CATHERINE One week... I've got one week alone with the biggest rockstar on the planet to show the world that Liam Mercury isn't the biggest prick on the planet... There's only one problem... He really is the biggest prick on the planet! Rockstar. Reckless. Redeemable? All I know is he's the sexiest, cockiest bastard I've ever laid eyes on...
LIAM Redeemable? I don't care what the public thinks of me, but apparently, my label does. So they send her . As if I'd ever be able to keep my hands off a woman like that. If she wants to get close to me, she'd better be prepared... I'm not going to turn down the heat for anyone. Not even her.
She has one week to find this dirty-mouthed bad boy's heart of gold
Sexy and volatile, Liam leads a decadent rock star lifestyle—women, parties, fist fights and a perpetually-unbuttoned shirt showing off his lean, tightly-muscled body. His sexual prowess is legendary, but so is the chaos he causes. Constant tabloid fodder, Liam needs some good press, and experienced journalist Catherine needs to pay some bills.
Liam’s label wants a Rolling Stone cover story that rehabilitates his image. Catherine has a week on tour to uncover a fresh angle on Liam, one that shows there’s more to him than partying. In the process, she finds he lives up to part of his wild reputation--on stage and in bed.
I like that the author doesn’t just tell readers about Liam's inner turmoil. We learn about it through Catherine’s observations and discoveries. The author easily conveys Liam’s frustration with his surprising real-world responsibilities and his life on tour without it sounding like whining.
My only real complaint is that the story happens too fast, occurring mostly over one week. There simply isn’t enough time for all that happens, especially with the epilogue.
This is a fun, enjoyable book that, like Liam, isn’t stingy in the bedroom. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
Not my kind of book. The bad boy is a little too bad for me. In the opening scene a girl is giving him a blow job right in front of the heroine. Some people like the really bad bad boys but just not my type of book.

This book is more like 3.5 stars for me. The H is your stereotypical rock star, booze, women and trouble. The h is writing an article about him, trying to find a redeeming quality and improve his image. My three average rating is that I couldn't buy into his behavior...we all choose how we act, so to blame is drinking and bad behavior was to me a cop-out. The h knows she's acting unprofessionally when she gets involved with him but does it anyway. And the article she's writing? Well...that gave the story a good ending!
I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
OK - lets get straight to the point. This book is not 359 pages, its actually not even close. Its about 200. The book starts off with the basic sterotypical rockstar god Liam that is true to form of being an asshole. He is proud he is one and he knows it. The author wants to make sure we know it also. I think the beginning could have been shortened. The storyline didn't get going until about half way through. It is a great storyline and I loved Liam with the rolling stone reporter Catherine. I would have liked more details on the events in the 2nd half of the book. More as to what happened in each others lives to make them who they are today. I mean we get the information but no details. Considering this typical rockstar god, I was impressed that he really wasn't a typical one.
Catherine Donovan is supposed to write a story about Liam Mercury, lead singer of a British rock band. Liam's reputation is in need of a overhaul and Catherine's story is supposed to show that he isn't all bad. Catherine fights her attraction to Liam, but ends up exactly where she swore to herself she would never be, in Liam's bed. She finds the perfect direction for her story, but research turns up serious discrepancies in the information she was given, and puts her life in danger. Wow, these characters are so well written, and proves that what the rest of the world sees, doesn't necessarily define a person. Fantastic book!
I received this ARC free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I received Rock Hard as an ARC but unfortunately, I didn't get the whole story and have to purchased it. Anyway, Nikki Wild is an amazing author and definitely reading more of her books ! Not my first time reading her book, but this top it all. I fell in love with Liam and Catherine. Liam is definitely my favorite bad boy !!! The chemistry between the h/h was definitely sizzling hot !!! I highly suggest for the other readers to read this one, you will not regret it !!! If I can give more than 5 stars, I would ! Well done NIKKI WILD ! You're awesome !!!
There is nothing better then a good Rock Star story and wow I really loved this one. Liam is full of himself, thinks he is the best at everything, a really womanizer because why would you only stick with one woman. Well that is until Catherine comes onto the scene. Working for Rolling Stone Magazine, she is to spend the week with them to do a story to try and improve Liam's image. She soon finds out the might be hard to do. After spending time with him, she soon learns there is more to this Rock Star then anyone knows. Try as she might it doesn't stop her from falling for him. Through some bumps and turns along the way, they get their HEA.
