BOOK #1 PREVIEW
Jake ran down the road, panting. He hated walking around this town at night. Everyone was creepy and religious and it made him really uncomfortable. And he was pretty sure that they were all against him anyway. He was a dark guy, kind of gothic. He liked heavy metal music and weird and creepy things, but at the same time, there was just something about this place that made him want to stay inside at night.

Cindy Hewes arrived at work, tugging at her snugly fitting business dress. It was time for another day of the same old thing. She sighed, and laboriously trudged to her cubicle. It was the furthest workspace from the door, so she had to move past almost everyone on her floor before arriving at her desk. This wouldn't be a big deal for most people, but Cindy was a big girl who happened to be very well-endowed, and walking through narrow rows of chairs and people got pretty awkward sometimes.

Jack ran down the hall, not sure what he should do. He was really angry that anybody would dare to question his decisions about his own company, especially somebody who he thought that he could trust. They had been friends for so long that he didn’t think that Zoe would ever dare to make him feel as if he were making a mistake with his own company. He couldn’t get over the fact that she had produced his ego so severely, and she didn’t seem to care how he felt about it and just spoke her opinion anyway.

John stretched out in the morning sun. There was nothing quite like being out on his fields and tending to the crops so early in the morning that it seemed as if nobody else in their right mind would ever be awake to distract him. He was always very excited by the thrill of the morning and often he would walk right out of his house, his morning would still going strong in the light of it all, and he would go ahead and pleasure himself right out in the middle of the field. Nobody was there to see him and he would be able to spot anybody coming toward him from a mile away, probably literally at that point. He had some of the best farming land that anybody could ever ask for and it was flat as flat could be, and made for some incredible crops to be grown.

Sam Walker eased down the road, wondering what he should do about the intense feelings he was having toward the place where his company was about to do new developments. He was a big, head honcho type of man and wanted everything he did to be perfect and wonderful. However, it was pretty disturbing to consider that they weren’t always going to be able to do quite what he wanted and he was very disappointed about that.
