way back to each other and if they do can Susan ever forgive him and his vanishing act?

Marica Vance is a Kentucky girl through and through, from her early days spent in Franklin, Kentucky to her current home there she is proud to call the Bluegrass State her home. After retiring from her job as a hair dresser she decided to pursue her lifelong dream of writing. When she isn’t busy writing she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, her sounding boards. She also has a pet Chihuahua who is her constant writing companion.

Marica’s desire to write stems from a love of reading which she shared with her sister. Combining her love of reading with her passion for matchmaking led her to write her first book, a story of true love and friendship that spans oceans and time. Her hope is that her stories will help people escape the conundrums of everyday life and take them to the places they dream about. Through her books, readers will find the happily ever after they have always dreamed of with the prince who may not be as far out of reach as you believe.

Sweet

This is a very sweet book although very much in the book world when it comes to its plot and the pace of it. Almost unbelievable but I'd love for it to be real you might too.
