Valery Vladimirovich Medvedev (at birth - Valery Ivanovich Marinin) Soviet Russian writer and actor. Author of books for children.

Valery Marinin in 1940 entered the directing department of the State Institute of Theater Arts named after A. V. Lunacharsky, but the Great Patriotic War interrupted his studies. After demobilization he graduated from GITIS in 1952 and worked in the Moscow theater named after Mossovet, acted in films.

He came to children's literature in 1957, his first book in the fantasy genre was the story-tale "Barankin, be a man!" (1962). Subsequently, this very popular story was translated into almost 30 languages ​​and awarded a diploma of the international competition named after H.-H. Andersen. A cartoon, a play and even an operetta were created based on her motives. In 1983, the book "Fantasies of Barankin" was awarded the State Prize of the RSFSR named after N. K. Krupskaya.

Among the other works of the writer are the books "Voices", "Gosling of the Third Grade", the novels "Captain Sovri-head", "Vovka Vesnushkin in the country of clockwork men", "Super-Adventures of the Super-Cosmonaut". In addition to works for children, Valery Medvedev is also known as the author of texts for Leonid Utesov, Claudia Shulzhenko and Arkady Raikin.

Volumul de față ne spune povestea celor doi protagoniști pe nume Kostea și Barankin care elevi de școală fiind în urma primirii unor note de doi, nu mai doresc să fie oameni deoarece consideră că este prea greu să fii om. Așa că inventează diverse formule magice și se transformă pe rând în păsări, fluturi și furnici, de fiecare dată conviși că aceste viețuitoare duc o viață mult mai bună ca a lor de oameni. Însă după o serie de peripeții în care păssări fiind scapă ca prin urechiile acului de pisica Musika (chiar a lui Barankin), fluturii fiind scapă de proprii colegi de școală care vor să-i prindă și furnici fiind scapă de alte furnici mai puternice, cei doi își doresc să fie din nou oameni. Ajunși din nou oameni, își stabilesc ca unic scop în viață învățătura și nu se mai dedau de la nici-o muncă fizică care până atunci ar fi făcut orice ca să o evite.

Esimese loo lugesin läbi ja see oli minule 25 aastasele päris huvitav lugemine. Ei saanud raamatut käest panna. Väga mõnus ajaveetmine. 😄