Rock band stories are always fun to read. This was no different. It allowed you to escape into the crazy rock world with sexy rock gods. You'd have to be a sex god to be able to have sex 3+ times in a row! As much sex as they had, she must of had steam coming from between her legs, poor girl! LoL! The story does have a little action/suspense scene, that has a crazy little twist. Not sure how many pages but it was a quick read. It's a little escape from life, it did it's job so it was worth the read.
The moment I started reading this book it was very hard to put it down and I wasn't disappointed. It's a surprisingly emotional and wonderfull story written by Nikki Wild , The storyline is well written and fast paced. The continuing relationship between the main characters Catherine and Liam is one of sensuality , arousal and steamy sex . I think this is one of Nikki Wild's best stories so far and I 'm happy receiving it as an ARC for an honest review ! Looking forward to her next one !!
I absolutely loved this book to the very end. Yes you have the arrogant , prick, a**hole , playboy in this book and that pretty much describes Liam that was until Catherine who had the pleasure in joining Liam and his band Electric Horses on the road for a week to write a story for Rolling Stone on Liam. She wanted things professional him not so much so to speak. Without giving to much away I was very glad to see what happened in the end.
Rock Hard was pretty good. I was disappointed that the ending was rushed for the two 'bonus' books that I want expecting. I didn't care for either of them. The author didn't do her homework for the second book as the military rank was wrong among other glaring errors. I couldn't even finish the third one. Really disappointing as I had relatively high hopes after reading the first book.
(I'm happy to share my honest opinion about this ARC)
I love Nikki Wild books but this is my favorite one so far. I loved this book, it is the best rockstar romance I have read in a long time. Liam and Catherine's story is full of humor, sex, and is very truth to life. Life on the road can be hell and you have to love your music to make it worth it. Finding love while on tour is icing on the cake Must read, won't be disappointed.
I really really enjoyed reading this book. At first you think it's going to be your typical badly romance story but it has a lot going for it. The push and pull between Liam and Catherine. It's got laugher and serious moods in it. Keeps you entertained while reading it. I couldn't put it down once I started, can't wait for more from this author I do love reading the books
It had its moments of insane Rockstar... I really liked how fast she picked up on his real problem. I did not see how he fell for her... that was just book magic. As a journalist covering a specific story of fluff for a guy who is out of control (like a toddler most of the time) she's had to probe and observe. Then she's met his penis and that doesn't help or hurt the story. It sells books.
This book was a bit a too fast of a read. I appreciate short reads every once in a while. But this book would've been much better pulled off if it was a bit longer--because there were some plot twists that would've been great if spun further. But who could refuse a Brit rockstar? Certainly not me. Double the whammy, why don't you?
Liam and Catherine. Both have emense emotional baggage. Neither are looking for a relationship. They find themselves drawn to each other. This boo has a lot of humor and sexiness. Mix in a rocker bad boy and a HEA, and you've got this book that is definitely worth reading. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Rock Hard was a 3.5 stars for me, it was a fun read. Typical bad boy rocker, hot, sexy, and misunderstood who meets the 'one'! There's a lot of sex in this story, pretty vanilla, but steamy! Rock Hard is, as I mentioned, a quick enjoyable read!
This is the first book I've read by this author, but it won't be the last. I read the first story in one sitting- couldn't put it down! I'm going shopping right now for more!
This book was awesome. Love Nikki and all her "Wild" characters. I loved that there were bonus books with this one. All her characters have redeeming qualities and you can't help but love them.
Arc review For honest review. Catherine is a journalist from rolling stones on tour with the electric horses . Liam, rocket, Rhys, spade ,Ian and Matt's the tour manager.Awesome 10stars lots of family, dreams, and love .
When I started reading this book I didn't think I was going to like it, but I got more into it and I started to like it, it's a good book , not the best , but I feel it's worth the buy
Didn't realize this was a novella with bonus books. Too many f bombs and just ridiculously unbelievable. It's hard to really develop a story with so few pages..
